HOLLER Release Video for First Single ‘Do You Believe’ from Upcoming Debut Album

Former Eldritch’s frontman Terence Holler‘s New hard rock/AOR solo-project HOLLER have released a video for ‘Do You Believe’, first single taken from the debut album ‘Reborn’ to be released on March 22nd via Scarlet Records.

Brooklyn-born singer and songwriter Terence Holler went solo in 2022, leaving the band he co-founded 31 years ago: international acclaimed prog metal titans Eldritch.

Growing up with a steady diet of Billy Joel, Elton John, Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Monkees, Bay City Rollers, Journey, Boston, Toto, Bruce Springsteen, Kiss and Bon Jovi, these are the main influences he brought in his new project simply called Holler.

When a man loves a woman, and when the woman loves him too… but they can’t be together: a story you have already heard, but you have never heard this one yet.

Holler sings about the greatest love of his life (music? Or that special lady?), through thirteen emotional, refined and cool FM rock songs.

A roller-coaster of feelings and moods that are sometimes contradictory but always damn engaging!

Terence Holler proudly wears his heart on his sleeve revealing the classic rock influences of his upbringing

VOLTUMNA Unveil New Single ‘Vanth’, New EP Out Now

VOLTUMNA have released their new EP “For Death Is Fate”. To celebrate their comeback the band also unveils the visualizer for the track “Vanth”.

The band states: “‘Vanth’ is the muse behind ‘For Death Is Fate,’ featured on the EP’s cover. She accompanies the deceased with the Etruscan Charun on their last journey. Her torch illuminates the darkness and points the way into Hades. ‘Vanth’ is definitely the most decisive and extreme track from the EP, a track which perfectly reconciles our death metal roots with the new path taken by the band.“

BUY THE EP HERE: https://voltumna.bandcamp.com/album/for-death-is-fate

The Lazio lineup is led by guitarist, vocalist and sole original member Haruspex, now joined by drummer Augur Veii and singer, bassist, producer and main composer Phersu.
The genre proposed by VOLTUMNA can fall under the current of blackened death metal of the Polish school. A style that, while partly drawing on the sounds of the best Behemoth, over time has been able to enrich itself with the most varied influences, from the Swedish death metal of At The Gates and Dismember to the melodic black metal of Dissection, Satyricon and Dimmu Borgir.

Armed with an ancestral connection to their Etruscan roots, VOLTUMNA‘s concept and music focus on a historical and anthropological reinterpretation of the ancient world followed by a harsh critique of the long and inexorable phase of decay that runs through the modern world.

Below are the first confirmed live dates of VOLTUMNA:
09.02 Rome – Defrag (Release Party)
23.02 Maribor (Slo) – Dvorana Gustav Pekarna
24.02 Bratislava (Sk) – Randal Club
18.05 Schwedt (Ger) – Devil’s Covenant Fest
19.05 – 26.05 – Polish and Baltic Tour

To celebrate the new METALITE record in glorious style, the band is now premiering a lyric video clip for their latest single “Cyberdome”! METALITE comment:

“Today is the day we all been waiting for! It’s time to release the new album “Expedition One”. It has been a hell of a ride with a lot of singles released over a time period of almost a year. And today we make all songs available in the shape of a massive 16 songs album!

Thanks to everyone involved in the release! Hansen Studios for the great mix and master, Darkgrove for the wonderful artwork, Vassfjord Foto & Media for great pictures, Bullsize, Ted Linden for the great videos, Aimed & Framed for great lyric videos, AFM Records (Nils, Florian, Marcel etc), families, friends and of course our FANS!

Hope you’ll enjoy the album as much as we do!”

Expedition One inspires with a wide range of diverse compositions and an intelligent sci-fi story that couldn’t be more topical. In addition, their fourth album offering manifests the musicians’ amazing artistic development. METALITE‘s visionary sci-fi trip is told over sixteen multi-faceted songs that combine the quintet’s many strengths: powerful and at the same time delicate guitar riffs and solos, anthemic melodies courtesy of vocalist Erica Ohlsson, driving rhythms and cleverly positioned keyboard parts. Expedition One was produced by guitarist Edwin Premberg, and was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen.

LISTEN Burdens single on streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/aop-burdens – Single cover by Valtteri Limnell. Composed by Valtteri Limnell, lyrics by Petteri Ylitalo.

The band comments:

“The EP, which acts as an emotional roller coaster, ends as it began. Burdens hits hard like Waste of Life and takes you to the final stop. The song tells the story of those who have witnessed suicide and self-destruction. The road back is long and rocky; through anger and forgiveness, introspection and acceptance, we can find solace.”
