The time has come … after three months of introducing you to their new universe, it’s time to unveil the complete work.
French OÏKOUMEN‘s second album, “Resilience“, was released yesterday on April 17th, and they’ll present it live tomorrow, on April 19th at La Péniche Antipode – Abricadabra Spectacles – in Paris.
OÏKOUMEN evolves within orchestral Progressive Metal, on the borders of Symphonic Metal without fully adopting its conventions. The music is epic and energetic, driven by groove, and claims a strong, embodied and committed identity.
Musically, OÏKOUMEN draws from the legacy of Nightwish, Stratovarius, Iron Maiden, and Pink Floyd, while embracing a more modern and progressive approach akin to Leprous, Meshuggah, Dream Theater, or Jinjer.
The melodies and orchestrations are inspired by 19th-century Romanticism, notably Ernest Chausson, Pablo de Sarasate, and Claude Debussy, enriched by more ethereal influences such as Kate Bush, Andreas Vollenweider, and Loreena McKennitt. [ … learn more here » ]

“It’s all water under the bridge I know that’s what you wanted to hear It’s gone forever, never-ending Whatever way you go, you’ll always matter to me”
The independent art rock band Ok Goodnight announce that their third studio album, entitled stop/go, will be released on June 12, 2026. It follows its predecessor, The Fox and the Bird (2023), which was highly acclaimed by fans and critics alike, with Eclipsed magazine (DE) labeling it “the prog discovery of the year!” and Rock Hard (DE) calling it “the best concept work of the year and an absolute prog highlight.”
Like The Fox and the Bird in its time, the new album will be released without the support of a label, to ensure that the quartet from Boston – formed by graduates of Berklee College of Music – keeps unfolding their creative vision with total freedom. This adventurous spirit reveals itself in the dreamy soundscapes created on stop/go. ‘22’, the first single out today, showcases Casey Lee Williams’ commanding vocal performance and how it elevates the band’s compositions. The accompanying music video translates Ok Goodnight‘s unique sound into ambitious visuals, combining elements of formalism, pop art, and arthouse aesthetics.
Ok Goodnight’s vocalist Casey Lee Williams comments: “Saying this song was a step in a new direction for us would be an understatement. Creating this song, which was the first demo we began writing after the release of ‘The Fox and the Bird’, gave us hope and got us excited about writing new music with the band at a time of uncertainty and change. This song explores the complex themes of betrayal, forgiveness, loneliness, and the bittersweet nature of endings.”
Ok Goodnight consists of musicians who honed their skills while studying at Berklee College of Music. Casey Lee Williams (vocals), Martín de Lima (piano/guitar), Augusto Bussio (drums/guitar), and Peter de Reyna (bass) combine refined musicianship with creative artistry.
In early 2019, the band released their first single, ‘Rapture’, followed later that year by their debut album, Limbo. In 2020, they released an EP titled Under the Veil. In 2023, Ok Goodnight self-released the concept album The Fox and the Bird to worldwide critical acclaim.
After three years of touring and writing, Ok Goodnight now look ahead to the release of their new album. stop/go promises a fresh artistic approach to progressive sounds, organically crossing genre boundaries between rock, metal, and beyond. The introspective lyrics by vocalist Casey Lee Williams reflect ever-changing relationships and the challenges of finding one’s true direction in an enigmatic world.
The band’s new material showcases a collaborative and multifaceted approach to songwriting, with sonic explorations that push creative boundaries. Through their distinctive use of sampling, live performance, and sound design, the group continues to expand the scope of progressive rock. The album’s visual direction focuses on collage to encapsulate the eclectic nature of the band’s music, as the songs on stop/go aim to embody the ethos of mixed-media art.
To celebrate this upcoming milestone release, Ok Goodnight will perform a series of shows throughout 2026, including appearances at Mad With Power Fest in the US, Midsummer Prog Fest in the Netherlands, and select club dates across Europe. To top things off, the band will hit the road again in late 2026 to headline their third North American tour in four years.
Ok Goodnight about their new album stop/go: “After three years of rediscovering Ok Goodnight, writing music in new and exciting ways, and realizing together that this has grown far beyond a college project into a lifelong passion, we are happier than ever to share this new record. With ‘stop/go’, we wanted to encapsulate the feelings often brought upon by the ever-changing landscape of humanity and the societies we experience on such a mass scale. This album explores the themes of cause and effect, taking chances/risks, and the question of free will and how love plays an ultimate role in the way one’s life unfolds and takes all kinds of shapes before them. By the end of the record, we’ve embodied true acceptance of the complexity of human nature and all of the emotions and concepts we’ve explored; we seek empowerment in the comfort of long-lasting friendships and all of life’s beautiful, unpredictable contradictions.”

Hailing from Finland, Lobster return to the spotlight with renewed energy. After three years of silence, the band has rediscovered the core joy of making music — something clearly heard on their new single “Baby I’m Yours Tonight,” released today alongside a music video.
“Baby I’m Yours Tonight” is an energetic track built on strong vocals, big guitar riffs, catchy harmonies, and a solid groove.
The song was written by drummer Zeko Takamäki, who says it was born out of a need to shake off the constant grey news cycle and return to the basics.
“I got tired of how television and social media keep feeding us soulless digital content. I had a strong feeling that enough is enough. We wanted to create something real, human, and approachable as a counterbalance — music that is, above all, fun to play and to listen to,” Takamäki explains.
Lyrically, the track dares to be straightforward and embraces a kind of human naivety that today’s often ironic atmosphere tends to avoid.
“In the lyrics, we aimed for a certain pure naivety. The expressions are familiar and traditional, but that’s exactly why they feel so fresh in this day and age. It’s that old-fashioned honesty that feels like the right way for us to express ourselves right now,” Takamäki continues.
Lobster operate on their own terms with a humble attitude, without cutting corners when it comes to the final result. The band assembled the best possible team for the recording: the track was mixed by renowned engineer Mikko Karmila (Finnvox) and mastered by legendary Björn Engelmann (Cutting Room), known for his work with ABBA, Roxette, and Rammstein.
Lobster are currently preparing for the release of a new album. The band has previously released three full-length albums: Carousel (2016), Killing Silence (2018), and Love, Respect & Rock’n’Roll (2023).
Lobster line-up: Ana Kaunisto – vocals & guitar Tomi Viitanen – guitar & backing vocals Sami Ketola – bass & backing vocals Zeko Takamäki – drums & backing vocals
Two years after turning heads in the music scene with their first singles, Lust For Lily is starting this year strong. The band has now signed a deal with Ranka Kustannus – the label that has also propelled acts like Blind Channel and Cyan Kicks onto the international stage – and today Lust For Lily releases the first single of their new era, “Deathbeds,” accompanied by a striking music video.
Already known for skillfully blending dark atmospheres with raw energy, the band has grown significantly over the past two years. The quartet is clearly aware of this evolution, and “Deathbeds,” which explores themes of despair, detachment, and finality, sets the direction for what’s to come on a larger scale as well. The track was co-produced by Cyan Kicks songwriter-producer Niila Perkkiö.
“We wanted a new but natural direction, and came to the conclusion that we needed to start with something dystopian and big. As a natural continuation of that vision, the story of ‘Deathbeds’ emerged around acceptance. The single came together quickly, and at the same time we realized what we want to do in the future too,” the band explains.
Building their sound on emotional intensity and modern heavy production, the young group represents a new wave of metalcore unafraid of broad expression. The full spectrum of their style is also reflected in the video, directed by Pekka Keränen.
“During the shoot, we got to dive underwater and experience for the first time what a professional music video production is really like. From the very beginning, the whole project had an amazing vibe, and this is exactly how we want to present ourselves as this new chapter begins,” the band sums up.
Lust For Lily is: Aku Olli – vocals, rhythm guitar Oskari Hyökyvaara – lead guitar Aaro Kankaanpää – bass Verneri Hyökyvaara – drums
About two years ago, the female-fronted power metal hopefuls FATAL FIRE released their debut album “Arson”. The band is currently working on their second album, which is set to be released in 2027. Before that, however, they’re delivering a powerful preview of new material and, following a lineup change on guitar and bass, the first statement from their new formation.
With “Mind Maze”, a punchy power metal banger is now available on all streaming platforms, as well as a lyric video on YouTube.
ERADIKATED unleash new single and music video “Mortality”, the third and final single from the upcoming album, “Wiring of Violence”, A battle cry and anthem for all who fight for our future!
The track continues the album’s overarching theme, calling for resistance against the forces driving war, famine, widening inequality, and accelerating climate change. The fact that all the album artwork is painted in real blood creates a striking symbolism that brings visual life to the intense music, but perhaps even more so to the raw, unfiltered lyrics.
With their politically aware storytelling, Eradikated is a band truly needed on the metal scene in 2026, and hopefully they will inspire more young people to take a stand for a better world.
“Mortality is a call to action. Action against this unjust and crumbling system that is falling apart all around us. I think many can relate to the feeling in this day that things now have to change, the old world needs to go. This song is a battle hymn, a call for all of us to struggle for our future.”– Elvin Landaeus Czismadia
The upcoming full-length album Wiring of Violence, release through Indie Recordings May 8.
