Live Report: JASMINE CAIN’s Album “Attitude is Everything” Release Party in Nashville

Jasmine Cain arrived in Nashville via Sturgis, South Dakota in 2003. Raised in a country lifestyle amidst bike culture, she remains true to her roots, playing the bike circuit. She delivers her vision doused in Rock n Roll! She and her band blend hard and heavy rock with metal, and pop elements, creating a sound all her own. She has won more than 30 music awards and recently released her 8 th studio record titled Attitude is Everything.

On March 16th, I went to Jasmine Cain’s album release party just outside of Nashville, at a little bar called Shooters. In true Jasmine Cain fashion, bikers and regular patrons alike were present to show support for their hometown heroine.

As soon as Jasmine took the stage, she honored her fallen friends by having the crowd toast in their honor, showing that not only is she a badass onstage, but also within her soul, the crowd obliged.

She incorporated many songs from her discography, including Nightingale, Highway Prophet, and Be Brave. Every song was getting the same reaction from the crowd, they wanted MORE!

Jasmine and her band also performed the entire new album and from front to back, it was nothing less than spectacular! The title track from her newest record, Attitude is Everything, was a personal favorite of mine for the night. Jasmine’s music is so multi layered that it’s impossible to put her into any sub-genre, simply meaning that when you go to her show, be ready for kick ass Rock n Roll from someone who has earned her place among the very best out there.

Head Bitch in Charge, also off her new record had the crowd screaming for more and then, in pure Jasmine Cain style, she pulls out a Pantera cover of Cowboys from Hell! It isn’t easy to pull that off, and sound great, but then, everybody isn’t jasmine Cain! I let her know after the show that her version rivals that of Pantera’s, her reply…Nobody is as good as Pantera!

Ukraine’s Premier Death Metallers HELL:ON to Release Seventh Full-Length Album “Shaman” on May 17th

HELL:ON, Ukraine’s leading Atmospheric Death Metal band, announces the highly anticipated release of their seventh full-length album, ‘Shaman,’ scheduled for May 17th, 2024, via Archivist Records.

“This album had to be released two years ago, but a full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia has put our entire life on hold. Nowadays, due to our Armed Forces, we try to go on living and creating. I am sure that the spirit of this struggle was reflected in this work. It is hidden somewhere among the strings of the guitars, in the echoes of shamanic tribal vocals and flashes of ritual fires.” – says the band

Musically HELL:ON continuing the same line as the previous. Same Atmospheric death metal with tribal and oriental elements. Just more tribal percussions, throat singing and acoustic instruments this time.

Hell:on was formed in early 2005 in Zaporizhzhia, Eastern Ukraine. Hell:on plays death metal with oriental and tribal elements. The band’s lyrics generally deal with mysticism, philosophy, and anti-religion. During the recordings of previous albums, the band has worked with Andreas Kisser, Jeff Waters, Andy LaRocque, and Marek Pajak.
In 2019, the band was nominated as the Best Ukrainian Metal Act and has shared the stage with Rotting Christ, Kreator, Marduk, Napalm Death, etc.

Finnish melodic metal band Dead End Finland released the first single ‘Innocent’ from the upcoming sixth studio album. However, an as-yet-unnamed album will be released by Inverse Records at a later date.

The band comments:
“Innocent” tells a sensitive story about the encounter between two people. In the song, you can also hear what Dead End Finland is basically about.

The song starts with just a piano and during its duration of just under four minutes, it grows towards the end to such proportions that you rarely hear anymore in contemporary music. The hundred-track song with choirs and orchestrations is, in its epicness, Dead End Finland’s most impressive production ever. Nina Kuronen features as a guest in the song.”

Dead End Finland is a melodic metal band from Helsinki founded in 2007. The lineup, which has remained unchanged since the beginning, has enabled the band’s sound to develop into its current rich form. Dead End Finland is difficult to place into any specific genre, and in the songs you can hear tones from classical music to death metal. During the years, the band’s style has become even more bombastic and melodic. The compositions have gained more depth and insight. The upcoming sixth album takes the band in a more modern direction, although Dead End Finland’s recognizable sound and basic elements are still easily heard.

Timea Göghova, the versatile artist renowned for her dynamic range of musical prowess, is delighted to present the music video for the evocative single “Shadows.” This mesmerizing track is a standout from her critically acclaimed album “Wild Storm,” now available globally via Epictronic.

“Shadows”- the longest track from Timea Göghova’s Ballad Album “Wild Storm” via Epictronic is like a hymn. One special thing about this video is, that one can see the pianist Carolina Melisa Gonzalez for the first time in a video clip. The Argentinian piano player and songwriter recorded all the piano tracks on the ballad album, Wild Storm. Another special thing is the feature on the track: Guitar played by Alex Scholpp, the guitarist of Tarja Turunen. Her talent has gained recognition through appearances on TV shows like Sztárban Sztár Leszek and The Voice of Germany, as well as winning the South German Finals of Emergenza Band Contest.
