HARSH Release New Single & Video for ‘Back To Life’

HARSH are the new rising stars within the hard rock scene. The band from Paris revives their traditional sound with a modern twist and catchy melodies. Their songs and live shows strike with theatricality, paired with a rare sensitivity that forges a strong bond with the audience. Born from a deep friendship, the band succeeds in the bold challenge of combining musical power with emotional sincerity.

Today, HARSH release their brand new single „Back To Life“ and kick off the pre-order for their upcoming new album “Feels”. „This song tells the story of someone struggling to feel again after going through the darkest moments of his life. Through a contrast between melancholic verses and a luminous chorus, it explores emotional numbness, healing, and support. A powerful and intimate track about learning to feel again“, comments the band.

“Feels” will be released on a CD, ltd. blue-marbled-opaque VINYL and digital!

Pre-Order the ALBUM here: https://save-it.cc/fireflash/feels

Following the success of their debut album “Out Of Control” (2022), and more than 300 shows played, including their tours along with a.o. THE NEW ROSES, ANVIL and CHRIS HOLMES (ex-WASP) across Europe and the UK, the French band is ready to release their second, new album called “Feels”, on July 3rd, 2026 through Fireflash Records (WOLF, FURIES, ROCK JUSTICE a.o.) and will carry their rock into every heart they encounter.

Hannes Braun, lead singer of KISSIN’ DYNAMITE, mixed and mastered the new album. A perfect match. “Working with Hannes Braun is kind of a dream for us. We love Kissin’ Dynamite’s music and sound and Hannes knows exactly how to get the best of each of our tracks. It’s always great and smooth to work with him”, adds Albert (Singer and guitarist). The overall result speaks for itself and gives the listener a good time, which is important nowadays more than ever. “For us, music is about expressing our feelings. It all comes down to creating a strong bond with the listener, on and off stage. This means everything to us.”

The lyrics on “Feels” are generally about life and things the four members experience or go through, about stories they hear and want to share. “We explore a variety of feelings on this album, simple ones such as falling in love or breaking up, but also mixed emotions that are harder to express, and are often disregarded. Here we’re talking about guilt, the need to find your place and your identity, helping someone going through grief, but also what binds us together: friendship.“

The band has huge plans and they have the songs. The energetic “Fuel To The Fire“ and the cover of the 80s classic “Maniac“ are already out and the new single and video “Back To Life“ has just been released. “Our next goal is to make “Feels” as unforgettable for others as it is for us, and we can’t wait to meet our community around the world.“

Extravagant Rock Project JESUS CRINGE Drops Video Single ‘Unhinged Byproduct’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 5, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: JESUS CRINGE. Leave a comment

Emerging from the avant-garde shadows of the Belgian space-art rock scene, JESUS CRINGE today releases its second single, “Unhinged Byproduct”, a satirical, surrealist odyssey taken from the forthcoming album, due via Epictronic Records. More info coming soon!

Where most artists try to seem larger than life, JESUS CRINGE goes further — and stranger. “Unhinged Byproduct” opens on a vision of excess and self-destruction, the artist reimagined as a consumer product rolling off a factory assembly line. Hangover-dazed and hypnotized by television static, the protagonist takes the form of a mass-produced doll — caught in a claw machine, rejected by a disappointed couple, packaged as shrink-wrapped meat in a supermarket fridge. Just before the heat is turned up, he escapes. The finale reveals what started it all: a flashback to the night before, the artist dancing wildly beside two robot vacuum cleaners crowned with disco balls.

It’s absurdist. It’s precise. It’s unmistakably JESUS CRINGE.

“A time of excess, self-destruction, and downfall — a satirical and surreal vision of the artist as a consumer product.”
— JESUS CRINGE

“Unhinged Byproduct” is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Previous release: Disastrology: Watch / Stream

About Jesus Cringe

JESUS CRINGE is a Belgian cinematic space-art rock project — reborn from the ashes of 22 for Silicon Alone — built around intense visual worlds and philosophical storytelling. Rooted in pre-rock tradition, the project replaces the conventional guitar/bass duo with violin and baritone saxophone, creating a sonic identity that defies easy categorization. Themes of altered states, identity, and human consciousness in a digitalized world run throughout the work.

After years of meticulous underground development, JESUS CRINGE caught the attention of Epictronic Records, leading to an official signing in early 2023. The debut album unfolds as a vast narrative soundscape — part dystopian fable, part personal confession — drawing from sci-fi cinema and avant-garde rock traditions. Singles including “Only Dark Matters” and “In Every Terms” have showcased the project’s haunting lyricism and sophisticated arrangements, wrapped in visually striking music videos exploring disconnection, memory, and existential tension.

The project has earned international recognition, with features in Metal Shock Finland, Tinnitist, MHF Magazine, Headbangers News, and Prog Rock Journal, alongside airplay on Unsigned Radio UK, WTSQ FM, Nu Rock Radio, Diverse World Music Radio, and Rockers and Other Animals.

More than a band, JESUS CRINGE is a hyperrock experience — standing at the frontier of modern art-rock through immersive visuals, conceptual narratives, and an uncompromising artistic vision.

SARCASM Release Second New Track ‘Essence of Existence’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 5, 2026

Swedish death metal outfit Sarcasm have previously announced their brand new full-length Lifeforce Omnibound, which will be released 29th May via Hammerheart Records. Today, Sarcasm are releasing the second offering ‘Essence of Existence’ which is now streaming via the label’s YouTube channel.

Pre-order Lifeforce Omnibound here: https://sarcasm.lnk.to/lifeforceomnibound

Sarcasm comment on the track: “The opening track of Lifeforce Omnibound. With full blast and other-worldy energy, this song tells the essence of the actual theme of the album. A perfect explosive opener.“

Sarcasm is one of those Swedish death metal acts that’s difficult to pin down. Labels like “Swedeath” and “melodic death metal” only tell part of the story, the band has deliberately avoided those safe categories. Instead, Sarcasm embraces a broad spectrum of metal while remaining uncompromisingly extreme.

The current quartet behind Lifeforce Omnibound bears little resemblance to the band’s early ’90s incarnation, which released several demos through 1994, recorded a debut full-length, and then split up until 2015, when that first album finally saw the light of day. Now on their sixth album, Sarcasm pushes the boundaries yet again. The combination of intense speed, complex riffing, and genuine catchiness cements them among the genre’s top tier.

The eight tracks on Lifeforce Omnibound capture Sarcasm at their highest level, both musically and in terms of production. While the effectively straightforward four-minute opener “Essence of Existence” hits hard and fast, much of the record leans into greater complexity. With an average runtime of over five minutes per song, the material allows room for structural twists and detailed touches that sustain interest throughout repeated listens. The album was once again mixed and mastered by renowned producer Lawrence Mackrory.

Sarcasm is currently a four-piece, and due to time constraints, Anders will no longer participate as a recording member, though he will remain with the band as a live member going forward. Since the band’s resurrection, only one member from the earlier era has remained: vocalist Heval Bozarslan. Exploring otherworldly themes once more, Heval does not seek credit for the lyrics; according to him, the words were channeled from a higher force, delivering answers across eight distinct topics. Ethereal and metaphysical themes have long been part of Sarcasm’s identity, but this time the lyrics are less metaphorical and more direct. Over the album’s 40-minute journey, doorways open, revealing a remarkable range of atmosphere and depth that few bands can achieve.

Track-list:
1. Essence of Existence
2. Altering the Perception
3. The Reward of Adversity
4. Crumbling Mind Edifice
5. Plunged Into a Paradox
6. Wayward Fragments of Infinite Divisibility
7. A Concept Older Than Time
8. Empirical Life Metaphysical

CD bonustracks:
9. Be Dead
10. Onslaught Without Mercy (Damien Cover)

Line-up:
Heval Bozarslan – Vocals
Peter Laitinen – Guitars
Philip Borg – Bass
Jesper Ojala – Drums

SLYDER SMITH to Release New Single ‘Killing The Machine’ on 10th April + Announces New Tour Dates

UK rock singer-songwriter Slyder Smith returns with his explosive new single “Killing The Machine”, released on 10 April 2026 — a hard-hitting, thought-provoking track that tackles the growing fear and reality of technology overtaking human connection and control.

Preorder here: https://slyder-smith.ffm.to/killingthemachine

Blending gritty guitars, anthemic melodies, and his trademark raw lyricism, “Killing The Machine” channels both urgency and unease, capturing the tension between modern dependence on technology and the instinct to resist it. The track stands as one of Slyder’s most socially charged releases to date, reflecting a world increasingly dominated by screens, algorithms, and artificial noise.
“This one’s about that disturbing feeling that we’re losing control,” says Slyder. “We’ve built something that’s meant to serve us, but it’s starting to feel like it’s shaping us instead. It’s about fighting back — holding onto what makes us human.”

Produced by Robin Wynn Evans (Manic Street Preachers, The View, Sam Brown, Dodgy) at TPot Studio, the single showcases a bold evolution in Slyder’s sound — combining a modern sonic edge with the timeless energy of classic rock. Evans’ production brings clarity and punch to a track that is both sonically powerful and lyrically resonant.

Killing The Machine follows a string of acclaimed releases including “Plan To Fail” and “Nobody’s Listening”, further cementing Slyder’s reputation as an artist unafraid to confront uncomfortable truths – from self-doubt and addiction to isolation and societal disconnection.

The release also comes as a limited edition numbered CD bundle. Including a signed CD, signed poster & lyric sheet featuring 2 tracks recorded live at a sold-out Forfar 10 Bar show last summer.

The release coincides with a run of UK live shows:
10th April – Bannermans, Edinburgh
1st May – Audio (w/Bonifide), Glasgow
24th May – 10 Bar, Forfar
11th July – Rock Bottom, Falkirk
12th July – Trillians, Newcastle

Now fronting a powerful four-piece band featuring Brian Kerr (guitar), Kevin Skelly (bass, backing vocals), and John McAvoy (drums), Slyder continues to build momentum with electrifying live performances that have already seen sold-out shows and glowing praise from the UK rock press.
“The new band is sounding awesome in rehearsal; moving to a 4-piece was a great move that brings much more depth to the sound & we genuinely can’t wait to put it in front of a live audience”

Following the success of his critically acclaimed debut album Charm Offensive (2022), Slyder Smith remains a compelling voice in modern rock — delivering music that is fearless, honest, and deeply relevant to the times we live in.

EMIL KÁRLSEN Celebrates Spring with New Uplifting Single ‘Giđa ávašta’ with Elina ljäs

Emil Kárlsen joins forces with up-and-coming Northern Sámi singer-songwriter Elina Ijäs from Gáivuotna and Guovdageaidnu. The single is the magical and uplifting “Giđa ávašta”, which means “one senses spring,” marks the first collaboration between the two young Sámi artists. Kárlsen will release his first solo debut album Nannámii September 25.

It is no coincidence that “Giđa ávašta” is set for release on April 3rd. March and April are when the season of giđđadálvi (spring-winter) truly begins to fill polar winter-weary souls with optimism again. It is not only the time when the sun has returned, but also when it gently starts to warm the land and melt the snow.

The enchanting song has a strong metaphore: the return of the sun represents the return of the Sámi language – especially in the coastal area of Gáivuotna/Kaivuonon/Kåfjord. Both Emil and Elina have family there, and that is where the assimilation of the Sámi people almost was complete. Rays of sunlight are now reaching further down between the tall mountains, and the ice where Sámi words have been frozen inside is finally melting, after a long winter lasting for several decades.

Emil explains:

– This is a positive and empowering song for everyone who needs motivation through their struggles. Giđa ávašta is a very symbolic song with many layers in the way it tells our story from the past, while upliftingly leading us toward the present and onward into the future.

LISTEN TO THE SINGLE HERE

Elina Ijäs is an emerging artist from Guovdageaidnu and Gáivuotna, Norwegian Sápmi. Growing up in a Sámi community, yet with roots from the coastal areas of Sápmi where colonization and Norwegianization were among the harshest, her family – like many others – was deeply affected and nearly lost their language and identity.

Emil Kárlsen was born and raised in the multilingual community of Omasvuotna/Omasvunon/Storfjord near the borders between Norway, Sweden and Finland. He infuses his artistic practices with his family’s story and the history of his region. Having grown up in a heavily Norwegianized part of the coastal Sámi community, he has been a notable voice of reclaiming language and revitalizing the Sámi culture, through his own music combined with the traditions of yoiking.

Nannámii is out September 25

The long-awaited upcoming solo debutalbum from Emil Kárlsen is out this September – Pre-sales have started!

Danish Metal Warriors VANIR Unleash New Album “Wyrd”, Out Now

Swords, helmets and shields can be heard in the distance once more, as Danish warriors VANIR return with their new album, “Wyrd”. The record revolves around the timeless theme of fate – spun from war, from the choices of humankind, and from the consequences that have shaped our world. As a mirror of our own time, where decisions carry the weight of future destinies, “Wyrd” invites the listener into stories of downfall and triumph, of lives lost and victories won.

The visual core of the album is brought to life by artist David Troest, whose dramatic cover depicts the Winged Hussar, one of history’s most fearsome war machines. The scene is the legendary Battle of Vienna in 1683, where the Polish cavalry forced the Ottoman Empire to retreat, halting its expansion into Europe. This clash of civilizations forms the backdrop for the song “Never Surrender”, told through the eyes of those who defended Vienna from invasion.

But “Wyrd” is more than just a historical album. It is a musical journey into humanity’s struggle with power, destiny, and the eternal conflicts over survival and dominion. Vanir combine melodic death metal with epic storytelling, reminding us of that history always repeats itself, and that the choices we make today hold the seeds of tomorrow’s battles.

The album has been mixed and mastered at Demigod Recordings, ensuring a powerful and razor-sharp sound that does justice to the weight of its themes.

As one of Denmark’s most prominent melodic death metal bands, Vanir has forged its own take on epic for over a decade now, with history-themed melodic death metal, merging crushing riffs with tales of fate, battle, and myth. With “Wyrd”, the collective once again sharpen their steel and march onto the battlefields of history.

“Wyrd” was released on LP, CD and digital formats on 03.04.2026, via Mighty Music.
