ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ – the former recording artist for Down Boys Records, which belonged to Erik Turner and Jerry Dixon from the legendary American band Warrant – has released a new video for his song “A Wound That’s Always Bleeding”, taken from his guitar instrumental album “Never Ending Storms”, released July 14th 2023. The track is a nod to the guitar tone of Richie Sambora, with plenty of modern blues and Fender Stratocaster sound. The nostalgic chorus and catchy guitar bass of Patryk Szymanski add to the overall vibe of the track.

According to Citowicz, “In creating this track, I aimed to pay tribute to one of my musical heroes, Richie Sambora, while also injecting my own unique style and sound into the mix. The result is a track that captures the bittersweet feeling of nostalgia and the sense of longing that comes with remembering past hurts.”

The video for “A Wound That’s Always Bleeding” was recorded at Citowicz’s and Patryk Szymanski’s homes, utilizing AI video effects to create a mesmerizing visual accompaniment to the music. Speaking about Szymanski’s contribution to the track, Citowicz says, “Patryk’s bass work adds depth and groove to the track, perfectly complementing my own musical sensibilities.”

The video for “A Wound That’s Always Bleeding” is now available on YouTube, below.

More about “Never Ending Storms” album:

With “Never Ending Storms”, Citowicz wanted to create an album that tells a story and takes listeners on a journey through his life experiences and emotions. “My music is like a diary of my life,” says Citowicz. “I wanted to express my deepest emotions through the guitar and create something that people can connect with on a personal level.”

The album’s title, “Never Ending Storms”, reflects Citowicz’s belief that life is a journey filled with challenges and obstacles. “Life can be tough, but it’s important to keep pushing forward,” says Citowicz. “The storms may never end, but we can learn to navigate them and find beauty in the chaos.”

Citowicz’s unique blend of hard rock and cinematic soundscapes is inspired by his love of both genres. “I’ve always been drawn to the power and emotion of rock music, but I also love the cinematic quality of soundtracks,” says Citowicz. “With ‘Never Ending Storms’, I wanted to combine those two worlds and create something truly unique.”

The album features the incredible drum work of Citowicz himself, as well as his signature guitar sound, keys, and FX, with Patryk Szymanski on bass.

Full album credits:
Music / Guitars / Drums: Andrzej Citowicz
Keys & FX: Andrzej Citowicz

“Never Ending Storms” is available on all major streaming platforms as from today July 14th, and Citowicz is excited to share his music with the world. “I hope that people will connect with the emotions and stories in my music,” says Citowicz. “I want to inspire people to keep pushing forward and find beauty in the storms of life.”

BAD WOLVES Return with First Core Track ‘Bad Friend’ from New Album

Platinum-certified hard rock heavyweights BAD WOLVES fuse unpredictable metallic intensity and impressive musicianship with arena-ready hooks. The group are excited to today (July 21) release across all digital platforms the first single, “Bad Friend,” from their highly anticipated studio album (title TBA) due later this year via Better Noise Music. Stream “Bad Friend” now HERE. “Bad Friend” brings awareness to recognizing the importance of cutting out people in your life who show toxic behavior and moving on from them. BAD WOLVES enlisted director Wombatfire (Asking Alexandria, Dream Theater) for its dark-themed music video which can be seen streaming directly HERE via YouTube.

“‘Bad Friend’ exemplifies exactly where Bad Wolves always wanted to be as a band,” relays vocalist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz. “It lives dead center of being melodically catchy as well as crushingly heavy and is a great representation of our new upcoming album. This song reminds us that TRUE friendship is not about being perfect or always saying the right thing but being there for each other through the good times and the bad. It’s also to be willing to acknowledge one’s own mistakes and make things right. If you can’t do that, you might be a bad f*cking friend.”

Since 2018, BAD WOLVES, whose lineup consists of John Boecklin (drums), Doc Coyle (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Kyle Konkiel (bass, backing vocals), have earned a platinum plaque, topped iTunes, and continued to rule Active Rock radio charts with six #1 singles (“Hear Me Now,” “Killing Me Slowly,” “Lifeline,” “Remember When,” “Sober” and “Zombie”) and two Top 10 singles (“If Tomorrow Never Comes” at #2 and “Learn To Walk Again” at #10).   Their debut album, Disobey, made a Top 25 debut on the Billboard Top 200 and saw BAD WOLVES perform to sold-out audiences on multiple continents with heavyweights such as Five Finger Death Punch and Megadeth. 2019’s N.A.T.I.O.N. brought their total stream tally past the half-billion mark—unprecedented for a modern rock band.  On top of that, Loudwire hailed it among the “50 Best Rock Albums of 2019” as Billboard and Consequence of Sound chronicled their rise. In the midst of 2021, they welcomed Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz—previously of The Acacia Strain—as lead vocalist, ushering in a new chapter with their third full-length offering, Dear Monster.

BAD WOLVES are currently on a headlining tour with support from For The Fallen Dreams, The Funeral Portrait and Inimical Drive until July 28. Next, they head out with Asking Alexandria and The Hu on their co-headlining “Psycho Thunder” tour across the U.S. from August 30 to October 8. Tickets are on-sale now at https://badwolvesnation.com/pages/tour. See full dates listed below.

Boecklin shares: “Playing new material from our upcoming record with our label mates Asking Alexandria and The HU is exactly what we want to be doing this Fall. See y’all there!”

CADAVER Release Lyric Video for ‘Deadly Metal’, New Album Out Now

Posted by tarjavirmakari on July 23, 2023
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: CADAVER. Leave a comment

The wait is over! Norwegian death metallers, CADAVER unleash their sixth studio album, The Age Of The Offended, via Nuclear Blast Records. True to the band’s primitive roots and an audacious, ground-breaking, psychedelic horror show, the album is an angry, fucked up album for angry, fucked up times, defiantly created against the odds.

The band also releases the lyric video for the menacing track, ‘Deadly Metal’.

Anders Odden comments, “We are proud to finally release the new album which we believe will bring Cadaver into a new an exciting era! This album combines 35 years of working hard to not fit into conventional expectations of what is possible to do in extreme metal music with humor and attitude. Life is too important to be taken seriously. Enjoy ????”

For The Age Of The Offended the band decided to compile footage about today’s climate of everyone being offended and what it means to music and art.

The first episode discusses the band’s legacy, being involved in the Norwegian Extreme Metal scene, and takes fans around Oslo on the ‘Black Metal Bus Sightseeing Tour’.

The Age Of The Offended was recorded at Daufembach Studio, Villa Necro, Studio Tomb, and Studio Studio. Adair Daufembach was responsible for producing, engineering, mixing, and mastering. Kjartan Hesthagen also assisted with the engineering working in tandem with the band and Adair. The band enlisted Fleshflies to create the artwork for The Age Of The Offended.

SYLOSIS Reveal Video for Title Track ‘A Sign Of Things To Come’ of New Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on July 23, 2023
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: Sylosis. Leave a comment

UK’s heavy metal machine SYLOSIS unveils the title track of their brand-new album, ‘A Sign Of Things To Come’. The new song speaks from Josh Middleton’s position as a new father and his fears of the world that his children will one day inherit.

Josh comments “‘A Sign Of Things To Come’ is a declaration of dismay towards the modern world. It’s about the anxiety of what the future holds and the feeling of division in a society where everyone is pitted against each other. This was the last song to be written for the album. It quickly became apparent that this was going to be one of the biggest, most anthemic songs on the record.”

Produced by Josh Middleton, alongside production legend, Scott Atkins, A Sign Of Things To Come has challenged SYLOSIS into brand-new territory.

“This is the first time I’ve allowed myself to be produced; taking on some brutal criticism and pushing myself to deliver the best vocal performance of my career. I’m a big fan of progressive and long albums, but I was ruthless on myself during the whole process. I think that shows in the final result on the record!” Josh states.

HALFLIGHTED Unleash Powerful New Music Video for ‘Ànima Fosca’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on July 23, 2023
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: HALFLIGHTED. Leave a comment

Sludge/death metal juggernauts HALFLIGHTED present their latest offering to the metal world. The band is thrilled to announce the release of the official music video for their track “Ànima Fosca,” taken from their highly acclaimed album “Obloquy,” available now via Wormholedeath.

“Ànima Fosca” delves into a world of darkness and introspection. They paint a vivid picture of a desolate landscape where the sun hides, demons lurk in the shadows, and tormented souls face punishment in the depths of hell. the song evokes a bleak and introspective mood, exploring themes of existential questioning, inner turmoil, and the struggle to break free.

“We are proud to share with you our brand new video clip for Ànima Fosca, a bleak tale of inner struggle and despair. This is the first instance in which we display ourselves performing, but it certainly won’t be the last!”

The visuals in the “Ànima Fosca” music video were recorded and created by the talented Jose Dasairas.

Halflighted was born in 2018 in Catalonia, conceived by the minds of Óskart and Mark following the disbandment of Mark’s previous Death Metal project, Dryzer. What started as a Death Doom Metal endeavor slowly evolved into an eclectic and genre-defying force as the current line-up solidified over the years.

Halflighted’s “Obloquy” is the fusion of five completely divergent influences, converging at a point far removed from any compromises with the listener. This extraordinary album presents a potent blend of sludge-infused melodies, exploring Gothic undertones, unleashing Death Metal forces, infusing Progressive nuances, adorned with classic Rock drumming, and laced with an enchanting touch of Psychedelia. “Obloquy” is a genre-defying opus, an unyielding testament to the boundless creativity of Halflighted.

The band’s lineup comprises:
Óskart: Guitar
Mark: Bass, Vocals
Varg The Mighty: Guitar, Synth, Vocals
Pepe: Drums
MAD: Vocals

“Obloquy” is now available on all major digital platforms. Stream and download the album today: https://orcd.co/obloquy
