Finnish melodic death metal force SIGYN have released their sophomore full-length album “From Nation To Chaos”, which is out today via Noble Demon!

Originally formed in 2008 in Helsinki, SIGYN operate within what can best be described as “Epic Melodeath” – a powerful blend of heavy riffs, fast-paced aggression, and memorable melodies, occasionally enriched with symphonic elements. Drawing inspiration from the early 2000s Finnish metal scene, the band fuses intensity and atmosphere into a modern yet unmistakably classic melodic death metal sound.
With “From Nation To Chaos”, SIGYN continue to refine their identity – combining soaring melodies, relentless riffing, and an epic sense of scale that will appeal to fans of Children Of Bodom, Wintersun, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, and Cradle Of Filth.

In January 2023, the band released their second album, ‘2 MAKE U CRY & DANCE,’ earning positive reviews across multiple countries. This was followed by a Brazilian headlining tour through 12 cities in six different states. The momentum continued as ELECTRIC MOB joined forces with Project 46 for a nationwide run that expanded into Brazil’s Northeast.
Their live streak carried into 2024 and 2025 with a strong presence at major festivals, including Summer Breeze Brasil, now known as Bangers Open Air, where Billboard Brasil cited the band as “one of the most praised performances of the event.” Additional highlights include a main stage appearance at Capital Moto Week, which resulted in the live recording ‘Live @ Capital Moto Week,’ and performances at Porão do Rock (DF), Mundial Rock (SC), SBO Rock Fest (SP), and HackTown (MG).

GARGANT unleashes a powerful and immersive form of Dark Power Metal, driven by massive riffs, dark atmospheres, and soaring epic melodies. Rooted in the spirit of 90s metal, their sound stands as a colossal and defiant force while pushing forward with a modern and commanding signature.
Today, GARGANT proudly presents “Fallen King”, the latest music video from the acclaimed debut album “Dead Night Defiance“, released worldwide through Fireflash Records on September 25th.
Rather than telling a traditional story of heroes and villains, “Fallen King” explores the idea of evil against evil, where no heroes remain. Set in the kingdom of pain, the song follows two ruthless forces locked in a merciless battle for the throne, proving that in a world consumed by darkness, victory belongs not to the righteous, but to the one with the strongest will to conquer and rule.
“This wasn’t just about making a music video. It was about bringing another chapter of our world to life, using images that carry the same darkness, atmosphere, and emotion as the music itself. I like our videos to be straight to the point, capturing the same energy we deliver on stage while telling the story through visual metaphors. For ‘Fallen King,’ the visual direction was inspired by the golden age of Heavy Metal videos, reimagined through our own dark fantasy vision. Every scene is meant to pull you deeper into the story and make you bang your head with us. All hail the King”, comments vocalsit Guilherme Sevens, who also directed the video clip and is known for his work with Queen, Metal Mike, Dave Evans from AC/DC, and Adagio. “Visually, we wanted to move away from the polished aesthetic of modern music videos and pay tribute to the classic Heavy Metal videos we grew up watching in the 1990s. That’s why we embraced a 4:3 aspect ratio, extensive black-and-white cinematography and strong Film Noir influences. The contrast between light and shadow mirrors the song’s central theme: evil against a greater evil. Every GARGANT video is another chapter of the same universe, and ‘Fallen King’ expands that mythology through a timeless visual language that feels both nostalgic and cinematic.
“Dead Night Defiance” is now availabe for physical pre-order and will be released on CD (with a bonus-track and a 20-page booklet) as well as on colored vinyl (incl. bonus track, 4-page insert and a signed autographcard).
Heavy Metal. Dark Fantasy. Now forged in Steel, CD & Vinyl.
Their debut album Dead Night Defiance, recorded at Tellus Studio and produced, mixed, and mastered by Caio Mendonça alongside the band, stands as a defining statement of their sound.
Beyond the music, GARGANT builds a complete artistic universe. Their compositions, music videos, and visual elements function as interconnected chapters of a larger narrative. Drawing inspiration from comics, cinema, painting, architecture, and literature, the band crafts dense and immersive worlds that mirror the depth of their sound.
Founded by veterans of the Brazilian Heavy Metal scene, GARGANT features vocalist Guilherme Sevens, guitarists Caio Mendonça and Leandro Carvalho, bassist Paulo Doc, and drummer Phill Drigues. Together, they bring extensive touring experience across Europe and South America, a strong background in metal production, and a unified artistic direction that defines the band’s mature and confident presence.
GARGANT pushes forward with unwavering purpose and relentless drive, breaking beyond borders and expanding its global reach. With a growing international presence and a distinct sound, the band stands ready to bring its colossal and defiant force to stages worldwide.
On 7 June, the first single, “Wanderer in den Schatten”, from the new album “Knochenkabinett” was released – and now the mysterious and reclusive Wallfahrer is climbing to the “Gipfelthron”.
You can experience this musically and lyrically in the new video below – an eleven-minute, solitary journey into the heart of mother nature.
The band had already released their highly acclaimed debut album “Anthologie der Abkehr” independently at the end of April 2018, with the creators remaining completely anonymous even when it came to the band’s biography.
From the outset, the musicians deliberately kept their identities and backgrounds under wraps so as not to distract from the idea behind the band, or its message or statement.
Given their musical prowess, speculation arose in the music press and within genre circles that established musicians were behind the project … [ … find out more here » ]

Italian melodic death metal force New Sun have unveiled their new single and lyric video, “Creating My Empire,” taken from their upcoming debut album Hanged’s Fate, set for release on August 7, 2026, via Wormholedeath Records.
“Creating My Empire” is a statement of resilience and personal transformation, where soaring melodies and crushing riffs accompany a journey through darkness, inner conflict, and rebirth. The empire becomes a metaphor for identity: our convictions can turn into the walls that separate us from the world. It’s the character himself who builds those barriers: with his own beliefs, he raises the “wall of his empire,” cutting ties with everyone and everything to defend what he believes in. In the pursuit of certainty, those walls keep growing higher, and what emerges is loneliness — a self-imposed exile, brick by brick. From there begins the real battle: confronting the prison we’ve built for ourselves, breaking free from our own chains — or our own wall — and rebuilding, step by step, until strength rises from the shadows.
Born in the Italian underground, New Sun delivers a crushing blend of Death, Groove, and Black Metal. Their debut album, Hanged’s Fate, is a heavy journey through the human condition, exploring what happens when control collapses, and the road to rebirth begins. Driven by the standout single “Drag Me Down,” the record is a furious, liberating anthem about hitting rock bottom and breaking your own chains.
Last Friday marked the release of LUCID DREAMING’s new album, “Upon The Barricades.” It tells the story of Germany in the first half of the 19th century.
Songwriter Till Oberboßel: “It’s the story of how we tried to establish a national state after shaking off Napoleon’s yoke, how we started a revolution, and how it all failed.”
The story begins in the year 1815. The Napoleonic Wars are over and Europe’s political and constitutional order needs a new layout. In Vienna, an enormous congress is held and among the many agreements made there, the founding of the German Confederation is most important. A central figure is Austria’s foreign minister Klemens von Metternich who aims to restore an order based on absolute monarchy. In 1819, he uses the murder of conservative dramatist August von Kotzebue as an excuse to introduce the Karlsbad Decrees, draconic laws of censorship, and suppress any nationalist or liberal movements.
The album, produced by Uwe Lulis (Accept), was recorded with an incredible number of guest musicians: Blaze Bayley, Zak Stevens, Harry Conklin, Ralf Scheepers, Piet Sielck, Daniel Heiman, Andreas Geremia, Siegfried Schüßler, Deon van Heerden, Giuseppe Cialone, George Thomaidis, Said Khochsima, HP Piller, Krsto Balic, Rain Irving, Marius Danielsen, Erdmann Görg and Alessio Perardi, a kind of “Who is who” of international metal scene.
True to the motto “More Metal – Less Keyboards,” the theme is, as expected, executed with power and full force: TIME FOR REVOLUTION!
With the release, the spotlight is also on “Black And Red And Gold,” the first “collaboration” between Zak Stevens (SAVATAGE) and Harry Conklin (Jag Panzer)—a song that reminds us what black, red and gold really stand for!
