BROMSEN Unleash ‘Read About It’ Single & Lyric Video

Berlin-based indietronic duo BROMSEN is proud to unleash their 4th single “Read About It”, the track is taken from their highly anticipated debut album, “Brothers in Mind“, due for release via Epictronic. The album is scheduled to be available later this year.

The inspiration behind the song lies in the artists who wholeheartedly dedicated themselves to their craft and lived their art. They created incredible music and art, yet often faced personal struggles. Regrettably, they are no longer with us, leaving behind their music and stories for us to cherish and learn from. Alongside renowned figures like Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain, who have inspired countless individuals, the song also pays tribute to lesser-known artists who met a similar fate. These unsung heroes, whose art never reached the wider public, are also acknowledged in the song.

Bromsen, formed in Berlin, Germany, consists of Richard and Karlo Bromsen, who have known each other for more than 20 years. In the mid-2000s, they performed together with their previous band, “The Pampelmuse,” at numerous indie rock clubs in Berlin. However, the band disbanded in 2006, just before what was expected to be their breakthrough. Many years passed before Karlo and Richard decided it was time to reignite their passion for music and pursue their dreams once again.

Bromsen has made a triumphant return to the music scene, showcasing their unique blend of synth wave elements and guitars. Their distinctive sound combines a punchy wall of sound with raw and soaring vocals that compel listeners to groove along and sing along. Their first three singles have received critical acclaim from the indie press, and they have garnered airplay on indie radio stations across North America, the UK, France, Brazil, and other regions.

UK-based alternative progressive rock quartet TEMPLES ON MARS are excited to announce the release of their latest single and accompanying music video. With their thought-provoking lyrics and genre-bending sound, the band dives deep into the profound questions of existence and the fleeting nature of life in their newest offering.

Titled Smile, the band’s poignant new single delves into the concept of living each day as if it were your last. The track presents a musical exploration of existentialism, urging listeners to contemplate how they would spend their remaining time if they knew it was limited. With powerful vocals, gripping instrumentals, and evocative melodies, the single draws listeners into an introspective journey, inviting them to reflect on their own lives and priorities.

Accompanying the single is a visually stunning music video that enhances the song’s introspective theme. Directed by the band’s bassist Darren Carikas, the video captures the band’s artistic vision and complements the song’s exploration of life’s profound questions.

The band’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of progressive rock is evident in Smile. About Temples on Mars
Formed in January 2018, TEMPLES ON MARS are an alternative progressive rock band from London (UK) featuring James Donaldson on guitar/vocals, Gerald Gill on guitar, Daz Carikas on bass guitar and Dean Gibb on drums.

Temples on Mars released their self-titled debut album on 6th April 2018 via Dutch record label Primordial Records, which was recorded by award winning producer Paul Matthews at Kingston Road Studios and mastered by Sebastian Braunreuther at Mix Berlin in Germany. “Temples on Mars” received glowing reviews worldwide and the release was supported by a UK headline tour and accompanied with various international support slots and festival appearances at MacMillan Fest (UK), Progpower (Netherlands), Planet Rock Winter’s End (UK), Euroblast (Germany) to name a few, followed by a headline tour of South Africa. During this period the band’s sound was compared by the media to the more accessible likes of Muse and Nothing More with undertones of proggier acts like Karnivool, Mastodon, and Tesseract.

Temples on Mars’ second offering, “Parallels V.1” EP, was recorded at YouTube Space in London and released on July 3rd 2020 along with several accompanying videos also shot at YouTube Space during the recording of the EP. “Parallels V.1” is a self-produced collection of 5 alternative versions of tracks chosen from the debut album which has seen the band developing a darker, more electronic side of their sound.

Work has recently been completed on Temples on Mars’ next full-length album working-titled “The Plot to Murder Time”. Written and recorded at various studios between London and Los Angeles during the height of the global pandemic in 2020/2021, the new album sees Temples on Mars further define their own sound by pushing the more accessible and electronic elements to the forefront whilst continuing to dial up the overall heaviness. Due to covid restrictions limiting drum recording, Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Guns n Roses) played the drums for a number of tracks.

The first single from the new album “Sleepwalking into Extinction” was released on 20th May 2022 and has arguably been the bands most successful release to date peaking at number 15 in the Radioscope Top 40 Rock Charts in James’ home country of New Zealand.

2022 has largely been the restart of the post-covid live music environment and Temples on Mars have returned to the live stage with some notable appearances at Download Festival UK, Radar Festival UK, along with a mix of headline and support slots.

“We started working on this record in 2020 During the pandemic shutdown. I felt like we had to get outside of the box with this one. I’ve been sober almost 5 years now and there are many songs on this record that are a reflection of it. I just wanted to connect with the listener and pull them into what I was dealing with but also shed some light on overcoming personal adversity. With the passing of Wayne in March, I felt lost. Where do I go? I knew We had this record we were all stoked about. Waynes influence is all over these songs and in my opinion his playing on this album is next level. It’s the only right thing to do to honor him and all our hard work and release it. I just want to share with the world what we have worked on the last 3 plus years,” says Bobby Amaru.

Drowning Pool is reuniting with singer Ryan McCombs, this will mark their first tour back together.

“I’m excited as hell to be rocking out with Ryan McCombs back at the helm with us in Drowning Pool and touring together again with our brothers in Saliva! We hit it off as friends right out of the gate playing our first show together at WrestleMania 18 in 2002, and with Ryan on Ozzfest 2002. We’ve all had so many great festival shows and tours together throughout the years. Looking forward to sharing the stage once again with Saliva, having Ryan McCombs back with us in Drowning Pool, forever celebrating the memory of Dave Williams and Wayne Swinny, making new insane tour memories and kickass shows across the country. Can’t wait to perform and hang out with all of our friends and family at the rock shows! C’mon out and have a great time with us!” says Drowning Pool guitarist C.J. Pierce.

Ryan McCombs adds, “Drowning Pool and Saliva are two bands that not only have a rich history of their own but they’re two bands that have a great history of sharing the road together. This being my first extended run of dates back with my Drowning Pool family,I am horns-up and hells-to-the-yes that it’s also with Saliva! People that I respect as musicians and performing artists as well as real human beings that I consider friends.. Along with all that, having both Adelitas Way and Any Given Sin is a surefire recipe for a killer night, every night. From the first note to the last.”

Adelitas Way will be releasing a full length album, and a new hard rock single “Dig Deep” at the start of this tour.

“We are ready to put on locked in, high energy performances for the fans, and excited to have fun on the road with our friends in Any Given sin, Saliva, and Drowning pool, this is going to be great!” says Rick Dejesus, vocalist of Adelitas Way.

Each band will be conducting their own on-site VIP prior to doors. These VIPs will be sold on a separate platform and WILL NOT include a ticket to the show. All VIPs will need to purchase a show ticket for entrance.
