Jazz Veterans BUSHMAN’S REVENGE are in celebratory mood this year as they  celebrate their twenty Year Anniversary with a new album and a tour. But with their appearance at the Oslo Jazzfestival coming up, they are giving everyone who cannot be there to see them play live, an insight into the new album with a video for the track “Last Cup of Zorro”.

When Even Helte Hermansen on Guitar,  Rune Nergaard on  Bass, and Gard Nilssen on Drums got together to form BUSHMAN’S REVENGE, the Norwegian trio set out on a journey of exploration and experimentation that would lead to the creation of a sound that can only be described as their own.

Winning plaudits from both fans and critics, BUSHMAN’S REVENGE have honed their art and become a band that makes full use of the vital energy found in the Rock genre, but they take it further by giving in to the freedom that comes with the use of jazz elements.

Their new album, and the band’s eleventh full-length, is titled “All The Better For Seeing You”, and marks a new peak for BUSHMAN’S REVENGE, showing just how good this band is in the studio.

With artwork by Per Spjøtvold,  “All The Better For Seeing You”  will be released on Is It Jazz? Records on the 8th September in CD, Digital and Green Vinyl formats.  Tracklisting is as follows:

BAD WOLVES Reveal Music Video for Second Track ‘Legends Never Die’

BAD WOLVES refuse to follow. Instead, the platinum-certified, 5x #1 Hard Rock radio- charting Los Angeles band circumvent convention by stretching the boundaries of hard rock with earthquaking heaviness, enigmatic experimentation, and enthralling melodies. The group–John Boecklin (drums), Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz (lead vocals), Doc Coyle (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Kyle Konkiel (bass, backing vocals)— are starting a new chapter on their own terms with their fourth full-length album DIE ABOUT IT due November 3 via BETTER NOISE MUSIC. Nodding to inspirations as diverse as The 1975 and Meshuggah. BAD WOLVES challenged themselves to experiment and redefine their sound on DIE ABOUT IT with trusted collaborator Josh Gilbert (As I Lay Dying) who co-produced the album alongside BOECKLIN and DL. With a story that emphasizes the sarcastic statement pointed towards those defending their own beliefs into absurdity, wrong or right, BAD WOLVES believe if you’re gonna cry about it, then you might as well DIE ABOUT IT. Pre-order options including digital download, CD, cassette and three vinyl color variants are live now at https://badwolves.ffm.to/dieaboutit.

“We definitely challenged ourselves to experiment, but we maintained a heavier edge,” notes BOECKLIN. “We spent a lot of time making sure these songs weren’t all the same, which was important to us. We tried to push the possibilities of what you can do with heavy music. This is as fresh of a start as you can get on your fourth album.”

“Nobody is against any idea in the studio,” says DL. “That’s the most beautiful thing about this. There’s no limitations. We went to the far ends of the really soft and the extreme. We made it a point to separate ourselves from the past and make this our own.”

Following the release of DIE ABOUT IT’s opener and lead single, “Bad Friend,” on July 21, BAD WOLVES today (August 18) have unveiled a hypnotic new track “Legends Never Die” today across all digital platforms. Stream/download it HERE. Watch the “Legends Never Die” music video via YouTube below.

“We wanted to write a song for our heroes, whether that’s our children, mothers, fathers or the likes of, sending their stories into eternity, forever igniting spirits and imaginations of those who follow,” DL shares. “With every retelling, their legacies resonate forever. This song reminds us that true greatness can never be extinguished. Legends NEVER die.”

DIE ABOUT IT Track Listing:

  • Intro
  • Bad Friend
  • Die About It
  • Savior
  • Hungry For Life
  • Legends Never Die

#“Psycho Thunder Tour” with The HU, Bad Wolves and Zero 9:36

BAD WOLVES arrived with the rarity and the force of a lightning bolt in 2018. This collective of tried-and-true musicians rallied around an unconventional vision for heavy music, grafting rafter-reaching hooks to pit-splitting riffs and mind-bending rhythms with a penchant for unexpected twists and turns. Their full-length debut, Disobey, bowed in the Top 25 of the Billboard 200 and delivered a platinum single and a gold single. On its heels, they showed no signs of stopping with N.A.T.I.O.N. [2019]. However, Dear Monsters kickstarted another season in 2021 as “Lifeline” netted their sixth #1 at Active Rock Radio. Reaching a critical high watermark, Billboard hailed the latter as “Bad Wolves’ most diverse and far-reaching album to date,” and Hysteria raved, “The band has served up something truly monumental.” Nearing 1 billion total streams, they sold out headline shows on multiple continents and toured with everyone from Papa Roach and Hollywood Undead to Volbeat.

21st-century rock vanguards FROM ASHES TO NEW have been making a splash in the rock and nu-metal scene with their new concept album BLACKOUT, released July 28 via BETTER NOISE MUSIC. Set as a prequel to their 2016 debut album DAY ONE, BLACKOUT mirrors the state the world was in amidst the global pandemic during which it was written of unrest and angst with a pre-apocalyptic mindset. Its 12 tracks encapsulate FROM ASHES TO NEW’s explosive blend of hard rock, hip-hop, electronic and alternative music.

Produced by vocalist Matt Brandyberry, alongside longtime collaborators and producers Grant McFarland and Carson Slovak¸ BLACKOUT featured FROM ASHES TO NEW’s fifth-ever Top 10-charting rock radio single, “Hate Me Too,” (#8) and their current radio single “Nightmare” is steadily rising on the Active Rock charts. August 11, FROM ASHES TO NEW revealed a new music video for the recently shared album track “Monster In Me,” which New Noise Magazine described as” show(ing) a new side of the band that puts a fresh spin on the sound that broke them onto the scene–one that is emotive, angsty, and relatable to those who come from all walks of life.” Watch the “Monster In Me” music video directed by Jensen Noen (Falling In Reverse, Bring Me The Horizon) streaming below or directly via YouTube, below.

Australian ACCIDENTAL PRESIDENT Sign With Wormholedeath & Drop ‘Bittersweet’ Single & Video

Posted by tarjavirmakari on August 20, 2023
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: ACCIDENTAL PRESIDENT. Leave a comment

Prepare to be captivated by the superb sound of ACCIDENTAL PRESIDENT, the Aussie alt-rock sensation with a theatrical flair. We are thrilled to announce that the band has recently inked a deal with Wormholedeath for their highly anticipated album, “Was It Meant To Be This Way?”, scheduled for release on October 6th, 2023.

Formed in 2015, Accidental President (AP) has risen above lineup changes and life’s challenges during their early development, demonstrating their resilience and unwavering dedication to their craft. Their debut album in 2020 showcased a socially aware blend of Alt/Hard rock infused with influences from Goth & Metal, leading to widespread recognition with heavy rotation on independent radio and glowing reviews from critics. Earning accolades for their dynamic live performances, including impressive support slots for Reckless Love & Crosson in Sydney, Accidental President has garnered praise from fans and critics alike.

Throughout the Covid pandemic, the band harnessed their creativity, exploring diverse cover songs on TikTok and YouTube, which ultimately served as the catalyst for their upcoming album, ‘Was It Meant To Be This Way?’. This new opus aims to establish an authentic connection with rock enthusiasts worldwide, resonating through its powerful musicality, striking aesthetics, and thought-provoking socially conscious lyrics. Their early promotional single ‘After the Sun’ soared to Number 2 on Australia’s AMRAP Metro Charts and maintained its position in the Top 10 for three consecutive weeks.

Accidental President’s lineup comprises the exceptional talents of Dahlia Neville on Main Vocals, Dave Ben Lee on Guitars/Vox, and Jimmy James on Drums. Together, they bring a harmonious blend of energy and raw passion to the stage.

“Was It Meant To Be This Way?” is a gripping 12-track Alternative/Hard Rock masterpiece that delves into the complexities of the modern world and psyche. The album artfully balances ear-catching ‘4-minute’ blasters, tailor-made for radio and social media consumption, with harder-edged and more progressive tracks, crafting a cohesive and compelling experience for the discerning Rock/Metal Album listening community.

At the heart of “Was It Meant To Be This Way?” lies a profound theme that ponders the course of the last two centuries. The exponential growth in knowledge, technology, and wealth has undoubtedly led to progress in health, living standards, and the collective understanding of our responsibility to respect the world we inhabit and our fellow human beings. Yet, paradoxically, this period has also witnessed a surge in death, destruction, oppression, and persecution as the relentless pursuit of profit continues to dominate. The album’s central question challenges us all: “Was it meant to be this way?” – By Accidental President

  1. Was it meant to be this way?
  2. Ready Kid? (Explicit)
  3. Bang Bang (Cover Version)
  4. Bitter Sweet (Explicit)
  5. Super Hero
  6. What U Wanna
  7. Dollar Signs
  8. After the Sun
  9. Paranoia
  10. Unity
  11. Save Her
  12. More to Life

In anticipation of the album release, Accidental President is proud to unveil their emotionally charged first single and music video, “Bittersweet.”

“Bittersweet” is a brooding, uptempo portrayal of the turbulent journey through the Anger stage of grief. The song captures the intense reflection and realization of the gravity of an unfair and dehumanizing situation, evoking the power of reclaiming strength and taking ownership of one’s mind, body, and soul. It stands as an anthem of resilience, channeling pain into a healthy, transformative force. Having been blinded by lies, the protagonist of “Bittersweet” bravely confronts the uncomfortable truth.

Buy and stream the single at https://orcd.co/bittersweetsingle

“Was It Meant To Be This Way?” positions Accidental President as an unstoppable force: be prepared to experience the band’s atmospheric gothic and intricate metal vibes!
