Love songs come in many forms, but only Electric Callboy could turn one into this. Last week, the band releases their newest single “The Way You Are“, one of the most surprising tracks from their upcoming album TANZNEID, arriving this week on August 7. What begins as an irresistibly catchy late-’90s-inspired boy band love ballad quickly transforms into one of the heaviest songs Electric Callboy have ever written. Blending soaring pop melodies with crushing deathcore brutality, “The Way You Are” is a fearless celebration of musical extremes, proving once again that no one blurs genre boundaries quite like Electric Callboy.
The accompanying music video starts as a nostalgic late-’90s boy band fantasy before taking a gruesome turn into a blood-soaked nightmare. Romantic, disturbing and unmistakably Electric Callboy.
Electric Callboy will release their long-awaited new album TANZNEID this week on August 7, 2026, featuring fan favorites “Hypercharged“, ” Let The Good Times Roll”, “Revery“, “Still Waiting”, “TANZNEID“, “Elevator Operator“, “RATATATA” and “The Way You Are”. The celebrations kick off with the official Album Release Party at Berlin’s Huxley’s Neue Welt, featuring an Electric Bassboy DJ set, before continuing at Escalation Fest 2026, where the band will perform the new album live for the very first time. Fans can also expect the Loveboat, a full-size TEKKNO TRAIN, special guests and a huge celebration at Berlin’s Wuhlheide.

Good times are indeed ahead: Electric Callboy officially releases their newest single “Let The Good Times Roll”, featuring legendary punk rock group The Offspring and unmistakable vocals from Dexter Holland. Blending the band’s signature mix of crushing riffs, massive pop hooks, electronic flourishes, and tongue-in-cheek energy, the track serves as the latest preview of their forthcoming album TANZNEID.
The song arrives alongside a wildly entertaining music video filmed in Los Angeles that doubles down on everything fans have come to expect from Electric Callboy: over-the-top humor, high-energy performances, and plenty of surprises. The clip features memorable cameos from comedian and television personality Howie Mandel, actor and comedian Brian Posehn, and metal icon John Goblikon, who each embrace the band’s absurd universe with enthusiasm.
Electric Callboy on their new single and the collab with Dexter Holland and The Offspring:“The Offspring have been one of the bands that shaped us from the very beginning. Their music was part of our lives long before Electric Callboy even existed, so having Dexter on this song honestly feels surreal. ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ is everything we love about loud, fun and energetic music, and getting to share that with one of our biggest inspirations makes this a really special moment for us.”
Dexter Holland adds:“When Electric Callboy sent us the track, it immediately put a grin on our faces. It’s energetic, unpredictable and doesn’t take itself too seriously – exactly the kind of spirit we’ve always loved about punk and rock music. I had a blast being part of ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ and can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Electric Callboy will be releasing their long-anticipated new album TANZNEIDAugust 7, 2026. Everything leads to Escalation Fest 2026, where the band will bring the new full album to the stage for the very first time. What follows is a full-scale Electric Callboy experience: an Electric Bassboy DJ set with brand-new remixes, the Loveboat, special guests, a full-size TEKKNO TRAIN and a huge hometown-style celebration at Berlin’s Wuhlheide.
As part of the World of TANZNEID, Electric Callboy is launching a global scavenger hunt unlike anything they have done before. The mysterious Pink Boxes seen throughout the “Let The Good Times Rollfeat. The Offspring” music video will begin appearing at festivals, in cities and at unexpected locations around the world, with fans uncovering clues through the band’s channels, festivals the community and surprise appearances across the globe. Every box contains exclusive rewards, but a select few hold the ultimate prize: a Golden Ticket granting the finder and a guest complimentary access to Electric Callboy headline shows worldwide for life. Each discovered box can be registered on the interactive World of TANZNEID map, allowing fans everywhere to follow the hunt as it unfolds in real time.
The new track comes just in time for the start of the European festival season, kicking off this week with the major festivals Rock amRing/Rock im Park, where Electric Callboy is one of the main artists. While the band continues to bring the TANZNEID World Tour to audiences across Europe, Japan and Australia, the journey ultimately culminates at Escalation Fest – a landmark event featuring Paleface Swiss, Alestorm, Heavysaurus, The Hardkiss and more artists yet to be announced.

Electric Callboy are nearly impossible to categorize, and that’s exactly the point. Since forming in Germany in 2010, they’ve grown into a global force, driven by genre-defying hits like “Hypa Hypa,” “We Got The Moves,” and “RATATATA” (with BABYMETAL). Their 2022 album TEKKNO amassed hundreds of millions of streams worldwide, cementing their place at the forefront of modern heavy music.
With TANZNEID, the band push their sound even further, sharpening their signature mix of pop hooks, techno energy, and heavy breakdowns. Written in between relentless touring, across backstage areas, buses, and brief studio sessions, the album carries a raw sense of urgency, capturing the band at their most instinct-driven and immediate.
Built on contrast, Electric Callboy’s strength lies in blending extremes into something that feels seamless. On TANZNEID, that balance reaches a new level of precision, pairing high-impact energy with a more refined approach to songwriting and dynamics.
TANZNEID finds Electric Callboy at their most focused and fearless, driven by momentum, creative freedom, and a clear refusal to stand still.
Electric Callboy announces their long-anticipated new album TANZNEID, set for release on August 7, 2026 via Century Media Records. At the same time, the band joins forces with global gaminghit game Brawl Stars for their explosive new single and video “Hypercharged”, which also introduces the new character “Damian” to the Brawl Stars universe.
Alongside the announcement, Electric Callboy kick off the TANZNEID pre-order with a range of exclusive collector’s editions. The release will culminate in a major celebration at Escalation Fest 2026, where the band will perform the new album for the very first time, turning the festival into a one-of-a-kind live premiere incl. an Electric Bassboy DJ Set with new remixes, a Loveboat, multiple guests besides Evil Jared and Krogi, an actual TEKKNO TRAIN and the performance at the Wuhlheide in Berlin.
Electric Callboy on their new single and Brawl Stars collab:“We’ve always been massive gaming fans, so teaming up with Brawl Stars felt like a perfect match from the start. The track came together naturally, and we loved seeing it take shape as Damian’s theme.Damian fits our sound like he was built for it. Heavy, explosive, and impossible to ignore. It’s pressure, groove, and madness all at once. We love it!“
Electric Callboy comment on the upcoming album: “After our album TEKKNO and all the worldwide touring, TANZNEID took everything out of us. It was intense, exhausting, but also exactly what we needed after all the incredible moments we shared during that era.
With TANZNEID, we wanted to create something special, for our fans and for ourselves. Every track surges with energy. We took what we loved about TEKKNO and pushed it further, adding new elements, new sounds, and new extremes. Heavy beats, explosive drops, and moments that hit you right in the chest. The last singles RATATATA and Hypercharged were just the beginning. Now it’s raw, loud, and alive, in every pulse, every scream, every melody.
We wanted to match our music with your adrenaline, to create a record that pulls you onto the floor, makes your heart race, and doesn’t let go.
TANZNEID is built for the stage. So turn it up, lose yourself, and dance like no one’s watching.“
Electric Callboy are in the middle of their global TANZNEID World Tour, which will continue in North America this April. With various festival appearances across Europe as well as tour schedules in Japan and Australia, the TANZNEID celebration will be everywhere, reaching its peak at their own Escalation Fest, together with Paleface Swiss, Alestorm, Heavysaurus, The Hardkiss and more to be announced..

What happens when rhythm becomes a force of nature? Germany’s most dynamic export, Electric Callboy, answer that question with “TANZNEID”, their brand-new single that turns dance envy into a full-body experience and sets the stage for their biggest global chapter yet: the TANZNEID WORLD TOUR 2025/2026.
“TANZNEID” captures the moment when music takes complete control – when legs start moving before your mind even catches up. Blending elements of modern metalcore with electronic and phonk-inspired club sounds, the track reflects Electric Callboy’s trademark approach: fusing heavy music with dancefloor energy in a way that feels both playful, catchy, and powerful. The accompanying music video, once again directed by Schillobros., turns that momentum into pure spectacle – a full-on celebration of rhythm that only Electric Callboy can deliver.
Electric Callboy comments on the new single and world tour: “With TANZNEID, we wanted to capture that wild tension between heavy energy and pure dancefloor madness. Turning our music into a party where everyone belongs. Playful, catchy, and powerful — that’s TANZNEID.”
The release marks the beginning of the next major era in Electric Callboy’s story: the TANZNEID WORLD TOUR 2025/2026, making the world move and turning every city along the way into one giant dancefloor.
Following a streak of international sellouts and viral milestones, the band now takes their unrivaled live show to Europe, the UK, North America, Japan, and Australia, bringing the Electric Callboy experience to some of the world’s biggest stages.

In just a few years, Electric Callboy have risen from local heroes to one of the most talked-about forces in modern heavy music. Their gold-certified anthems “Hypa Hypa”, “We Got The Moves”, and “Pump It”, along with their chart-topping, gold-certified #1 album TEKKNO, have defined a new era of genre fusion – combining metalcore, EDM, and tongue-in-cheek humor into a sound entirely their own.
Viral hits like “Everytime We Touch” and “RATATATA” (with BABYMETAL) expanded their global reach, amassing hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. In 2025, Electric Callboy continued to push boundaries with “Elevator Operator”, “Revery”, and their high-voltage cover of Sum 41’s “Still Waiting” featuring Frank Zummo.
Now, with “TANZNEID” and a string of sold-out arenas on the upcoming TANZNEID World Tour, the band enters its next chapter – turning every show into a worldwide celebration of movement, connection, and pure release, cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting and unmissable live acts of today.
ELECTRIC CALLBOY drop a surprise for fans: an explosive cover of SUM 41’s iconic anthem “Still Waiting”, featuring none other than Frank Zummo on drums. This powerhouse collaboration brings the raw energy of the original into the band’s own chaotic and fun-loving world, captured in a high-voltage performance across summer festivals.
The band shares: “Sum 41 has been with us since our youth, and ‘Still Waiting’ was one of those songs we grew up with. When Frank Zummo played with us at festivals in Australia, we jammed it live—and the crowd went insane. From there, the idea was born: let’s record it our way!”
The video for “Still Waiting”, produced by Schillobros, shows pure sweat and adrenaline—a live celebration of connection between band and fans.
Meanwhile, Electric Callboy gear up for their massive 2025–2026 headline arena tour, with multiple SOLD-OUT shows across Europe, including London’s Alexandra Palace, Frankfurt’s Festhalle, and Hamburg’s Barclays Arena.
With viral hits like “Hypa Hypa”, “We Got The Moves”, and “RATATATA” (feat. BABYMETAL), plus recent singles “Elevator Operator” and “Revery”, the band continues to dominate charts, festivals, and arenas worldwide.
Get ready—Electric Callboy are just getting started.
