BERAHT Release Debut Album “I Long to Disappear”, Out Now

Today marks the official release of I Long to Disappear, the debut album from Beraht, an exciting and promising new force within the Italian metal scene. Released through Wanikiya Record/Promotion, the record is a mature, intense, and surprisingly personal debut, capable of taking listeners on a dark journey through suffering, introspection, and the search for liberation.

Consisting of nine tracks, I Long to Disappear is much more than a simple collection of songs. It is a conceptual work that explores the deepest and most disturbing areas of the human mind, transforming emotions, fears, and inner conflicts into a powerful sonic experience.

The album’s central theme revolves around the figure of the Iura (also known as Avurje or Aure), a creature from medieval Apulian folklore, particularly associated with the province of Taranto. According to legend, this demonic presence sits on the chest of its victims while they sleep, stealing their breath and condemning them to eternal paralysis. Originally created to explain phenomena such as sleep paralysis and sudden infant death, the Iura is reinterpreted by Beraht in a modern and deeply symbolic way.

Within the album, the Iura becomes a representation of psychological pain, mental oppression, and the relentless struggle against oneself. A dark entity that, paradoxically, is perceived as a possible escape from the emotional suffocation caused by thoughts, fears, and inner contradictions. An intense concept that leads listeners to confront a disturbing question: what if what truly frightens us is not death, but the possibility of getting better?

Musically, I Long to Disappear refuses to be confined within rigid labels. Its solid Groove Metal foundation intertwines with influences from Metalcore, Deathcore, Doom, Progressive Metal, Thrash Metal, and Grunge, creating an explosive blend that the band itself defines as “Groovecore.” The result is a modern, dynamic, and unpredictable sound where crushing breakdowns coexist with melancholic atmospheres, evocative melodies, and richly nuanced songwriting.

Officially formed on November 29, 2024, in the province of Taranto, Beraht features Alessio Galeone (vocals), Roberto Caso and Stefano Giannotta (guitars), Andrea Morciano (bass), and Nicola Renna (drums). The combination of the members’ diverse musical backgrounds has allowed the band to develop a strong and recognizable identity, successfully blending tradition and modernity into an authentic and personal artistic vision.

Even the band’s name tells a story of contrasts: “Beraht,” a Germanic term meaning “bright” or “shining,” deliberately contrasts with the dark atmospheres and profound themes explored throughout the lyrics, creating a duality that perfectly embodies the essence of the band.

With I Long to Disappear, Beraht delivers a powerful, visceral, and deeply emotional debut destined to leave its mark on the new Italian metal scene.

Available now on all major digital platforms.

BraveWords Records Announces Signing of AIRFORCE, Single & Music Video ‘Strange World’ Out Now

BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of AIRFORCE and the release of the single “Strange World” a cover of the Iron Maiden track. Set in the Iron Maiden “Somewhere In Time” universe, the video brings to life the lyrics and themes in the song! Watch as one of the most iconic Maiden cover artworks comes to life!”

Fans can stream and download “Strange World” from Bandcamp at https://bravewordsrecords.bandcamp.com

The band shared their excitement about signing with BraveWords Records, “Airforce are delighted to be joining forces with the phenomenal BraveWords, a highly regarded global media outlet and record label. Airforce are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with BraveWords.”

Continuing, the band, (whom features in it’s ranks former Iron Maiden drummer Doug Sampson) talked about covering Iron Maiden’s track “Strange World”, “Covering Iron Maiden’s “Strange World” was actually Tony Hatton’s idea. The song has always been a favorite of Chop Pitman since the early days. Plus, our drummer, Doug Sampson, played on the original Iron Maiden version that was recorded during the Soundhouse Tapes sessions, so we thought, “Why not give it a go and see what happens?”

Lino did a great job with the vocals. We didn’t want to simply cover the song as it was originally recorded, so we adapted it to suit Airforce’s style and sound.

Chop Pitman ran the idea past Steve Harris and asked for his blessing.

Steve suggested that we invite Dave Sullivan, one of Iron Maiden’s earliest guitarists, to play on the track—which we did. As a result, we have two former Iron Maiden members performing on the recording.

Chop also came up with the idea of ending the song with the outro from another classic Iron Maiden track, “Remember Tomorrow,” which we felt fit perfectly. Steve and Dave both liked the idea as well.

“Strange World” was played at the funeral of our good friend, Paul Di’Anno, making this recording a tribute to him, too. Paul recorded with Airforce on a couple of occasions, and we miss him dearly.

We would like to thank Steve Harris and Dave Sullivan, as well as Jez Coad, who produced the track, and, of course, my nephew Lee Heffron for creating this amazing video.”

About AIRFORCE:

“A Band of Brothers” is not only a term that best describes this London-based heavy rock band, but it is also the title of one of their most memorable songs. The description is fitting because Airforce began their journey unpretentiously as a true band of brothers in music.

Cutting their teeth on the London club circuit, the band shared a passion for the rock lifestyle, the art of songwriting, and the thrill of performing live. This enthusiasm for their craft led them to experience the magic of the unexpected, taking them to stages across Europe and the United States.

Although the roots of the band date back to the late 1970s under the name EL-34, Airforce has existed under its current name since 1986. With two EPs, three studio albums, and one live album to their credit, the band’s name has become synonymous with the classic legacy of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) sound.

At the same time, Airforce became pioneers of a new wave of “blast-from-the-past” bands. Unexpectedly emerging as leaders of the genre, they outlasted many younger bands that failed to make a lasting impact.

Airforce evolved from being the exception… to becoming part of a worldwide movement that spread across numerous countries. Throughout it all, they have proudly carried the flag for British heavy rock.

In the last five years alone, despite the challenges of the lockdown era, Airforce have performed more than one hundred shows in over twenty countries, building an army of loyal fans around the world.

Chop Pitman – Guitar & Vocals

THE HOWLERS Wake Up from the American Dream on New Single ‘L.A. Morning’

Following the announcement of their forthcoming sophomore album ‘Heavy,’ London indie rockers THE HOWLERS return with their latest single, “L.A. Morning,” out now via FLG. The track offers another glimpse into the band’s most ambitious chapter yet, ahead of the album’s release on October 9th alongside the announcement of their summer shows alongside Deep Purple and Alice Cooper and their autumn album tour.

A sun-soaked reflection on the myths we grow up believing, “L.A. Morning” explores the idealized image of the American Dream through a distinctly British perspective. Built around themes of ambition, escapism, and disillusionment, the track captures the tension between youthful fantasy and reality, while retaining the sense of wonder that made those dreams so alluring in the first place.

The song arrived unexpectedly during the final stages of recording ‘Heavy.’ Initially never intended for the album, “L.A. Morning” was written and recorded in a matter of hours during the band’s final studio session, with THE HOWLERS committing to their first instincts and capturing a spontaneity that would ultimately make it one of the record’s defining moments.

“As kids, we all grew up with the idea of the American Dream, a notion that has been dashed significantly in recent years by world events, but the romanticised idea of Hollywood is something that every child knows and grows up wanting,” says frontman Adam Young. “’L.A. Morning’ is sort of the realization of that. It was never meant to end up on the album, but it came together so naturally that we couldn’t ignore it. Those moments are rare, and they’re what making music is all about.”

Following a period of transition at the end of 2024, THE HOWLERS entered a new phase, with frontman Adam Young rebuilding the project as a two-piece alongside drummer Toby Richards — a shift that redefined both the band’s sound and creative direction, bringing a renewed sense of focus and identity.

That reset came off the back of a breakthrough year. Their self-funded debut album ‘What You’ve Got To Lose To Win It All’ landed to widespread European acclaim, breaking into the UK Independent Breakers Charts Top 10 while securing multiple positions across independent, vinyl and physical sales charts. Radio support followed from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X and Absolute Radio, alongside international backing and editorial playlisting across Apple Music and Spotify.

That momentum translated directly to the stage. A sold-out 18-date UK headline tour established the band as one of the country’s most exciting live acts, followed by a European run that saw them sell out shows across eight countries — road-testing new material that would ultimately shape what came next.

Where that debut was defined by grief and personal loss, ‘Heavy’ emerges from a very different place. Driven by the tension between desire and consequence, recklessness and reality, it’s an album lit by the pull of the night, the thrill of impulse and the cold clarity that follows.

Written and produced alongside long-time collaborator Chris Ostler (Black Honey), the record deliberately sidesteps traditional studio methods. Instead, it was built remotely — with demos, ideas and reworked compositions exchanged across digital platforms — stripping everything back while pushing each track to its strongest form. Only in the final stages did the band enter rehearsal spaces to capture live drums, grounding its more experimental edges with a raw, physical energy.

Young adds:

“This album is those late night experiences, the after dark conversations, late night phone calls, the seductive nature of impulsiveness that seems so alluring and losing yourself in the addictive nature of recklessness — but it’s also the mirror in the morning, the wake up call, and the harsh reality of knowing those feelings won’t always last. It’s the moment you find yourself again.”

  8. Heavy
  9. You Can Be So Cruel

For a band that has always worn its honesty as a badge of honour — and built a fiercely loyal following on the back of it — ‘Heavy’ feels like the album THE HOWLERS were always moving towards. With an extensive UK and European headline tour to follow, 2026 is shaping up to be the year they fully arrive.

Grammy-Nominated Hardcore Icons HATEBREED Join Forces with BLKIIBLK Records, New Album Out Later This Year

Grammy-nominated, Connecticut hardcore icons HATEBREED, who remain one of the most impactful and enduring bands of the modern era and who are known for their tectonic-plate shifting and lyrically poignant anthems, are thrilled to announce that they have joined forces with BLKIIBLK RECORDS. The label will release the band’s forthcoming album, produced by long-time collaborator Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Accept, Shadows Fall). The much-awaited follow up to 2020’s Weight of the False Self is due out this fall. More details will be released in due course, but fans can follow the band’s socials for teases and updates about the record.

“BLKIIBLK put together a dream team to get behind the new Hatebreed record and we couldn’t be happier — new label, new horizons, crushing new songs,” says singer Jamey Jasta. “We are beyond grateful and can’t wait to unleash these tracks on the world!”

Drummer Matt Byrne weighs in, saying, “2026 is the year of Hatebreed. This juggernaut as we know it is picking up the pace rapidly and is taking no prisoners. As if 2025 wasn’t enough of a truly busy and successful year, this summer sees multiple European festivals/headline tours for the band, two separate U.S. legs of the Summer Slaughter tour, and a powerhouse of a new record dropping this fall on an awesome new label BLKIIBLK!!! We can’t wait to see everyone on the road!”

“One of my favorite things about making this record was working with our brother-in-arms, Zeuss, once again,” continues Jasta. “His connection with Matt, Wayne, Frank, Carl, and me goes far beyond the producer’s chair, I’ve known him since the Pushbutton Warfare and Jasta 14 days, he’s been like a sixth member of this band for years. When you’re chasing something timeless, memorable, and meaningful, having that level of trust and understanding makes all the difference. We would high five, scream, pace, and celebrate every time we elevated the song or hit on something killer. From ‘I Will Be Heard’ to ‘Destroy Everything,’ ‘Looking Down The Barrel’ to now, ‘Decisions Become Destinies!’ We got another one Zeussky!”

“BlLKIIBLK Records is proud to announce the signing of HATEBREED. Not only are they a name carved into the heavy music landscape, but they are as vital and relevant a force as ever. Perhaps even more so.  We are excited to work with Jamey [Jasta], who continues to bring new energy to everything he touches. Jasta and HATEBREED aren’t merely about perseverance — they’re about bringing the sound of the extreme to a new level. We’re honored to be working together,”
said Frontiers Records Global Head of A&R/BLKIIBLK Label Head Mike Gitter.

Hatebreed will spend the summer doing what they do best — touring and bringing venues across the U.S. to their knees. All upcoming dates are below.

With dozens of pit-stirring anthems across albums, the Grammy-nominated Hatebreed have built their reputation through decades of ruthless breakdowns and an Iron Man touring ethic, consistently selling out shows the world over. Over the course of its career, the band has gone from playing basements and backyards to being a featured, must-see attraction on countless festivals like Graspop, OzzFest, Warped, and Download, alongside massive high-profile tours.

Described by Forbes as “more relevant than ever in the metal and hardcore community,” the quintet remains one of the most definitive live acts in music today and recently celebrated a milestone with their track “Looking Down The Barrel Of Today,” which is nearing 130 million global streams, making it their single biggest career streaming track of the modern era. To date, Hatebreed have sold over 1.5 million albums in North America alone.

Hatebreed’s most recent album, 2020’s Weight of the False Self, was praised as a “return to their hardcore roots” by Brooklyn Vegan. The album was deemed “one of their most aggressive to date” by Consequence and “pummeling” by Revolver, while Psychology Today called it “a blazing combination of extreme metal and hardcore punk.” Hatebreed remain one of the most vital bands in the hard rock scene.

Nashville rockers Cinema Stereo return with their brand-new single, “Now We Feel Special,” released on Wednesday June 10th. Available now across all major streaming platforms HERE, the infectious song arrives alongside an official music video, available to watch on YouTube HERE.

The single offers a tantalizing preview of Cinema Stereo’s new studio album, arriving in October. It also sets the stage for the band’s first-ever UK Headline Tour, which will see them take to the road across the UK throughout November and December. Tickets are on sale via The Gig Cartel and Cinema Stereo.

“Now We Feel Special is heavily inspired by our indie rock influences,” says Cinema Stereo’s lead singer, bassist, and keyboardist, Ian Rayha. “We wanted to channel the sounds of Vampire Weekend and Two Door Cinema Club but make it rock. We always try to follow what excites us. From the moment Sebastian played the opening riff, we knew it had to be a Cinema Stereo song.

Continues Ian, “The lyrics tell the story of two people who enter each other’s lives to save one another. We have always liked the idea that certain people are meant to cross our path—that the universe has a way of introducing new characters into our lives when we need them most, helping us to grow, heal, and move forward. In many ways, the marriage between the lyrics and the music feels just as destined as the relationship between the characters in the song.”

Coinciding with the release of the new single, Cinema Stereo have announced their first-ever European & UK Tour, beginning on 15 October 2026. Tickets are available now through Cinema Stereo. The landmark run represents a significant step in the band’s journey, taking their acclaimed high-energy live show to international audiences for the first time.

Originally hailing from Orlando, Florida, and now based in Nashville, Cinema Stereo are comprised of Ian Rayha (lead vocals, bass guitar, keyboards), Seb Borysek (guitars, backing vocals), and Jeff Lageveen (drums, backing vocals).

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, including Queen, The Police, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, and The Killers, Cinema Stereo have forged a sound that is both timeless and distinctly their own. Renowned for their fearless creative approach, emotional honesty, and compelling songwriting, the band continue to establish themselves as one of the most exciting emerging voices in contemporary rock.

Cinema Stereo’s previous single “So Sorry, My Dear” is available on all streaming platforms HERE and as a limited edition 7-inch vinyl available HERE. Watch the music video HERE.

The band’s previous single “Lean On You” is available on all streaming platforms HERE. Watch the music video on YouTube HERE.

LUCID DREAMING Release New Video Single ‘Confederation’, Feat. Ralf Scheepers, Blaze Bayley & More

Posted by tarjavirmakari on June 12, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: LUCID DREAMING. Leave a comment

LUCID DREAMING presents “Confederation,” the opening track of their new album “Upon The Barricades.”
This gives listeners immediate access to the band’s latest concept album, which tells the story of Germany in the first half of the 19th century.

Songwriter Till Oberboßel: “It’s the story of how we tried to establish a national state after shaking off Napoleon’s yoke, how we started a revolution, and how it all failed.”

The story begins in the year 1815. The Napoleonic Wars are over and Europe’s political and constitutional order needs a new layout. In Vienna, an enormous congress is held and among the many agreements made there, the founding of the German Confederation is most important. A central figure is Austria’s foreign minister Klemens von Metternich who aims to restore an order based on absolute monarchy. In 1819, he uses the murder of conservative dramatist August von Kotzebue as an excuse to introduce the Karlsbad Decrees, draconic laws of censorship, and suppress any nationalist or liberal movements.

Digital: save-it.cc/epr/confederation

This compelling theme is powerfully brought to life by guest vocalists

  • Metternich (Ralf Scheepers / PRIMAL FEAR)
  • Frederick William III (Alessio Perardi / AIRBORN)
  • William I (Deon Van Heerden)
  • Francis I (Blaze Bayley / ex-IRON MAIDEN)

True to the motto “More Metal – less keyboards,” the theme is, as expected, delivered with power and full force: TIME FOR REVOLUTION!
