Cork contemporary Metal artists, FOLLOWING THE SIGNS have released their debut studio album ‘CONFLICTIONS’, alongside a brand new video/single ‘Exposed’.

Access the ‘Conflictions’ album here.

Speaking of the new album, the band commented: “The album consists of 12 tracks. We wanted to really show our diversity from anything we had done before and bring a new era of the band to life and worked hard to do that.”
‘Conflictions‘ is best described as heavy groove and metalcore combined with all of us finding our inspiration from our influences individually, bringing it all together to create our own sound.
Every member of the band has different influences, which brings a lot of richness to our sound. Dan’s vocal influences are mainly Whitechapel, Linkin Park, and Motionless in White. Regarding the guitars, Noel’s and Vinny’s main influences are Slipknot, Deftones, Sepultura, and Lamb of God.
Finally, Rory, who plays finger style bass, it’s more Sepultura, Black Sabbath and Korn. All these influences offer a mix to suit the band, and are the origin of very different vibes within the album.
From start to finish we aimed to catch people’s attention right off the bat, whether it was the first notes played on the guitars, or the velocity of the vocals accompanying. We definitely aimed for a darker theme lyrically, talking across a range of emotions and thoughts people could really get behind while the instruments set the vibe for everything to fall into place.
Today, Following the Signs can be characterized as Groovy Metalcore, with melodic and intense riffs.”

Dan Hayes (Vocals)
Noel Crowley (Guitars)
Vincent Renoux (Guitars)
Rory Taylor (bass)

3TEETH Announce New Album, Out September 22nd, Share New Track + Video for ‘Scorpion’

Four years after the release of their last full-length album and with several teases of new music unleashed the past few months, 3TEETH is now sharing all the details behind their much-anticipated LP EndEx coming this fall.

EndEx will be released by Century Media Records on September 22 , showcasing the modern industrial act at their most raucous yet, unveiling bold revelations of humanity’s technosocial disintegration behind a brutal soundtrack that sounds all the alarms.

After giving the first glimpse at the new material with the early release of “Paralyze” (featuring Ho99o9), 3TEETH re-emerged in May with more previews, including their gripping sonic salvo, “Merchant of the Void” that touches on the bleak landscape of modern society amid A.I. takeovers and economic collapse.

It was hailed as a one of the “best new songs” by Metal Hammer and Revolver. While Metal Hammer says the song “traces lineage in both Al Jourgensen and Trent Reznor,” Revolver hails the song as “utterly gigantic and over-the-top in the best way possible” and applauds the return of 3TEETH in 2023 at a time “when we needed their apocalyptic, incendiary industrial-metal most.”

Ahead of the release of EndEx in late September, 3TEETH will continue to release a new single every month. Other highlights on the album include a cover of Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” continuing 3TEETH’s penchant for aggressive reworks of pop songs, previously seen on Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks,” Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz” and Dead or Alive’s “You Spin Me Round (Like A Record).”

To lay the foundation for the new material, 3TEETH migrated to the deserted quiet of Joshua Tree, escaping from the palpable anxiety of their hometown of Los Angeles for fresh new perspective. The material is currently being wrapped up with a solid extended team including the accomplished sound designer Mick Gordon (best known for his work on the gaming phenomenon DOOM) who produced several of the tracks along with producer Nick Rowe and mixer Sean Beavan (NIN), bringing in another dimension to the band’s unmistakable sound.

Says Gordon, “3TEETH are one of my favorite acts. They proudly fly their own unique flag. The new album charts course through the next stage of our vanity-led evolution as a species, and by that I mean the album is a world unto itself. I ’m just stoked that these guys have allowed me along for the ride.”

EndEx Tracklist:

  1. Xenogenesis
  2. Acme Death Machine
  3. Slum Planet
  4. What’s Left
  5. Merchant of the Void
  6. Higher Than Death
  7. ALI3N
  8. Plutonomicon
  9. Paralyze (feat. Ho99o9)
  10. Scorpion
  11. Drift
  12. Everybody Wants To Rule The World

RAVEN Release Video for Title Track ‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’, New Album Out Now

New Wave of British Heavy Metal stalwarts RAVEN have unleashed their ferocious new album ‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’, out now via Silver Lining Music. Order/Listen now at this location.

Prepare yourself for a metal rampage the likes of which you haven’t enjoyed in many a year as New Wave of British Heavy Metal stalwarts RAVEN deliver the electric mayhem of All Hell’s Breaking Loose, their 15th studio album.

Furthermore, RAVEN have unleashed the ear-splitting title track ‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’.

The video features co-founding bassist and vocalist John Gallagher restrained in a straitjacket with his mouth gaffer-taped shut, followed by scenes of explosions and destruction. Musically, ‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’ twists and turns with accents and flavours buried inside the chaos, perfectly capturing the sheer desperation felt by us all especially whilst in lockdown, during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“Lyrically the song is about the constrictions of being locked down during the pandemic and the desire and need to ‘break free’ from it all or risking going insane…” explains co-founding member and guitarist Mark Gallagher. “It’s about taking control of your freedom!” Mark exclaims.

“‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’ is a kick-ass song starting with Mark laughing his head off, which we took from another part of the recording session and glued on to the intro ‘cause it just sounded killer crazy!” enthuses John. “It then gets into this straight, “real” RAVEN riff… the part before the chorus is super heavy… 100% in yer face kill your neighbors heavy metal!!”

The Newcastle pioneers, formed by the Gallagher brothers (bassist/vocalist John and guitarist Mark) and rounded out by drummer extraordinaire Mike Heller have emerged from Heller’s own Heaven And Heller Studios in Los Angeles with 10 crisp, visceral metal classics, each fused with riffs, twists, turns, chaos and more hooks than all the Hellraiser movies combined (think hyperbole, ‘turn-it-UP’ and find out for yourself)!

‘Go For The Gold’ is an amalgamation of riffs and furious, percussive madness, yet behind it all a melodic journey that makes it multi-dimensional skull-crushing. Meanwhile ‘Surf The Tsunami’ sees Heller gatecrash your eardrums with a furious flurry of his own, before some supreme twister riffs bring on the full metal chaos; ‘Turn Of The Screw’ bounces on the upbeats before smashing you with a thunderous chorus; ‘The Far Side’ has as classic a metal riff as you’ll hear in 2023; ‘Desperate Measures’ is pure ’81-saturated tales of hardship and despair, if you ever wondered what RAVEN at the Marquee were like on a sweaty metal night in ’83; ‘Edge of A Nightmare’ is your portal to paradise, thundering as hard as the opener ‘Medieval’.
