Finnish melodic death/black metal band Se, Josta Ei Puhuta are set to release their fourth studio album, Syvyyden portit on saatava auki, on 29 May 2026 via Inverse Records. The second single ‘Varis’ is unleashed today and its accompanying music video can be seen below.

Modern metal collective HumanKind have released a deeply emotional piano version of their single “The Darkness I Own,” accompanied by a brand new official video. Stripping the song down to its emotional core, the new rendition highlights the vulnerability and introspective weight behind the original track, offering listeners a more intimate perspective on one of the band’s most powerful songs.

While the original song – released in May 2025 via ROAR here – gained attention for its dynamic blend of heavy modern metal and raw emotional intensity, the piano version reveals another layer of the song’s meaning. With its minimal arrangement and haunting atmosphere, the track places the focus squarely on the lyrics and the emotional journey at the heart of the song, emphasizing themes of inner struggle, self-reflection, and personal growth.

HARSH Sign with Fireflash Records + Announce New Album “Feels”, Out July 3rd

HARSH are the new rising stars within the hard rock scene. The band from Paris revives their traditional sound with a modern twist and catchy melodies. Following the success of their debut album “Out Of Control” (2022), and more than 300 shows played, the French band is ready to release their second, new album called “Feels”, on July 3rd, 2026 through Fireflash Records (WOLF, FURIES, ROCK JUSTICE a.o.) and will carry their rock into every heart they encounter. “We’re thrilled to join forces with Fireflash Records to make Harsh’s next chapter more exciting than ever“, comments the band. “We had a lot of things to put into music, a lot of stories and feelings. NUKEM Launch Vicious New Single ‘Into the Kill Zone’, Feat. Rob Cavestany

California has always been fertile ground for thrash metal, leading the charge with some of the genre’s most legendary acts. San Diego’s NUKEM follows in the footsteps of thrash metal’s founding fathers, producing the kind of time-tested, neck-breaking thrash that invokes deep nostalgia while still sounding fresh and modern.

The thrashers are now launching the latest aural assault from the offering, “Into the Kill Zone,” which features a guest solo by DEATH ANGEL shredder Rob Cavestany. The song can be found along with a lyric video at THIS LOCATION.

Nukem guitarist Steve Brogden comments, “This was one of the earlier songs we had written for this album and it came together rather fast and easy. My original working title for it was ‘DA01’ because I felt it had some heavy influence from our brothers in Death Angel, so it only felt fitting to ask Rob Cavestany to lay down a guest solo! Rob came out swinging and he knocked it out of the park!

“The song’s actual topic came a book of the same name written by a retired police officer. He interviewed other officers on the weight of drawing their weapon in the line of duty and having to make split second decisions that could mean life or death to the officer or the ones they are sworn to protect. A pretty heavy topic that I don’t feel is touched on very often.”

The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming sophomore full-length, ‘The Grave Remains,’ which is due on April 10, 2026 via Redefining Darkness. Pre-orders are now live in the U.S. HERE and the rest of the world HERE.

Nukem is a Thrash metal force from San Diego, California, that delivers an honest, old school thrash attack. Formed in 2012, Nukem released their 2016 debut album “The Unholy Trinity,’ which was mixed & mastered by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static X, Dethklok, White Zombie) and was released via Sleaszy Rider Records out of Greece.

Nukem had entered the studio in 2024 once again with Ulrich Wild to work on our second album. Ten songs of pure molten metal! Finland’s bestial black-death metal trio HOC EST BELLUM have signed with Time To Kill Records for the release of their debut full-length album. Conceived as an act of ruthless sonic terrorism, the record stands as a militant manifestation of black-death metal, unleashing its assault like a formation of dive bombers tearing through the sky and leaving devastation in their wake.

The album embraces a warm, organic sound that evokes tangible and hostile landscapes, rejecting the sterile and harmless production approaches that characterize much of today’s metal. Instead, it embodies a spirit of pure extremism and uncompromising violence, channeling raw intensity into a work that feels immediate, physical and destructive.

Burning with Luciferian hunger and baptized in nuclear horror, HOC EST BELLUM rose from the ashes in 2022. Based between Helsinki and Turku, the power trio unleashes a savage blend of grinding and bestial black/death chaos, channeling a sound that is both primitive and devastatingly direct. Their music thrives on raw aggression and ritualistic intensity, forged in an atmosphere of apocalyptic dread, satanic hostility and visions of mankind’s imminent extinction.

The band’s first release, the aptly titled “Demo 2023”, introduced this extermination squad to the underground with a display of feral brutality and uncompromising violence. The recording quickly established HOC EST BELLUM as a force devoted to the most extreme and unrelenting expressions of black/death metal, delivering warlike hymns steeped in filth, blasphemy and destructive fervor.

The band’s debut full-length will be released by Time To Kill Records in 2026. The album continues on the path of the bestial onslaught paved on the aforementioned demo, while adding to the relentless attack elements of dark atmospheric passages seeping with malevolent and poisonous aura.
