ONSLAUGHT, who were inducted into the Metal Hall Of Fame in 2022 have long established themselves as one of the premier thrash metal bands globally.
Onslaught are without doubt the world’s most successful British thrash metal band – playing thousands of shows and major festivals in over 70 different countries as well as selling/streaming tens of millions of albums across the globe.
As the world settles back into post-Covid touring and with all of the increasing global tensions of the current day, Onslaught have decided the time is right to remind people of the band’s beginnings and the ferocious inception of Thrash Metal itself with a hard-hitting, powerhouse show that will be sure to melt faces in a full Thermo-Nuclear Devastation.
Band founder Nige Rockett comments:
“There’s something very ominous lurking in the depths of hell. The Old-School-Antichrist will be unleashed across the world in spring 2024!A new set list, new product, new videos, a whole new level of aggression! Onslaught 2024 – the nightmare continues…!”
Long-time bassist Jeff Williams adds:
“The ‘new’ Onslaught show will re-ignite the savage and brutal intensity that fuelled the hell-fires of the original thrash metal movement – We’ll see you all in the pit!”

Soundsrock Agency has a pleasure to announce the signing of Italian Rock Metallers CHIMERA to their roster family.
CHIMERA is a musical project made up by Andrea Dosseni (drums), Alex Bertoletti (lead guitar), Mathias Salini (rhythm guitar), George “Gio” Cazac (bass) and Stewie Morlock (vocals and frontman). Born in the summer of 2021, Chimera stand out for their strong, melodic sound and the use of Italian in the lyrics of their songs.
In 2022 the band began its journey with the first live shows in the area, receiving very positive responses, and in August of the same year they entered the studio to record their first EP “Apnea”, which was officially released in March of the following year. A work of seven songs that talk about darkness, anxiety, anger, pain, regret, melancholy, a sense of liberation and new beginnings. The success among critics and the public leads them to take the stage at the Ariston in Sanremo in September 2023 as winners of the Lombardy region at the famous national Sanremo Rock competition.
After releasing “måsstaden under vatten” to much acclaim in 2021 VILDHJARTA felt it was time to open a new chapter. “+ ylva +” is the next phase of that chapter.
HELFRÓ didn’t come out of nowhere. The duo’s icy tremolo picking and firestorm melodies sound like they were carved from the volcanoes and glaciers of their native Iceland. But their first album surprised even the most steadfast black metal acolytes with dueling vocals, punchy death metal riffage and bracing lyrics about loneliness and addiction.
Now, three years later, Helfró are back and as cold and unforgiving as ever. Their new album, Tálgröf, drills even deeper into the dark corners of the human psyche, while boring through intense rhythmic passages that fuse the extremities of traditional death metal with sombre, introspective lyrical convictions.
On lead single ‘Fláráð Fræði’ (which in English means “Deceitful Theories), blast beats erupt into a sickly and intrusive melody about the origins of evil.
Watch the chilling video for ‘Fláráð Fræði’, which was created by Guilherme Henriques.
“The lyrical theme of ‘Fláráð Fræði’ talks about a dark, sick entity that tries to learn of the origin of its evil, intrusive thoughts,” says drummer Ragnar Sverrisson. “But it only gets sicker the more it learns.”
Formed amidst the haunting landscapes of Iceland, HELFRÓ is a formidable force in the world of blackened death metal. With their relentless aggression, atmospheric soundscapes, and compelling songwriting, they have carved their own path in the metal scene.
The journey of HELFRÓ began when guitarist and songwriter Ragnar Sverrisson sought to bring his musical visions to life, Drawing inspiration from the bleakness of Icelandic winters, the mysticism of nature, and the chaos of the human experience. HELFRÓ’S debut album, aptly titled “Helfró“, was released in 2020, marking the band’s official entry into the world of extreme metal. With a relentless barrage of blast beats, crushing riffs, and haunting melodies, the album showcased their ability to seamlessly blend aggression and atmosphere.
Evolving with the advent of the sophomore album, TÁLGRÖF, listeners can expect even more ferocity as HELFRÓ dives deeper into death metal territory while not straying to far from the signature ice-cold climactic tremolo riffing notable of their previous work. Characterized by its ferocity, the new album also carries introspective and thought-provoking themes, reflecting the band members’ willingness to explore the depths of the human experience.
HELFRÓ is destined to leave an impact on the realm of extreme music, captivating audiences with their unique brand of Icelandic metal.

With full prog power, Hei’An are stepping up, bearing great news: The final video of their orchestral live studio sessions is out, and they are releasing their masterfully crafted EP Live at EastWest Studios!
Previously, the Slovenians already impressed us with the releases of their video singles for can’t get out of my skin (Live at EastWest Studios), embers (Live at EastWest Studios) and dreamer (Live at EastWest Studios), the first three of the four songs from their acclaimed album imago (2022) that got transformed and re-recorded at EastWest Studio 2 in Los Angeles. Now the soulful noises (Live at EastWest Studios) enters the world with an orchestral arrangement as the fourth and final video single to celebrate the release of the band’s brand new EP Live at EastWest Studios. Through the elegant use of strings and piano, Hei’An once again elevate their composition to the next level. Between impressive memorable melodies and strong post-metal passages, the track – crowned by the vocals of mastermind Matic Blagonič – takes us on an epic journey. Frontman Matic says about noises: “It’s also the last song in our set whenever and wherever we play live, and it’s one of our favorite tracks on the record, so having it as the final track in these EastWest sessions was a no-brainer.”
For the EP, Hei’An stopped by the halls of legends, the renowned EastWest Studios in Hollywood, to advance their musical genius. The studio saw recordings of some of the most famous music of the last fifty years, from Frank Sinatra to The Rolling Stones. Hei’An’s adventure in LA produced four resounding tracks with fantastic orchestral sounds – and the sonic result can now be heard everywhere: Live at EastWest Studios. Does metal work as a soundtrack? Yes, and greatly so!
But that’s not all, because the band of course wants to bring their music to the people, served hot: After their successful performances at the 70000TONS OF METAL Cruise 2023 in the Caribbean and Metaldays in Slovenia, Hei’An will perform at the world-famous progressive rock and metal festival ProgPower in the Netherlands on October 07.
For all those who can’t make it, the sonic and visual encounter with noises (Live at EastWest Studios) and all three other videos from the live studio sessions can be enjoyed on all relevant streaming platforms and on YouTube:

About Hei’An
Originally a one-man project by Slovenian musician Matic Blagonič, Hei’An has evolved into a veritable collective of keen artists striving to bring Slovenian metal into our heads and hearts – successfully so! The band, who likes to think of their output as Post-Progressive-Metal, impressively manages to balance out both heavy sounds and tender emotions blossoming across a field of arcane post-metal-esque landscapes.
The band is blending elements from a variety of different genres and subgenres in their music, including progressive metal-esque beats and rhythms, post-metal-esque chord progressions and ambiental parts, black metal-esque tremolos and blast beats, metalcore-esque choruses and riffs etc., while creating and cultivating their own unique sonic direction, packed with both intimacy and huge-sounding segments, putting the emotional value and impact of their music above all else. The name Hei’An is a pseudonym for their frontman, bandleader and songwriter Matic Blagonič, while also representing the band as a whole, which is formed by Matevž Počič (guitar), Peter Smrdel (bass), Aljaž Novak (backing vocals) and Gaj Bostič (drums).
