PRIME CREATION have announced the release of their new album “Tell Freedom I Said Hello”!
On Prime Creation’s third album “Tell Freedom I Said Hello” the lyrical theme is dystopian. However, it’s not a conceptual album; each song is standalone and inspired by books/movies and the history of the world itself. The songs often have a melodic but also melancholic touch that binds the music and the lyrics together in an intriguing and compelling way. Guitarist Robin Arnell wrote all the music for the album, inspired by many different bands and artists. The music itself has taken a slightly different approach from the bands two previous album and has gotten even heavier without infringing on the melodies and harmonies.
“Tell Freedom I Said Hello” will be released on August 25, 2023 as Digipack CD, Yellow / Gold / Red Splatter Vinyl limited to 300 copies worldwide and digital streaming/download format.

Voice of Passion and Agony is the ambitious debut album by theatrical metal band ENDLESS EXAM from Finland.
The album is an eclectic cross-section of Endless Exam’s style of offering energetic, fierce and sensational metal. On the predominantly mid-tempo album, the listener is offered a variation from one mood to another.
The lyrics cover a vivid spectrum of emotions, from wondering about the aburdity of the world to bottomless sadness. How to deal with the voices inside your head and discern from them what is true while your faith in everything is being tested? The songs nibble these themes with explosive power accompanied by a rhythm section driven by strong female vocals.

About THE OBSESSED: THE OBSESSED was formed in the late 1970s in Potomac, Maryland by legendary guitarist Scott “Wino” Weinrich (SAINT VITUS, SPIRIT CARAVAN). The earliest line-up consisted of Wino, bassist Mark Laue, guitarist John Reese, and drummer Dave Flood. In 1983, Wino took over vocal duties and the band became a three-piece to record the Sodden Jackal EP, not long after they disbanded. At that time, a German label, Hellhound Records, and the booking agency that had signed SAINT VITUS, released The Obsessed, originally recorded in 1985, prompting Wino to reform THE OBSESSED. After multiple line-up changes, the band signed to Columbia Records in 1994 to release their third and final album, The Church Within. Despite highly acclaimed reviews, THE OBSESSED would breakup following the release, seeing Wino forming SPIRIT CARAVAN (then SHINE) and other projects. In September 2011, THE OBSESSED returned to the stage at Roadburn Festival with The Church Within‘s legendary line-up (featuring Wino, Greg Rogers, and Guy Pinhas). Wino announced the full-time return of THE OBSESSED in March 2016 and the band official signed to Relapse Records. In 2017, THE OBSESSED unleashed Sacred, the band’s first studio album in over twenty years, further pushing the band into the annals of heavy metal history. After a few years on the road, the line-up stabilized around Brian Costantino on drums, Chris Angleberger on bass, Jason Taylor on guitar, and Wino at the helm.

About WITCHROT: Formed in Toronto in 2018, WITCHROT was founded by Lea Reto (vocals) & Peter Turik (Guitar). After some international press over band disputes, betrayals, and a temporary break-up that made them the most famous band in the world (for a day…), the band re-formed with a new line-up. Together they recorded their debut full-length Hollow (2021) and this year’s Live In the Hammer. More recently, Nick “Nido” Dolphin and Patrick Sherrard have joined the band on bass and keys, respectively. For this tour, the special guest drummer is Myles Deck of Cauldron.

About THE DEATH WHEELERS: Heavily inspired by the aesthetics and ethos of bikesploitation movies such as The Wild Angels, Werewolves on Wheels and Psychomania, THE DEATH WHEELERS seek to glorify this unsung era of movie making through their sordid sounds. Taking musical cues from rock’s greats such as DAVIE ALLAN, THE CRAMPS, MOTORHEAD, THE STOOGES and GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, THE DEATH WHEELERS perpetrate the tradition of heaviness by making zero compromises when it comes to laying down the groove. Through their bare bone, stripped down, jammy approach of their very own brand of sleaze n’ roll, this instrumental Canadian quartet pushes the listeners to their deepest, filthiest carnal/sexual desires.
Finnish old school heavy rockers SIXGUN RENEGADES will release their ass kicking third album this August. ‘Keep Hangin’ On’ is the last single from the album and it was written in the middle of the worst global pandemic. The song is dedicated to everyone that didn’t give up but fought for the appreciation of culture.
Sixgun Renegades, Hard Rockers hailing from Espoo, Finland are making a comeback! After two strong albums before the pandemic, the band is now releasing their third album in August 2023. SGR combines elements from Hard Rock and old school Heavy Metal without looking too much in the rearview mirror. You can hear the influences from Van Halen, Judas Priest and Thin Lizzy, but it’s the band’s own sound that thrives. Strong riffs, blistering guitar solos, amazing vocals and melody hooks bring you to the journey you have been waiting for. It’s time to hit the pedal to the metal and enjoy the ride!
Keep Hangin’ On” was written in the middle of the worst global pandemic. The restrictions and lockdowns, which seem absurd in retrospect, brought the cultural sector to its knees so badly that it will take years to rebuild everything back. This song is dedicated to everyone that didn’t give up but fought for the appreciation of culture. -Niko Räty

Children of the Sün returns with the stand alone single “Come With Us”. The Swedish rock group released their critically acclaimed, second studio album “Roots” during the spring of 2022, and now they’re back with a new, direct and playful track. Following the release of “Come With Us”, Children of the Sün will perform on one of Sweden’s leading festival’s, Sweden Rock Festival.
The band comments:
” ‘Come With Us’ to a new era of Children of the Sün, leave all sorrow and troubles behind. Then you’ll become gold! This is a light and forward-looking track that calls for summer and blissfulness. It’s about letting your senses lead the way until you find yourself rooting and floating at once. From where you once stood into the glistening unknown.
‘The clouds in the sky got nothing to hide, I know that it’s all right.'”
Musically, the song is direct yet playful. It colors the classic rock sound with tight harmonies which beckons Fleetwood Mac and another variety of different influences. The song was written by guitarist Jacob Hellenrud and vocalist Josefina Berglund Ekholm, and tied together by the band during a weekend at Sound Society (Gävle, Sweden).
“Come With Us” is released by The Sign Records and is available on all streaming platforms from the 2nd of June.

Magic and wonder are an exclusive part of Finnish metal sagas. This music represents the sound of falling snow, howling wolves, shining stars and the flickering spirits of the northern lights like no other.
VALKEAT are the latest ambassadors of this Finnish cultural heritage.
The new masterpiece “Fireborn” will be released on August 18, 2023 via Reaper Entertainment. The band will play a release show as part of this year’s Summer Breeze Open-Air.
That something big is coming here is already proved by the first harbinger. The first digital single “Tribe” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
The band comments: “It’s crazy to think this video is finally coming out after all the hard work we put into it. Filmed over 6 months all across Finland from northern Lapland to southern Helsinki, we really gave this artwork our all to make it as good and epic as we can. Inspired mainly by Lord of the Rings and Vikings, we really wanted to make an epic masterpiece of a video with Finnish mythology, shamans, monsters and magic. Really hope you all enjoy it! Also with the song TRIBE we are debuting our new symphonic folk metal style that represents our new sound for the second album. The modern metal is still there, but it’s also orchestral and more epic than ever before. And sung in English for the first time. Hope you all like the song!”
“Fireborn” is the album that will lead a new generation of Finnish Modern Folk & Symphonic Metal. A new beginning, a new perspective on those magical, otherworldly melodies that have delighted us for decades. We can’t really believe ourselves what this band has created here – “Fireborn” is a flaming, uplifting, enchanted love letter to Finland and its thousand wonders.
The “Fireborn” tracklist reads as follows: 1 My Crown 2 Tribe 3 Swan Song (Lemminkäinen) 4 Ukko 5 Moraš 6 Fireborn 7 Karjalan Kunnailla 8 Summer Nights 9 Iku 10 Tule Kokko 11 Thunderbird 12 Vana 13 Kuolematon 14 Land of Falling Leaves – Song up the Skies
Named after the magical artifact Sampo from the “Kalevala”, an artifact that creates eternal wealth, “Fireborn” was forged mostly at the renowned Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki.
