After three decades spent blowing speakers and minds alike, Midwest metal magnates, SOiL, celebrate their long list of compositional accomplishments with Restoration, a brand-new set of studio recordings of the band’s biggest hits throughout their prolific history. Restoration highlights the band’s best musical moments, including smash hit singles, “Halo” and “Breaking Down,” from their 2001 award-winning album, Scars.
A standout addition to this compilation is the song, “The Lesser Man,” which originally appeared on 2009’s Picture Perfect with SOiL’s second vocalist, AJ Cavalier. The song ended up blowing up to become a top 20 radio hit on both mainstream and active rock. Restoration’s re-recording of the song features original SOiL vocalist, Ryan McCombs, breathing new life into the chart-topping anthem. “Ryan’s vocals add a new twist and direction to the song. It truly gives it a breath of fresh air,” declares SOiL bassist, Tim King.
VELVET INSANE have released the second single from the upcoming album “High Heeled monster”, this time they team up with Dregen (The Hellacopters, Backyard Babies), Chips Kiesbey (Sator) and Bonni Pontén (Asta Kask). To bring the noise even louder the boys are also releasing a retro fueled video courtesy of Erwan Lengliné.

The song “Saturday Night Till Sunday Mornin”, which is a perfect “anthem” for the pre-party at the campsite before the rock festival, is a cover of the legendary punk band Slaughter And The Dogs.
“Slaughter And The Dogs’ debut album was one of the first albums I bought in the late 70s. That record showed me how to play guitar and write songs. We played several of their songs in my first band. It is an honor to be a part of this. This is a later song but as good as their early ones and Velvet Insane is definitely the right band for this” – Chips

Time for the second single and video from the upcoming EP of the Portuguese progressive/alternative metal band ALLAMEDAH. “The Great Unknown” is a song showing the Lisbon-based band’s ability to write seemingly simple tunes, yet multi-layered. Epic in the chorus, “The Great Unknown” builds up in a perfect way and balances effortlessly melody and heaviness.
“We are drawn to the great unknown, to the vast expanse of possibility that lies beyond the edges of our understanding”, vocalist David Bitton comments about the lyrical approach of the single. “It is a call that echoes in the depths of our souls, urging us to step outside of the familiar and embrace the mystery and wonder of the world”.
“At times, the unknown can seem daunting and overwhelming”, he continues. “It can be difficult to face the uncertainty of what lies ahead and to confront the limits of our knowledge and understanding. But it is also a source of immense possibility, a reminder that there is always something new to discover and explore”.

Allamedah is a Portuguese metal band, founded in 2016 by singer and guitarist David Bitton and drummer João Faria. The group’s sound is evidently marked by modern metal and the fusion with other musical genres, such as fado and rap, as demonstrated by the collaborations on the previously released song “Algema”, with fado singer Valéria and the Portuguese guitar player João Luzio; and “Incerto”, which featured American rapper Jayneto. They sing mainly in Portuguese and English, with the occasional use of Hebrew.
Following the signing with the German/Danish label UPRISING! Records, Allamedah will release their debut EP “Alma”, containing three new tracks. The title track is sung in both Portuguese and English, with lyrics about letting go of the ego, and features the huge talent of Ricardo Gordo in the amazing Portuguese guitar “Desvanescente” is a Portuguese-sung tune, with an evident pop/rock approach on one side, and an amazing guitar solo (courtesy of Brazilian axeman Roberto Barros, of Edu Falaschi’s band), while lyrics approach the ephemeral side of social media. “The Great Unknown” explores the more melodic side of Allamedah, in a totally English language song with amazing vocal layers.
Three different songs with the guideline of Allamedah’s unsettled talent and with great individual potential. All in all, a confident and bold step for the Lisboa collective, showing they’re no longer one of the best-kept secrets in the Portuguese scene – but are looking to bring their art forth and abroad.

Today, BLACK OAK COUNTY premiere a brand new hard-rocking single and video, “It’s On You”! The Danish hard rock quartet is out with their second single from the band’s coming third album.
A follow-up to the band’s latest single release “Back For Blood” and their recently completed tour of Denmark with label mates Junkyard Drive, which took the band across the country. With its super sludgy low-tuned riff, the song has the band reach out into more melodic territory in its huge chorus, without compromising on the band’s signature heaviness.
Written in collaboration with legendary side-man, producer, engineer and songwriter Soren Andersen, and recorded at the world-famous Hansen Studios, produced, mixed, and mastered by Grammy nominee Jacob Hansen, the renowned mixing engineer and producer behind releases by mega-artists such as Volbeat, Amaranthe, Mustasch, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Jesper Binzer and countless others.
The accompanying music video was shot and edited by Rasmus Alenkær at the band’s stop at Kosmorama, Bramming.

Today, THE PROPHECY 23 have shared a video clip for the Summer Breeze live version of “I Wish I Could Skate”! Says vocalist and guitarist Hannes: “The longing for freedom can be well compared to skateboarding. Skateboarding is like real life, you can only make it if you fall on your face 1000 times and get back up and try again, eventually it will work out.
The song is dedicated to all the people who have been knocked down and had to get up again. Although the song hasn’t been played live much before because of the pandemic, the fans at the Summer Breeze sang along loudly to the sing-along part at the end of the song – a goosebump moment for us as a band.”
Live At Summer Breeze was recorded by Julian Ruppel, and was mixed and mastered by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio. Aside CD and digital formats, the limited box set will be released on August 11, 2023 – one week before Summer Breeze 2023 – and contains a bunch of cool festival gadgets such as flag, terry sweat wristbands, stickers, signed autograph card and official Summer Breeze merch. Non Serviam Records proudlyannounces the signing of Spanish black metallers DANTALION.
