Don’t get distracted by the title: it’s misleading.

In this fifth full length, Alessandro and Jessica maintain the spirit of the most modern and contaminated punk as far as the sound is concerned; the attitude and the influences remind the greatest 90s hits by Offspring, Green Day and Blink 182 (also mentioned in one of the songs). But the atmosphere is different: we don’t hear the happy punk fitting for a party. On the contrary, there’s a melancholy aura that surrounds everything.

Likewise, the lyrics are a great test bed for the author’s introspection and self-analysis. Questions, lots of questions. A recurring topic is the course of time, the fear of not devoting enough time to the ones we love and to ourselves and the invitation to enjoy the smallest things.

This is the most mature album of DISSOCIATIVE TV‘s discography, so going down to the core and get some food for thoughts will be worth it.

The year was 2017 and punk rock started to echo in a small mountain town in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy.

Jessica is gaining confidence at playing drums and Alessandro is fresh from a pause after his former bands: why don’t we create a duo? Why not?

This is how Dissociative Tv see the light: less (people in the band) is more and the goals to achieve are written down on the post-it notes stuck on the fridge. Alessandro and Jessica are indeed not only partners on the stage but also in private life.

These two next door guys have collected many concerts in Italy and abroad during these 6 years; the mission of their music is to make the audience jump and have fun to the sound of punk rock. But not only that: in the 4 albums and 6 singles released until now, they enjoyed writing nu metal, folk rock and acoustic songs, too. Punk attitude also means banishing boredom after all, isn’t it?

IMMORTALIZER is a personal project of Dave D.R. 

Dave D.R. is a multi-instrumentalist recording artist and performer from Ontario Canada. He released his debut EP on CD & 7″ vinyl in 2016 and on social media in 2020. 

He has always tried his best to create new and exciting music. When he started writing material for Immortalizer, he wanted to create something original but that still had a vintage feel to it. His aim is not to copy what’s already been done but rather to contribute something fresh and entertaining. He hopes you’ll agree once you’ve heard the music. 

Immortalizer unleashed the debut album “Born For Metal” on Friday The 13th of January 2023! Featuring special guest vocals by Ralf Scheepers on the single “We Were Born For Metal”! JULIEN-K Debut New Single + Official Music Video ‘Your Tears Mean Nothing’

Industrial/electro rockers Julien-K, founded by original Orgy members Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh debuted their new single “Your Tears Mean Nothing” along with the official music video today via FRAME|WORK. The single was written by Julien-K, produced and mixed by Amir Derakh.

“Your Tears Mean Nothing” is the 1st single and video from Julien-K’s upcoming DRK|MODE collection. In stark contrast to the guitar heavy Harmonic Disruptor and the upcoming Trauma Echoes album, DRK|MODE was created using almost no guitars. The band wanted the challenge of retaining their signature dark & heavy sound and emotional feel while using only synthesizers.

Julien-K was premiering songs from DRK|MODE live at Transplants Brewery in Palmdale CA on May 19 and at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles on May 20th before leaving on a JULY + AUG nationwide tour with Powerman 5000 and former Ghost members new project Priest.

Julien-K is an independent electro-rock band formed in Long Beach CA in 2008 by long time friends and collaborators Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck (founding members of Orgy, Dead By Sunrise). Later joined by Anthony “Fu” Valcic in 2009, the band recorded it’s now classic debut album Death To Analog. Over the last 10 years, the band has released multiple albums and toured extensively, and has become one of the most successful crowd-funded bands in the world. GIGANTOMACHIA Release New Single + Video ‘Gargani Gemini’

HELLOWEEN Inducted to Metal Hall Of Fame by Alissa White-Gluz of ARCH ENEMY

German power metal band Helloween was Inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame by founder Pat Gesualdo and special guest Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy. The Induction took place on May 20, 2023, in front of thousands of fans at Terminal 5 in New York City.

Known as a major European Power Heavy Metal band, Helloween  have performed at festivals and concerts alongside Iron Maiden, David Lee Roth, KISS, Megadeth, and Guns N’ Roses, among others.

“Helloween have helped establish the origins of the Power Metal genre,” says Metal Hall of Fame Founder/CEO Pat Gesualdo. “We are proud to have Helloween represent the genre and it’s fans throughout the world, and to have Alissa White–Gluz join us in the Induction as well.”

“It´s truly an honor to be inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame!
