This year, the Braunschweig thrashers HEADSHOT are celebrating their 30th anniversary. For this purpose, the band is currently working at full speed on an anniversary album, which is to be released before the end of the year!

For this, selected songs from the debut “Brain At Risk” (1995) and the follow-up album “Emotional Overload” (1998) will be completely re-recorded and recorded on CD for the first time with frontwoman Daniela Karrer, who, as we know, only joined the band in 2008.

But that’s not all: a proper anniversary show is planned for 25 November at the KufA Haus in their hometown of Braunschweig, where there will be some surprises of course. More info soon!

CHARITY KILL Unleash Debut EP “Garden of Earthly Horrors”

From New York City emerges CHARITY KILL, the solo electronic darkwave dance project from artist Ashley Dalle (ex-Wax Girls, ex-Trash Music)! CHARITY KILL is now pleased to release its first ever EP, ‘Garden of Earthly Horrors,’ which is now streaming everywhere today! Listen via your preferred streaming service at THIS LOCATION.

CHARITY KILL creator Ashley Dalle comments:

“I am so excited to finally be sharing ‘Garden of Earthly Horrors’ with all of you. ‘Garden’ is a project I started in late December 2022-early January 2023, and was born out of a desire to create a conceptualized piece of artwork, thematically linking existential horror to the beauty of nature and its systematic destruction by capitalist forces.

“Garden of Earthly Horrors’ instrumentally explores tranquility, panic, and heartbreak through the lens of darkwave dance music. Much of ‘Garden of Earthly Horrors’ was inspired by my childhood love of freestyle and dance music, and the new school of darkwave dance music being released these last several years, as well as local NYC darkwave DJ dance events events.

“The completion of ‘Garden’ in June of 2023 was my first foray into an entirely digital production, formerly having recorded directly to tape and then digitizing. Early reviews for ‘Garden of Earthly Horrors’ have referenced science projects connecting mushrooms to electrodes, and the sensation of environments and soundscapes being created around them.”

“Orchid” is taken from CHARITY KILL‘s upcoming album, ‘Garden of Earthly Horrors,’ which was digitally released on all platforms on August 18, 2023.

The artwork for ‘Garden of Earthly Horrors’ was created by photographer Gretchen Hargrove and can be found below along with the tracklisting.

Tracklist:

  1. Daisy (Intro) (03:03)
  2. Hydrangea – (03:02)
  3. Marigold – (02:25)
  4. Orchid – (04:00)
  5. Wildflower – (02:29)
  6. Amaranth – (03:42)
  7. Carnation (Outro) – (03:10)

Full album running time: 21:51

Charity Kill is the solo debut electronic darkwave dance project from New York City musician Ashley Dalle (ex-Wax Girls, ex-Trash Music). After a long hiatus from punk and goth bands, she began churning away synth melodies in the dark at home. Charity Kill will stir up your deepest desires and lay them all out on the dance floor.

The new EP, ‘Garden of Earthly Horrors,’ is a call and response to the overwhelming font of externalized emotions. The EP plays with melody as a vessel for the listener to be one in with Dalle’s emotions as she dances through her garden of romantic longing and existential dread.

MUTUAL HOSTILITY Share ‘Reality Lens’ Guitar Playthrough Video

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 21, 2023
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: MUTUAL HOSTILITY. Leave a comment

American death metallers MUTUAL HOSTILITY have revealed a new guitar play-through video for the single “Reality Lens”. Watch it HERE.

MUTUAL HOSTILITY released their new album, “Inhuman Anguish”, in June via Lethal Scissor Records.

Following the good feedback received for the “Sacred Propaganda” EP, MUTUAL HOSTILITY waste no time continuing their attack and return with their first full-length. The band have thankfully made no great changes to their juggernaut sound. Dynamic, utterly crushing, immediately memorable, the band’s death metal stick to its guns without de-escalating the branded frenetic motion and interminable aggression.

Drawing inspiration from bands such as Suffocation, Deicide and Gorguts, MUTUAL HOSTILITY create a sound distinctly modern but with an appreciation for the old school death metal legends, all executed with near surgical meticulousness.

Tracklist:

1. Exordium
2. Reality Lens
3. Unknown Echoes
4. Lie In Wait
5. Myth Through Time
6. Faces In The Walls
7. Black Vault
8. Biorhythm
9. Denouement

MUTUAL HOSTILITY is a death metal band formed in January of 2020 in Northeast Ohio, USA. Merging many metal genres into the fold, Adam Rogers (vocals), Dan Gates (guitars & bass) and Eric Frabotta (drums) offer a blend of hostility and intensity.
Most of 2020 was spent writing and recording at each others home during the pandemic shutdown. Soon after the band released a lyric video for the song “Pyramid of Hate” which gained some momentum and eventually led up to the EP titled “Sacred Propaganda” being released in November 2020 on the Cult of Parthenope record label.
In 2022 nine new tracks were written and recorded for the first full-length album.

Line-up:

Dan Gates – Guitars, Bass
Adam Rogers – Vocals
Eric Frabotta – drums

Fotis Sotiropoulos commented about the song: “Ride the Thunder”, an epic title for an epic song, the joy of every true metal warrior! It is far more than that though. It’s about the hard effort, the power of will, self-awareness and moderation (the most important Delphic precepts that is), the intoxication of glory, the constant battle between reason and emotion, the ceaseless pursuit of time and the ephemerality of victory.

Fortress Under Siege:
Tasos Lazaris – Vocals
Fotis Sotiropoulos – Lead Guitars
Themis Gourlis – Rhythm Guitars
George Georgiou – Keyboars
St.evens Kopanakis – Bass
Dimitris Kapoukakis – Drums
