German gothic metal pioneers CREMATORY have released a brand-new music video for their latest single “Blind,” offering a dark glimpse into their upcoming greatest hits album “English Hymns & Deutsche Hymnen.”

The album is set for release on May 15, 2026 via ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music and celebrates 35 years of the band’s career. “English Hymns & Deutsche Hymnen” will be available as an expansive three-CD edition as well as limited double-vinyl formats. The 3-CD set includes “English Hymns,” “Deutsche Hymnen,” and “Engulfed in Darkness Demo.” The vinyl editions will be released as a Neon Green double vinyl (English Hymns) and a Turquoise double vinyl (Deutsche Hymnen).

The album pre-sale is available here: https://crematory.rpm.link/greatesthitsPR

With “Blind”, the exclusive bonus track on the “Deutsche Hymnen” LP edition, CREMATORY present one of their darkest German-language tracks to date. Driven by themes of spiritual erosion and emotional desolation, the song unfolds a bleak, cinematic atmosphere, combining crushing heaviness with immersive depth. Lines such as “kein morgen naht, kein leben bleibt / nur kalte asche” reinforce the track’s cold, ritualistic aesthetic.

Frontman Felix Stass states:
“‘Blind’ reflects a world where hope dissolves and only shadows remain.”

Formed in 1991 in Mannheim, Germany, CREMATORY have become one of the most enduring and influential acts in European gothic metal. Over more than three decades, the band evolved from their early death metal roots into a distinctive style combining heavy riffs, melodic keyboards, industrial textures, and contrasting vocal approaches.

Throughout their career, CREMATORY have explored themes of life, pain, introspection, and atmosphere, often blending deep growls with clean vocals to create a sound both powerful and haunting. Their growth in the 1990s brought them recognition across Europe through relentless touring and festival appearances.

The upcoming “Greatest Hits” album reflects the band’s bilingual legacy. “English Hymns & Deutsche Hymnen” gathers key tracks from across their catalogue in both languages and also includes the band’s earliest demo recordings, offering fans a comprehensive retrospective of CREMATORY’s long and influential journey. With 35 years of history, countless tours, and a legacy that helped shape European gothic, death and industrial metal, “Greatest Hits” stands as both a celebration of CREMATORY’s past and a powerful reminder that the band remains as vital as ever!

Crimson Day returns with Hexed, a dark, driving heavy metal track built around powerful vocals, crushing riffs, and the kind of occult atmosphere that gets under your skin. Equal parts hypnotic and relentless, it’s a song that demands your attention from the first beat of the witchdrum to the final note. Infectious hooks, powerful melodies, ferocious intensity, and a brooding curse that won’t let you go.

“Hexed” follows the successful release of “False Prophet” and serves as the next chapter leading toward the release of the full-length album Dark Dimension, due for release on 22 May 2026.

About Crimson Day

Founded in 2013 in Tampere, Crimson Day has spent over a decade forging their own lane within the heavy metal landscape, blending the timeless power of classic heavy metal with a broad sweep of genre influences, wrapped in dark intensity, high-octane energy, and sharp, soaring melody.

The band’s story began with a self-titled EP in 2013, followed by their debut full-length Order of the Shadows (2015). They expanded their sonic vision on At the Mountains of Madness (2018) before returning with the bold, self-titled Crimson Day in 2023. A pivotal lineup shift in 2020 introduced new frontwoman Milka Uusitalo, ushering in a reinvigorated era marked by standout singles including “Raising the Fury” and “Black as the Heavens Above,” and bold, genre-defying covers of “Immigrant Song,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” and “Objection (Tango)” that further demonstrated the band’s dynamic range.

Now, with Dark Dimension on the horizon, Crimson Day is stepping into their most ambitious chapter yet.

With nearly 100 live shows across Finland and Europe, sharing stages with Sonata Arctica, Turmion Kätilöt, Turisas, Reckless Love, and Korpiklaani, and international performances spanning the Baltics, Germany, and Sweden, the band has built a reputation as a formidable live force. Their music has earned global radio airplay, and their YouTube catalog has surpassed 100,000 views.

Crimson Day is:

Milka Uusitalo – vocals
Ari Balzar – lead guitar
Janne Rantanen – guitar/screams
Jesse ”Kämy” Kämäräinen – bass
Janne Ollikainen – drums/percussions

CASTIEL Announce New EP “All Returns to Hollow and Silence” + Release Lead Single ‘Act I: Defile // Denounce’ with Video

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 19, 2026

Austrian deathcore collective Castiel have announced their new EP All Returns to Hollow and Silence, set for release on 24th July via Seek and Strike. An immersive conceptual release, the EP will unfold chapter by chapter, beginning with the devastating opening salvo, ‘Act I: Defile // Denounce’.

Pre-save All Returns to Hollow and Silence here: https://orcd.co/castielep2026

From its opening moments, ‘Act I: Defile // Denounce’ drops you straight into the deep end, pairing punishing low-tuned riffs with bursts of relentless speed and precision. It’s a track that immediately signals Castiel‘s intentions, heavier and more dynamic than ever and sets the foundation for a record built on brutality and depth.

All Returns to Hollow and Silence is a genuine step forward for the band. Drawing from a diverse range of influences, Castiel have crafted a sound that is pulled together with purpose. Firmly rooted in deathcore, the EP pushes beyond the genre confines, embracing contrast and atmosphere alongside its more destructive elements.

Speaking on the release, the band said: “This EP is heavier, more brutal but also more emotional than anything we’ve done before as a band. We’ve pushed ourselves creatively while staying true to who we are, this feels like the most complete version of Castiel yet.”

The new EP is built as a continuous story with each track acting as a chapter in a wider narrative. That idea carries through visually too, with every song set to receive its own video.

At its core, All Returns to Hollow and Silence explores the shifting relationship between two central protagonists, tracing a journey shaped by tension, transformation and emotional conflict. Subtle inspiration has been drawn from the lore of World of Warcraft, particularly the arcs of Arthas Menethil and Jaina Proudmoore.

Musically, the release channels the oppressive weight and atmosphere of Black Tongue and Humanity’s Last Breath, while incorporating the raw aggression of Bodysnatcher and The Acacia Strain. The result is a record that moves seamlessly between suffocating heaviness and explosive intensity.

Track-list:

1. Act I: Defile // Denounce
2. Act II: A Festering Wound
3. Act III: Vile Spirits
4. Act IV: Empty Throne

Emerging from Klagenfurt, Austria in 2014, Castiel quickly made their mark with their bleak atmospheres and downtempo heaviness. Early releases including their debut single ‘Human Scum’ and the Exitium EP (2015) set the tone, followed by Blasphemy in 2017, before lineup changes forced the band into a hiatus.

They returned in 2023 with Shadowlands, signalling a clear step up in both sound and ambition. That momentum carried into 2025’s Khaos EP, a darker, more introspective release that pushed further into themes of psychological collapse and existential weight.

Now, with their signing to Seek and Strike, Castiel enter a new chapter. All Returns to Hollow and Silence not only marks their first release under the label, but their most ambitious work to date.

Having already shared stages with the likes of Distant, Carnifex, Born of Osiris and more, the band have built a reputation for intense, no frills live shows. Stay tuned for live dates to follow.

GYPSY PISTOLEROS’ New Album “Dark Faerie Tales” Out Now

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 19, 2026

In 2026, while much of rock music plays it safe, Gypsy Pistoleros are burning the rulebook.
The world’s only Glam Punk Goth ’n’ Roll outlaws return with their most dangerous, theatrical, and uncompromising record yet — Dark Faerie Tales: A Fairytale for the Damned, released 17th April 2026 on The New Church Records Label

This is not nostalgia. This is not cosplay. This is feral, glitter-streaked, gothic punk rock with teeth.
Drawing openly from the bloodlines of The Damned, Hanoi Rocks, Killing Joke, The Cult, and the modern defiance of YUNGBLUD, Gypsy Pistoleros don’t imitate — they mutate. The result is an album that feels lived-in, earned, and gloriously unhinged.

Produced and co-written by long-time sonic conspirator Dave Draper (Michael Monroe, Ginger Wildheart, The Wildhearts, Therapy?, Elvana), Dark Faerie Tales fuses glam-soaked punk energy with gothic grandeur, raw fire, and apocalyptic swagger — a record for outsiders, believers, romantics, and beautiful misfits.

As Overdrive declares:
“A love letter to the beautiful and broken, a twisted hymn for the strange of heart, and proof that rock ’n’ roll still has room for danger, drama and glitter in the dark.”

Available worldwide & instore on three-colour vinyl, digipak CD, and digital:
Neon Purple & Black Splatter Vinyl
Neon Green & Black Splatter Vinyl
Deluxe 4-panel Digisleeve CD
Order here: https://www.plastichead.com/artist/gypsy-pistoleros

Following the success of Church of the Pistoleros — hailed as one of 2025’s most fearless and eclectic rock albums — the Pistoleros have conjured something even bolder: a dark fairytale for the damned, a love letter to the beautiful and broken, and a twisted hymn for the strange of heart.

Track Listing:
Dark Faerie Tales
My One Desire, Burn It Up
King of Almost Everything
She’s Getting Stranger
Take My Hand to Nightmare Land
Behind The Mask
Prince of the Damned
Rattling
I Whisper Goodbye
The Ghost of Baby Strange

To support the release, Gypsy Pistoleros embarked on the Dark Faerie Tales U.K. Tour, with additional festival and European dates to be announced.
