TERAMAZE have released three new live rehearsal performances on YouTube, marking the first recordings featuring new keyboardist Luke Rosten and completing the five-piece lineup the band has been working towards for years.
These are not polished studio productions. They are honest, live rehearsal recordings captured as the band prepares for ProgPower USA, offering fans a genuine look inside the creative process and the work that goes into building a live performance.
At a time when AI-generated music is becoming increasingly common, these videos stand as a reminder that nothing replaces real musicians performing together in the same room. Every note is played live, every performance is authentic, and every moment reflects the chemistry that only comes from musicians pushing each other to be better.
This is Teramaze exactly as they are—focused, uncompromising, and ready for the next chapter.
London metalcore outfit Metasoma have shed their hard-rock veneer to emerge as a lethal, technical heavy metal machine. Their upcoming new EP, “Core,” marks the first statement from a solidified international unit, pitting British rhythmic weight against the uncompromising metal heritage of the Polish and Romanian underground.
The band have premiered the new music video “Omen” ahead of the release of new EP “Core,” which is out 2nd August 2026.
“Omen offers a taste of the evolution of our new sound, while also serving as a collage of sounds that portray the chaos we are living through as a society, particularly war and everything that comes with it.” – Metasoma
To anchor this pivot, the quintet enlisted Filip Halucha (Heinrich House Studio), the engineer behind the tectonic sounds of Behemoth and Vader, to helm the EP lead single, “Downfall.” The remaining tracks, produced by Dawid Konrad Rydz, capture a band operating at a new level of surgical precision. Together, they have forged a sound that fuses Alter Bridge’s melodic craftsmanship with the unyielding, rhythmic brutality and groove of Pantera.
Frontman Vlad’s vocal delivery is a study in controlled chaos; a caustic, edge-of-sanity rasp that collides with the technical dual-guitar attack and a concrete-heavy rhythm section. Conceptually “Core” is a pessimistic hellscape, a sonic mirror held up to war, propaganda, and the false righteousness of modern reality. This high-velocity energy is tempered by a discordant, playful homage to System of a Down, proving Metasoma can be cerebral without sacrificing their low-end groove.
The band says, “There is a specific kind of numbness that comes when unfortunate events happen in quick succession; these songs are our way of fighting that anaesthesia. Whether we are digging through the attic of mixed childhood memories or scattering the ashes of a toxic relationship, the goal is the same: to learn from the mistakes of our forefathers and do better. We’ve turned these struggles into sonic paintings, but we leave the final interpretation to the listener’s own sensitivity.”
Metasoma is a battle-tested collective that has earned its keep on the road, supporting heavyweights including Vader, Sanctuary, and Illusion, while sharing stages with Nocny Kochanek, Kabanos, and Skarlett Riot. Having headlined London’s legendary The Underworld and commanded the number one slot on Hard Rock Hell Radio charts, Metasoma returns to the heavy circuit operating at a tier where technical complexity meets purely visceral impact.
Recorded between Poland’s BaRock Entertainment Studio and Es Studio in London, the new EP “Core” was tracked to ensure every rhythmic blow landed with maximum commitment. Metasoma are no longer mirroring life; they are projecting a warning. This is a pure demonstration of resilience and the start of a much heavier, more honest era for the band.
“Core” is released 2nd August 2026.

Italian heavy metal band HELLMETALL return with their new single “Afrika“, offering another glimpse into their forthcoming studio album, “Mgla” due out on September 4th, 2026, via Rockshots Records. Following the release of “Gemona Btg. Doesn’t Exist Anymore“, the band continues to explore the album’s thematic depth through music that blends classic heavy metal with thrash influences and a strong narrative approach.
Rather than portraying a geographical or historical account, “Afrika” uses its setting as a symbolic landscape where conflict, survival, and human instinct intersect. The song reflects on the recurring nature of violence and the fragile balance between civilization and primal impulses, reinforcing the conceptual thread that runs throughout “Mgla“. Musically, the track combines driving riffs, dynamic rhythms and melodic passages, remaining faithful to HELLMETALL‘s identity while expanding the atmosphere of the upcoming record. Speaking about the song, the band comments:
“With ‘Afrika’ we wanted to tell a story that goes beyond a specific place. The setting becomes a metaphor for human nature, where fear, violence, and survival emerge in their purest form. It’s one of the songs that best represents the atmosphere and message behind ‘Mgla’.”
Produced as part of the sessions for “Mgla“, “Afrika” further showcases HELLMETALL‘s songwriting approach, combining aggressive energy with melodic arrangements and lyrics inspired by history, literature and reflections on the human condition. The single builds on the direction introduced by the band’s previous releases while revealing another facet of the album’s broader narrative.
With “Mgla“, HELLMETALL continue to develop the musical identity they have refined over the years, balancing traditional heavy metal roots with modern production and storytelling. Each song contributes to a wider conceptual journey where personal experiences, historical references, and symbolic imagery converge into a cohesive listening experience.

Italian horror metal pioneers DEATH SS proudly announce the release of their brand-new single “Pandemonium”, a powerful new work that opens an exciting chapter in the band’s history while paving the way towards their landmark 50th anniversary celebrations in 2027.
“Pandemonium” will receive its exclusive world premiere on July 17, 2026, as a limited 7-inch vinyl, released exclusively during DEATH SS’ headline performance at Italy’s renowned Luppolo In Rock Festival in Cremona. Beginning July 24, the single will become available on all major digital platforms, while the vinyl edition will reach record stores via Lucifer Rising/Self.
Marking the band’s long-awaited recording return, the 7-inch release features the title track “Pandemonium” alongside the exclusive B-side “Candlelight”, available exclusively on vinyl and omitted from the digital release.
With “Pandemonium”, DEATH SS once again channel their unmistakable artistic vision, transforming apocalyptic imagery, esoteric symbolism and occult references into a striking metaphor for today’s world. Demons, broken seals and the Great Beast become powerful symbols of war, fanaticism, mass manipulation, collective anger and the profound spiritual crisis affecting modern society.
As always, DEATH SS invite listeners to explore multiple layers of interpretation beyond the song’s narrative. Beneath its dark imagery lies a reflection on human consciousness and the urgent need for inner awakening, reinforcing the symbolic and philosophical approach that has distinguished the band throughout its entire career.
With “Pandemonium”, DEATH SS reaffirm their status as one of Europe’s most influential and visionary horror metal acts, embracing evolution while remaining true to the identity that has inspired generations of fans for nearly five decades.

At Noble Demon, we have always believed that music is ultimately about people. While Shaun Glass‘s legacy as a guitarist, songwriter, and pioneer of Chicago metal will continue to inspire generations, the greatest legacy he leaves behind is the countless lives he touched with his generosity, kindness, and unwavering belief in others.
The tribute below was written by Troy Dixler on behalf of Shaun’s family. We hope you’ll take a moment to read it, remember the remarkable man behind the music, and, if you’re able, help honor the legacy he cared about most: his son, Maddux.
On July 1, 2026, the world lost Shaun Glass, a legendary musician who spent over four decades shaping the Chicago metal scene through Terminal Death, Sindrome, Broken Hope, SOiL, Dirge Within, The Bloodline, and most recently Repentance. He shared stages with some of the biggest names in the genre and left behind music that fans still play on repeat.
But if you ask anyone who actually knew Shaun, the music was never the most impressive thing about him.
Shaun’s wealth was never in a bank account, it was in every room he ever walked into. You could know him for five minutes and walk away feeling like you’d known him your whole life. He introduced bands, friends, and strangers to chances they never would have found on their own, not because it benefited him, but because that’s just who he was, and he never once asked for anything back. Ask around the metal scene and you won’t find one person who claims to be his best friend. You’ll find fifty. That’s not an exaggeration. That was just Shaun.
On May 31, 2026, Shaun suffered a stroke brought on by undiagnosed high blood pressure. He spent nearly a month in the hospital on life support, surrounded the entire time by people who truly loved him, before passing peacefully on hospice care. Shaun’s insurance is pending, and anyone who has ever dealt with a hospital bill knows what even a few days in intensive care can cost. A month on life support has left behind an overwhelming amount of medical debt and final expenses.
Every donation goes into the Maddux Glass Irrevocable Trust. Shaun’s medical and final expenses are paid from it first, but the heart of this fund is Maddux, giving him the education, stability, and future his father always wanted for him. That future is protected in this trust, permanent, and something no one can ever take from him.
If Shaun ever made you feel like family, connected you to someone, or picked up the phone when you needed him, this is the moment to give back a fraction of what he gave so many of us for free.
Shaun Glass made thousands of people feel like they mattered. Now it’s our turn to make sure his son knows he mattered too.
