‘I’ll Remember You!’ is a tale of tragedy & loss, where the living can’t let go of the dead. Can love and faith conquer all? Not when you sleep on the grave and disturb the woodland Spirits in this sacred place on all Hallows night! The nearest the Pistoleros ever get to a ballad, but this ballad kicks. 

New album ‘Duende A Go Go Loco!‘  is going to be hailed as the band’s masterpiece; an album that brings together all facets of this unique mongrel offspring of fiery flamenco passion and gritty gutter glam Punk. 

The Gypsy Pistoleros defy the rules, born roaming somewhere between Zaragoza and Worcester, brought into the world to a soundtrack stack-heeled anthems of sleazy ’70s Glam. The songs span madly in the best rock ‘n’ roll tradition with big hooks, attitude, and sleaze. Yet those flamenco breaks got into your head and refused to leave – this hybrid rocks.

JIM PETERIK & WORLD STAGE concept, rooted in the idea of musical and spiritual collaborations among artists and friends, has announced a new album, ‘Roots & Shoots Vol.1,’ out January 12th, 2024 on Frontiers Music Srl.

Amalgama (CZ/NL/UA) is an international metal project started by Vlad “Graf” Ivoilov, which was later joined by Timo Sommers and Joey Martin De Boer (both formerly of Dutch Symphonic Metal Band Delain). Roman Valeryev and Clown (official mascot and fifth member) round out the line-up. The band has released five studio albums as well as numerous singles.

Amalgama has played approximately 450 concerts in countries such as Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine. The band has also shared the stage with iconic bands like as Sonata Arctica, Judas Priest, Lordi, Blind Guardian, Dirk Schneider, Dragonforce, Grave Digger, Ross the Boss, W.A.S.P., Steel Panther, U.D.O., Airbourne, Hammerfall, Uriah Heep, Scorpions, and others.

Amalgama attracted audience attention and garnered great popularity after performing at the Czech festival Winter Masters of Rock. In the summer of 2022, Amalgama released the album Brothers in Rock, which featured tracks made in collaboration with U.D.O. guitarist Andrey Smirnov. This productive collaboration came after a successful tour with U.D.O. in 2018 as part of the “Steel Factory Tour.” The album Brothers In Rock launched the band into a new era of success. Its hits “Dark Knight” and “Lonely Voice” were the band’s defining tunes for a new audience, who soon embraced their style and became passionate fans.

In the same year, the band performed at several major European festivals, including Metal Fest, Masters Of Rock, and Rock Castle, and frequently shared the stage with Judas Priest on their

summer tour in 2022. To promote the album, Amalgama embarked on a European tour with the band Lordi, establishing their status in the European metal scene.

Fueled by their popularity and fan support, the band began work on a new album, Back to the 80s, which was released in September 2023. It was preceded by two singles: the eponymous “Back to the 80s” and the ballad “Save Me,” both of which had music videos.

“This is a perspective of death…from deaths perspective if death were really a figure. Death knows all and is the only one true certain fact of life. About THE MONARCH:

Formed in 2003, The Monarch is the brainchild of drummer Dave Kinkade. Although not quite commonplace having a band crafted by a drummer, that is just one of the many qualities that makes The Monarch stand out when it comes to modern day heavy metal. Kinkade’s sonic vision derives from the combining of elements from inspirational bands like Metallica, Pantera, Dissection and Opeth, and has turned The Monarch sound into a progressive, melodic form of timeless heavy metal with an “always epic” approach. Every song needs to live in its own world. Starting with that perfect “hook” riff for the verse and giving it a monumental chorus that will burn its way into the humming minds of even the most casual of listeners.

Although drafted 20 years ago, the project was always placed on the back burner for Kinkade to focus on already established bands including Soulfly, Borknagar, Arsis, Council of the Fallen, Divine Empire and Malevolent Creation. In 2012, Kinkade took an 8-year hiatus from music after his tenure as the drummer for Soulfly during their Enslaved album era so he could focus on family and eventually have lower back surgery, which plagued him for the years leading up after a bicycling injury when he lived in The Netherland in 2007.

In 2020, he decided to come back to playing music and chose to make The Monarch, his musical priority. 2021 saw the release of debut album “All the World’s Pain”, a collection of material that Kinkade had been writing since the formation of the band. Soon after the first release, writing for a follow-up album began. It was decided to continue with musicians not only of the highest caliber, but guys who had been around the block and know what months on end of touring feels like. Granted there were some talented players on the first album, but you cannot expect a guy with a career as an EMT and a family to put his life on hold to go touring.

As the crafting of new material progressed, Kinkade’s former Soulfly bandmate, guitarist Marc Rizzo (Ill Niño, Soulfly) approached him about playing music together again. It was agreed that The Monarch would be the ideal collaborative project, as Rizzo‘s aggressive, yet soulful, guitar style would be the perfect complement to the band’s sound. Soon after, bassist Tony Campos (Static-X/ Fear Factory) was invited into the fold as Kinkade, Rizzo and Campos had all previously worked together in Soulfly. Campos provides a punishing low end and would prove to be another perfect fit for The Monarch sound. Guitarist Marco Martell also joined the band shortly before the studio sessions began. Martell and Kinkade played together in Malevolent Creation (2005-2006) and share many similar influences. Topping off the lineup would be vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within) who had previously been approached by Kinkade about singing in the early 2000’s. Clancy’s experience and exceptionally well-rehearsed talent was welcomed to the band, and he is proving himself as one of the best singers on the planet through his performance on the album. The album was mixed and mastered by legendary producer Chris Collier (KoRn/ Whitesnake/ Prong). Now in the end of 2023, the band intends on supporting the release of the album by planning the live debut for 2024.

The Monarch’s new album A Moment to Lose Your Breath will be released November 17, 2023.

The album was recorded by producer Vincent Ippolito (guitarist-Glacier) at Swift Road Studios in Arlington Heights Illinois and mixed & mastered by producer Chris Collier at CMC21 Productions in Las Vegas Nevada.

THE AMENTA Unleash New Video ‘Sono L’Antichristo’

On the night where all sinister cosmic energies merge to unleash horror, Australian extremists THE AMENTA fittingly revealed a video for their hymn to Satan – ‘Sono L’Antichristo‘.

‘Sono L’Antichristo‘ is a reworking of the DIAMANDA GALÁS composition. While the original version bewitches with brooding ambient and shocking noise, THE AMENTA build a cold, devastating Extreme Metal armor around obscure and hysterical chants – including blasting drums courtesy of David Haley (PSYCROPTIC).

THE AMENTA‘s keyboard player Timothy Pope narrates:

“DIAMANDA GALÁS is an artist who should need no introduction. Her voice is incomparable to any other and her work is sui generis. ‘Sono L’Antichristo‘ was originally on her incredible “Plague Mass” album which was the first album of hers I had heard. Not long after hearing this album, Erik and I found out that DIAMANDA GALÁS was playing in Sydney at the Opera House. We jumped in the car, desperate to see a live performance of this wild and soul-scouring work, but by the time we got there the show had started and the doors were locked. On the way to the bar to drown our sorrows, we passed the merch store which proudly displayed GALÁS‘ book “The Shit Of God” (later I found this to be a line from ‘Sono L’Antichristo‘) and we knew we had missed a life-changing performance. Later, at the bar, we would watch scores of well-dressed, well-to-do people, streaming from the exits at intermission, never to return. She had driven them out. On top of her more “avant-garde” work, DIAMANDA GALÁS is one of the greatest interpreters of classic song and it is in this spirit that she is, in some ways, the patron saint of the whole “Plague Of Locus” release. Our version of the song, and the film clip we now release, can be seen as not only a tribute to an artist who has greatly inspired us over the years, but also a glimpse into what we imagined was happening behind those closed Opera House doors. The fever dreams of two disappointed metalheads.“

THE AMENTA is ugly, dissonant, electronically-lacerated Extreme Metal from Australia, featuring the core creative line-up of Cain Cressall (Vocals), Erik Miehs (Guitars) and Timothy Pope (Keyboards, Samples & Effects) with Dan Quinlan (Bass) and drummer David Haley (PSYCROPTIC, ex-ABORTED) rounding out the lineup.

Early experiments with dissonance resulted in 2002’s “Mictlan” MCD. Two years later, the band had signed to Listenable Records who released the debut full length, “Occasus”. Next came 2008’s divisive “n0n” album. “n0n” was a dense, ugly, sprawling hymn to urban decay. A filthy paean to political manipulation. It was anti-everything.

Upon returning to Australia after extensive European and American touring THE AMENTA, recorded a free download of a huge multimedia release in 2011 entitled “V01D”. The release featured the new title track, re-recordings of tracks from the two previous albums, as well as professionally filmed and recorded live performances and film clips. The new song showcased one of many new directions THE AMENTA could take. Epic chords held in stasis by drones. Melody where before there had only been dissonance.

In 2013, THE AMENTA released “Flesh Is Heir”. The most organic and open of THE AMENTA’s releases to date, “Flesh Is Heir” built huge sculptures of sound from decayed choir loops and found percussion, the strongest riffs and guitar hooks in THE AMENTA back catalogue and an immaculate vocal performance.

After taking a hiatus from live performance in 2014, the band resumed activity in 2019. Inchoate rumblings slowly took shape. In 2020, THE AMENTA is excited to announce a partnership with Debemur Morti Productions, a label whose name is synonymous with art and with the most forward thinking bands in extreme music.
