JUDAS PRIEST Share New Song ‘The Serpent And The King’ from Upcoming Album

Today Judas Priest share new song “The Serpent and the King,” the latest offering from their upcoming new studio album Invincible Shield. The song sees Judas Priest at their heavy metal best, with what is without doubt the most fist pumping track on the album. The single launches today on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show alongside an exclusive interview with Rob Halford and Zane Lowe.  The band have been teasing snippets of the song on socials for over a month, whipping fans into a frenzy for its release.  Stream the song HERE.

Invincible Shield will be released on March 8, 2024, via Epic Records. Pre-order it HERE. The album’s previous singles “Panic Attack, “Trial By Fire” and “Crown Of Horns” have been streamed over 15 million times since their release.

Stormborn is a melodic heavy metal band from Kent in the UK. While drawing inspiration from the titans of metal – Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, and the rest, Stormborn blazes a unique trail, adopting influences from across the metal spectrum. Their sound is a fusion of classic elements and bold, modern innovation. Stormborn isn’t just walking in the footsteps of giants; they’re crafting a new path in heavy metal, dominated by great riffs, a strong melodic backbone, and powerful vocals that you can’t help but sing along to.

After the release of their first album, Stormborn cut their teeth gigging up and down the UK, especially in London where their regular appearances at the legendary Intrepid Fox were attended by the likes of Herman Li from DragonForce and Mark Cross – ex Helloween and Firewind. They were soon chosen by Rob Chapman to support his band Dorje as well as Phil X & The Drills on a UK tour in 2013, playing at various O2 Academys around the country.

HAMMER KING Release New Single + Official Video ‘The Devil Will I Do’

Mighty German heavy metal/power metal unit HAMMER KING strike with their brand-new hammering single, “The Devil Will I Do”, together with an official music video! The vigorous song is cut from the band’s upcoming studio album, König und Kaiser, set for release on March 22, 2024 via Napalm Records. König und Kaiser continues the storyline of the band paying homage to the mighty Hammer King.
 
With “The Devil Will I Do”, HAMMER KING unleash another headbanger hit to heat up the anticipation for their next full-length. On König und Kaiser, the band, led by ex-Ross The Boss vocalist Titan Fox, is joined by noteworthy guest features from the likes of The Tribune of labelmates WARKINGS, with whom HAMMER KING is heading out on a huge European tour with in March and April 2024.

“’The Devil Will I Do’ is HAMMER KING’s tribute to Monty Python’s ‘Holy Grail’, especially the infamous ‘Swamp Castle’ scene. It might just be our most atmospheric video, as well. We have turned a medieval castle’s keep into a realm of shadows, and its church into the temple of the King. We have stepped up 108 stories of height in two days, have provoked a major fire department run and endured temperatures below the freezing point. Enjoy watching this video as much as we did shooting it!

On König und Kaiser, HAMMER KING continue their collaboration with Charles Greywolf (of genre giants POWERWOLF), who recorded the new album at Studio Greywolf and produced it together with singer Titan Fox. König und Kaiser was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios, infamous for his work with bands such as Amaranthe, Arch Enemy and Volbeat, to name a few.  Hammering, fast-running double kick drums meet speed riffing on the 10 new metal hymns, crowned by memorable sing-along choruses that are meant to be sung with a fist raised in the air.

SUNDAY AT 9 Release Debut Album “Chosen • Obeyed • Forgotten”, Out Now

Sunday at 9 is a groove/progressive metal band from Gdańsk, Poland. After final determination of the band’s personnel at the end of 2021, the band undertook to refine its debut material, which was recorded in 2023 at Tall Pine Records. In parallel with the premiere of the publication, a tour promoting the album began (the end of which is planned for April 2024 at the Gdańsk Wydział Remontowy Club).

Debut album “Chosen, Obeyed, Forgotten” focuses on social themes, with an emphasis on opposition to the abuse of power and force, elitism and corruption. Drums were recorded in Tall Pine Records. All was mixed and mastered by Arek Bogaj.

Album “Chosen • Obeyed • Forgotten” was released February 11, 2024 digitally and independently on CD. Illustrations art in the booklet by Extinct Sacrif. Cover design & band photo by Kobaru.

Alternative versions / acoustic versions has always been something Matt Mitchell has loved. This one is an acoustic version of the lead single from the ‘Mission’ album that landed a top 20 position in the Official Rock Charts back in late 2022. Matt Mitchell & The Coldhearts have recorded a whole bunch of acoustic versions and sharing soon more details.

‘Mission (Ultimate Edition)’ is an extended version of the Official Charting album ‘Mission’ by Matt Mitchell & The Coldhearts and consists of exclusive new edition artwork plus 6 extra tracks. 5 tracks are acoustic versions of and feature piano / acoustic guitars and cello. The 6th extra track is a brand new song. The acoustics tracks were recorded in different sessions between 2018 and 2023. Some at ROCKFIELD STUDIOS, Brighton Studios and remotely. The acoustic tracks feature Stevie Watts on Piano ‘Dare You to Watch (Acoustic)’ and this one was recorded live at ROCKFIELD and features the iconic piano that was used on many great albums including QUEENS ‘BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY’. Lydia Alonso also features on Cello ‘Wave Goodbye (Acoustic)’ and again a live version remotely recorded. ‘Mission (Acoustic)’ recorded by Mitchell in the studio in Brighton. As is the same for the bluesy slide guitar version of ‘Razor Tongue (Acoustic)’. ‘The Queen & I’ is a live studio recording by Mitchell and the song has only ever been aired at live acoustic performances. Written in the recent pandemic lockdown and gets its name from the fact that Mitchell shared a birthday with the late QUEEN ELIZABETH II.

Finnish dark metal torchbearers COUNTING HOURS, featuring current and former members of SHAPE OF DESPAIR, RAPTURE, IMPALED NAZARENE, COLOSSEUM and THE CHANT, will release their sophomore album “The Wishing Tomb” on February 23rd 2024 via Ardua Music.
