EDDIE VEDDER has just announced two new concert dates for October 2023. Coming on the heels of his September 30 headlining set at Ohana Festival, these shows will take place Monday, October 23 and Tuesday, October 24 at Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
Vedder will be returning to the solo stage to raise support for EB Research Partnership (EBRP). All proceeds from the shows will be donated to EBRP, an organization Jill Vedder and Eddie Vedder founded with a group of parents in 2010 to discover treatments and cures for Epidermolysis Bullosa.
A special ticket pre-sale for both concerts begins today for current Ten Club members who were active as of Sunday, August 20.

Hope Hotel is the debut EP from Southend-On-Sea’s fast growing indie band GEORGE SANDERS AND THE PARALLELS. With lyrics drawing on the excitement of exploring new relationships and the pain of knowing when they’re over, the 5 track EP features punchy drumbeats, winding basslines and weapons-grade guitar solos, with catchy vocals lines you can’t help but sing along to.

Founded in December 2007 in Blacksburg, Virginia, Death Shroud has been relentless in their pursuit of musical excellence.
With five powerful albums, including the acclaimed “Pavor Nocturnus,” they have established themselves as a prominent force within the US Black Metal scene.
In 2022, their fourth album “Death, Slavery and the pursuit ov Sadness” was re-released worldwide through Wormholedeath, increasing their international presence.
Revered Finnish progressive post-metal band BESRA has announced the impending release of their highly-anticipated second studio album, “Transitions,” will take place on September 29th with Suicide Records. Today, the band has revealed the record’s first single, “Sentinels,” and video which can be viewed below.
“Sentinels” represents BESRA’s more aggresive and intense sound, while still maintaining the band’s signature style of infusing emotional twists and dramatic changes into their music. The track is accompanied by a video direct by Atte Heinonen.
BESRA’S drummer, Ville Kaisla, sheds light on the creation of the music video: “The song is on the heavier side of the album, so we absolutely wanted to make a powerful playing video for it. On the other hand, the lyrical side of ”Sentinels” also conveys a strong sense of frustration, making it feel very natural to add a visual narrative to it. The song itself is a story about the deterioration of human behavior and its negative effects on our environment. This has led to us losing both the connection and appreciation for nature and ourselves. We wanted to contribute our thoughts to maintain this important discussion.”
About BESRA: Change is often painful. Since the release of their critically acclaimed debut Anhedonia, Finnish progressive post-metal band Besra has been looking for ways to shed their skin. Born from the vision of guitarist Johannes Nygård(ex-Callisto), the group’s music has always defied easy categorization. Now, after a long writing and recording process, they’re ready to unleash their bold second album ”Transitions” via Suicide Records.
The band’s drummer, Ville Kaisla, opens up about the theme of the album:
”‘Transitions’revolves around confronting the complexities of human behavior and the tumultuous landscapes we create – both in our social behavior and to the world around us. Only change is constant, and often painful – whether it’s about the world situation, human relationships, your daily state of mind, or even our band’s musical development. The oldest song on the album is over five years old, and the freshest one was completed just a few weeks before recording sessions started. In this sense, the album became an interesting cross-section of the transformation we have gone through ourselves.”
The album was recoded at Rødhouse Studio and mixed and mastered by Cult Of Luna’s Magnus Lindbergwho, upon hearing the material, was convinced he was dealing with something special.
Vocalist, Hannes Hietarinta, continues: “At the beginning, the band struggled with the diversity of the songs, but unified long recording sessions and carefully considered song order ultimately created a cohesive yet versatile album. Magnus also did an excellent job with the mixing, adding depth, warmth, and tightness to our sound!”
Besra guides the listener through a spectrum of emotions. Growling vocals meet melancholy melodies; the experimental metal aesthetics of Cave In, The Oceanand Mastodon blend together with unexpected echoes of Russian Circlesand Mogwai.
