Norwegian black metal tyrants 1349 have signed with Season of Mist for a new record deal that will see label representation for the band worldwide.
Regarding their signing, the band comments: “We are currently in the early creative stages of our new art offering and we are exited to confirm that we have extended our agreement with partners Season of Mist – this time handling the release worldwide.”
1349 are embarking on a headlining Japanese tour which begins on March 10th. The tour sees the band brining their ferocious black metal across Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, before playing in the UK. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below. The Japanese tour dates see 1349 being supported by Norwegian prog pioneers ARCTURUS.
1349 is touring in support of their new album, ‘Massive Cauldron of Chaos’. The album, which has been called a “another career-defining release which will surely confirm their place among black metal’s more promising groups.” (Sputnik Music), and a “musical, versatile effort that should earn 1349 a high degree of respect going forward” (Metal Injection) is streaming here.
