The Finnish dark metal band Horizon of Aeons are set to release their debut album, Timeless Forms of Desolation, on 29 May 2026 via Inverse Records. The single ‘Kairos’, is unleashed today and it’s available on all essential streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/horizon-of-aeons-kairos

The band comments:

“The lyrics deal with the concept of deep time. The vastness of the universe challenges human perspective. Our collective cosmic history shapes the eternal harmony of our souls. We are part of the ever-flowing stream of humanity’s consciousness. Musically, this song is more up-tempo and contains unique elements compared to other Horizon of Aeons songs. It is a perfect opening track as it gives the album a good kickstart with the blasting double bass on the drums. The outro is a piece of text spoken by our technician and co-producer Kristian Kipinoinen. This text is handled more closely in the song “1846 (The Ones Beneath)”.”

–Composed by Miska Lehtivuori, Ville Pekkala, Pekka Venho & Pekka Jokela
–Lyrics by Miska Lehtivuori & Ville Pekkala
–Mixed & mastered by Miska Lehtivuori

Horizon of Aeons is a gothic dark metal band founded in 2024, bringing together

seasoned musicians from the Finnish metal scene. The band consists of Miska Lehtivuori (vocals, guitar), Ville Pekkala (guitar), Pekka Venho (bass), and Pekka Jokela (drums). These members have a rich history of playing together in various bands (Fall of the Leafe, Ablaze in Hatred, Searing Meadow, Mormânt De Snagov, Leaflet, Jackie’s Land), which laid the foundation for their cohesive and powerful sound.

Horizon of Aeons’ musical influences are as diverse as the members’ extensive backgrounds in the metal scene. Each member brings a wealth of experience from their previous bands, contributing to the band’s unique sound.

Together, these musicians create a sound that is both intense and melodic, drawing from a wide array of metal subgenres. Their influences span across various styles, allowing them to craft a distinctive musical identity that is uniquely their own. This blend of experience and inspiration results in a sound that is both familiar and innovative, pushing the boundaries of gothic dark metal.

Themes and Lyrics

Horizon of Aeons’ lyrics delve deeply into the dark and complex concept of time and its relentless progression. Their songs often explore the infinite future contrasted with the finite past, creating a haunting and introspective atmosphere. The band masterfully weaves themes of existence and memory into their music, painting vivid pictures of a world where time is both a creator and a destroyer.

In addition, Horizon of Aeons touches on themes of cosmic forces, often using esoteric and mystical imagery. They explore the inherent inclinations of humanity, the seductive nature of sin, and the purifying power of darkness. This adds a layer of depth to their music, as they challenge conventional beliefs and embrace the darker aspects of existence. Overall, the band’s lyrics are a profound exploration of time, existence, and the human condition, offering listeners a journey through the infinite and the ephemeral.

Debut Release

Horizon of Aeons’ debut album titled Timeless Forms of Desolation is set to be released through Inverse Records in 2026. BLOSSOMS FALL Celebrate Release of New “La Alma” EP with Music Video for Title Track

Southwest Post-Hardcore Metal band BLOSSOMS FALL is back with an uplifting new post-hardcore metal music video entitled “La Alma” which talks about wanting to break self-destructive depressing cycles in life. The music video was directed by Jordan Theobald and it is the third music video taken from their brand new EP album La Alma which was just released on February 6, 2026 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced and mixed by Matthew Torres (Lights on the Coast, Cloudtrails, Wasted Potency) at Nightscape Recordings, and mastered by Kevin Thrasher (Escape the Fate, Machine Gun Kelly, Blink 182, Avril Lavigne) at Thrasher Productions.

“To me, the most challenging aspect of filming this video was playing on top of the vehicles” says lead vocalist Shay Raelynn. “I usually move around quite a bit, so it was difficult to not do so while staying balanced so that I didn’t fall off. The director and crew were easy to work with. They had a good vision for video and had a great eye for shots. Overall, it was a solid day of shooting.” Guitarist Matt Torres adds “This video ended up taking a different direction than the other two. With that said, we decided to make it completely different and felt that a black and white video would encompass the drab mood of the song. This video can be interpreted in multiple ways, a lot of the smashing of the cars can symbolize self-destruction and wanting to break depressive cycles in life. The narrative is mostly open for interpretation.”

La Alma by Blossoms Fall is a blast of beautiful chaos leading us to the edge of the cliff yet giving us wings…to the lip of the abyss armed with a blazing torch and a backbone of granite. Musically, the first thing we might notice is that drums are absolute thunder, produced to be a force in the forefront and earning its position with monster fills even in the verses. The guitar work is heavy with maximum crunch, like a fiery blast from the jaws of the dragon, the bass a “wall of pound” and the vocals cleverly patterned with textured growls and melodic tapestries. We are also given flashes of ethereal keys and tasty syncopation, demonstrating the band’s ability to not only show force but to add a flavor profile unique, devasting, and addictive as hell. As for the lyrics and messaging, we are introduced to enlightening prophesies for the downtrodden who find hope through hardship and familiar feelings of dislocation, isolation, and the realization we do not need masks. La Alma turns us inside out, exposing our tendency to wallow in our addictions, our trauma, obsessions, and guilt, only to finally gain the courage to let loose our souls in the search for our secret and bare inner truths. Artwork for the album and singles was created by Luis Escalara of Adelphia Studios. La Alma by Blossoms Fall was released on February 6, 2026 via Eclipse Records.

Finnish metal force LOST SOCIETY give fans another powerful taste of their upcoming album Hell Is A State Of Mind, set for release on March 6th via Nuclear Blast Records, with the brand-new single ‘Is This What You Wanted.’ An emotional and thrilling anthem, the track opens with a grand, cinematic intro driven by strings and acoustic guitars before exploding into a storm of raw, screamed-out emotion. Vocalist Samy Elbanna delivers a visceral performance that cuts deep under the skin, capturing both vulnerability and rage in equal measure. Accompanied by an intense music video, ‘Is This What You Wanted‘ visually underlines the song’s anthemic core and emotional weight, further setting the tone for what promises to be LOST SOCIETY’s most compelling release to date.

Frontman Samy Elbanna comments on the song: “This song comes from the feeling when you’ve worked tirelessly for years on your dream to come true and come to life, and you have these sudden realisations of how many important moments you’ve missed and how big the sacrifices have been that you’ve made along the way. A truly bittersweet feeling, because in the end of the day – they’ve been necessary to ensure your focus on your dreams. Nonetheless, it hurts. This comes from the heart and we hope it speaks to you and makes you remember that your loved ones would always have hoped for you to go after your dreams.”

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY Announce Double Album “Good God / Baad Man” + New Video/Single ‘Gimme Some Moore’ Out Now

American heavy metal legends CORROSION OF CONFORMITY will release their long-awaited new double album, Good God / Baad Man, on April 3rd via Nuclear Blast.

Much has gone down in the CORROSION OF CONFORMITY universe since their last album smacked us upside the head. Back in 2018, when No Cross No Crown dropped like a rock ‘n’ roll atom bomb, the tried-and-true CORROSION OF CONFORMITY line-up of Pepper Keenan (vocals, guitar), Woody Weatherman (guitar), Reed Mullin (drums), and Mike Dean (bass) was still going strong. Four brothers united in a decades-long history kicked off by a roving pack of teenage punks in Raleigh, North Carolina circa 1982.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s first four albums left a permanent mark on headbangers, longhairs, and street punks everywhere: Underground classics Eye For An Eye (1984) and Animosity (1985) followed by slightly more overground bangers Blind (1991) and Deliverance (1994). By the time CORROSION OF CONFORMITY carved off No Cross No Crown nearly a quarter century later, they were legends in their own time, revered by two generations of punk, metal, and rock fans.

Then tragedy struck: In January 2020, Reed Mullin left this earthly plane.

It was a devastating blow, both personally and professionally. How do you replace a brother? You can’t. All you can do is soldier on in his memory. Which is what the rest of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY did – until COVID-19 shut down the globe. Then Mike Dean decided to go his own way. It was an amicable split, but it left Pepper and Woody to contemplate their next move. They hunkered down at Keenan’s place in Mississippi, listening to all the music they love. Discharge. ZZ Top. Motörhead. Neil Young. Black Sabbath. You know: The good stuff.

They started writing. They didn’t stop; not for a long time. In fact, they composed a massive double album. “As we went on, we had such a crazy plethora of songs, it was almost like two different directions,”Pepper says. “We knew we had to split it into two different albums. Then we came up with this concept.”

The concept happens to be the title of the record. It’s called Good God / Baad Man. “Our producer, Warren Riker, kept calling it Dark Side Of The Doom,” recalls Pepper. “In my head, it’s a weird love letter to all things rock ‘n’ roll. We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.”

They brought in drummer Stanton Moore, who played on CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s 2005 album, In The Arms Of God. They brought in bassist Bobby “Rock” Landgraf, who did time with Pepper in New Orleans heavyweights Down when he wasn’t terrorizing the locals in his own band, Honky. “With a lot of these songs, we’re trying to make Reed Mullin proud,”Pepper says. “He was a badass, and a one-of-a-kind drummer. And the stakes were high.”

The band’s first preview of this mammoth offering comes in the form of lead single, ‘Gimme Some Moore‘. The track features backing vocals from Ministry’s Al Jourgensen and Madonna guitarist Monte Pittman. The hook of the song is, “Struggle is worth the fight/Leather, chains and spikes.” “Me and Woody wanted to write a song as if we were 17 years old again,” Pepper explains. “We even made a seven-inch for it.” Said seven-inch, released during their Mexico/South American tour last month, is an early ‘80s punk throwback, complete with a black and white photo collage and a Fear cover on the flipside. It’s a ripper. The video for ‘Gimme Some Moore‘ was filmed by Mike Holderbeast and directed by Pepper Keenan.
