Norwegian Black Metal bands Koldbrann and Tilintetgjort join forces on a new split single, featuring one new and exclusive track from each band.
 
The single marks the first new release from Koldbrann, since their Norwegian Grammy Award winning album ‘Ingen Skånsel’ (2024), and the first new release from Tilintetgjort, since their acclaimed debut album ‘In Death I Shall Arise’ (2023).

The split single will be released February 13, through Dark Essence Records, digitally and on a limited edition 7-inch vinyl, with track listing as follows:

1. Side A: Koldbrann – Den Klandestine Kjerne
2. Side B: Tilintetgjort – Eons in Oblivion

Koldbrann’s Mannevond and Tilintetgjort’s Sturt: comments on the background of this unique partnership:
 
“‘Den Klandestine Kjerne’ was among the first songs we made for the recordings of ‘Ingen Skånsel’, along with the album’s two opening tracks. But it became clear, quite early in the process, that we wanted to save this one for a special release. Enter TILINTETGJORT. Their 2023 debut album is one of the most interesting Norwegian Black Metal albums in years, and their rare approach felt like the perfect fit for our orphaned recording, so we are delighted that they wanted to join us on this split release, presenting their first new single since their debut. All while keeping the old underground split-tradition alive.”

Completing the release is the unsettling monotype cover art, courtesy of Indonesian visual artist Bahrull Marta, with layout and design by Salowe Vision.

The split 7” comes on white vinyl, including insert with lyrics, in a limited edition of 300 copies.
