International post-depressive black metal project IN LUNA return with their long-awaited new album, “The Architecture Of Negativity”, out now via Talheim Records on Digipak CD and across digital streaming platforms.

A harrowing post-depressive black metal work, “The Architecture Of Negativity” explores despair, introspection and isolation, tracing a journey through the darkest corners of the human mind. Blending the emotional weight of depressive black metal with haunting shoegaze textures and atmospheric post-black metal, IN LUNA create a sound in which darkness is not an external force, but a state of mind.

Melancholic melodies, crushing riffs and intimate, pessimistic lyrics shape an immersive album that transforms pain into haunting beauty. “The Architecture Of Negativity” stands as IN LUNA’s most personal and uncompromising work to date.

Founded in 2011 as an international project between Chile and Spain, IN LUNA was created by guitarist, bassist and programmer Aukka and vocalist Uruksoth. The duo released their debut album, “Forgotten Lives”, and the split “Urban Negativism” in 2015, alongside acts including Psychonaut 4, Ofdrykkja and Vanhelga. For the recording of “The Architecture Of Negativity”, they were joined by two guest musicians: the drummer of Gaerea and the bassist of Hrizg.

SARLIC BLISS to Release New Album “Melodies Of A Dying Dawn” on November 27th

Following their impressive debut “Brægn Hæft” (2023), the Southern German Epic Doom Metallers SARLIC BLISS will release their new full-length album, “Melodies Of A Dying Dawn”, on November 27! Fans of My Dying Bride, Draconian, or Swallow The Sun should add this album to their must-have list.

Featuring, among others, former members of Midnattsol, the band delivers true heaviness through atmosphere, emotion, and unforgettable melodies. “Melodies Of A Dying Dawn” will feature six tracks of dark Epic Doom, clocking in at just over 45 minutes, and will be available on CD and vinyl.

Vinyl fans will have to hurry, though, as a strictly limited edition will be available exclusively from the band itself and via their Bandcamp shop. You can find a first glimpse of the cover artwork below, and the first musical preview will be available soon. Stay tuned!

Finnish one-man dark folk band Nobody is set to release a new EP ‘The Birds Know’ on November 12th 2026 via Inverse Records. An unusual feature this time is that Eliel Norkola-Smith plays bass on the first three tracks of the EP.

The man behind Nobody, Tuomas Kauppinen comments:
“This is dedicated to all the xenophobes: the ones who hate and fear those who look different, act different or speak differently. It is also an homage to Mali and the ancient Mandinka kingdom whose musicians appropriated the instruments of the gods and introduced them to mankind.”

WORM ALTAR Premiere “Pillars of Eternal Dusk” Debut LP Ahead of Release

Portland, Maine death-doom act WORM ALTAR present their debut full-length “Pillars of Eternal Dusk” in full through a premiere hosted by Death Metal Promotion. Built from lumbering rhythms and a pervasive sense of decay, the album moves between death metal weight and slower, doomy passages, while understated melodic details gradually emerge from the murk.

“Pillars of Eternal Dusk” is set for October 16, 2026 via Dawnbreed Records and Gurgling Gore, with cassette editions also arriving through Contemn Light.

There is something genuinely repulsive about the sound of WORM ALTAR. Crude, abrasive and seemingly dragged out of some damp, lightless corner of the underground, “Pillars of Eternal Dusk” refuses to polish away the rough edges that give its death metal such an unsettling presence. Yet beneath the layer of grime, the album reveals itself to be far more carefully constructed than its initial assault might suggest.

Great riffs emerge from the murk, memorable enough to stick in the head long after the noise has subsided. Subtle melodic details and understated atmospheric touches lurk beneath the surface, adding depth without ever compromising the album’s oppressive character. The rawness is therefore not an end in itself: it is the most appropriate vehicle for music that aims to feel uneasy, crawling and fundamentally diseased.

Drawing inspiration from Gorement, Phrenelith, Disembowelment, Coffins, Mortiferum, Grave Upheaval and Black Sabbath, WORM ALTAR operate in that particularly fertile territory where death metal becomes less a display of brute force than an exercise in atmosphere, physicality and dread.

Founded in late 2021 as the solo project of Scott M. (guitars, vocals), WORM ALTAR initially released the “Demo 2022” tape through Acid Redux Productions and the “Astral Scourge” EP in 2023 via Gurgling Gore and Total Death Over Mexico. After expanding into a full band, the lineup was completed by John S. on drums, Jon M. on bass and Rob C. on guitar. Jon M. is also a member of sludge/doom legends Come To Grief, while Rob C. handles guitar and vocals in progressive death metal outfit Shabti.

“Pillars of Eternal Dusk” was recorded largely live in just ten hours by Todd Hutchisen at Acadia Recording Company in the band’s hometown of Portland. Mixing was handled by Ethan Camp, whose credits include the debut albums of Mortiferum and Mephitic Corpse, while mastering was completed by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio, known for work with Ancient Death, Blood Incantation, Cerebral Rot, Imprecation, Infester and Spectral Voice.

Following the release, WORM ALTAR will perform throughout New England and Canada, bringing the filth of “Pillars of Eternal Dusk” to the stage.

GORGATRON to Release New Album “Turmoil” on December 11th

North Dakota death metal crew GORGATRON will return with their new album “Turmoil”, set for release on December 11, 2026 via Time To Kill Records.

Built around a pronounced devotion to the riff, the Fargo-based band continue to draw from the muscular tradition of American death metal while leaving room for intricate guitar work, shifting rhythms and unexpected turns. “Turmoil” follows 2024’s “Sentience Revoked” and marks the next stage in a catalogue that has steadily expanded the group’s take on death metal. The album was mixed and mastered by Marco Mastrobuono (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance), whose work further sharpens the definition and impact of the band’s sound. 

The album’s first single, “Cleansed”, is now available, offering the first glimpse of what GORGATRON have been shaping for their new chapter.

A band that has never been particularly interested in rushing its creative process, GORGATRON have always taken their time to consider their next moves and make sure every return is worth the wait. That patience is reflected in a death metal approach that refuses to settle comfortably within any specific current or subgenre.
