DYING PHOENIX from Berlin release the second song “Mother Of Dragons” from the upcoming album “Winter Is Coming” (release date May 26, 2023).

Winter is coming? Mother of Dragons? Yes, the album actually takes its listeners into the worlds of author George R.R. Martin. As the title suggests, all songs are about events and characters from Game Of Thrones, or The Song Of Ice and Fire (as the books are called in the original). The stories offer so much material that the band and its producer Oliver Palotai (Kamelot) could draw on a palette of emotions and moods.

On pre-sale – of course with special features of the band for the pre-orderers!

BAD AS – New Album “Fight The Demons” Coming Up, Read First Studio Update

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 9, 2023
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: BAD AS, Fight The Demons. Leave a comment

Italian hard rockers BAD AS – formed in 2016 by metal Bass virtuoso and composer Alberto Rigoni (who has collaborated with artists such as Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats), Kevin Moore (ex-Dream Theater), Goran Edman (ex Yngwie Malmsteen, just to name a few) – are currently in the studio working on their new album, entitled “Fight The Demons”!

John Jeff Touch, the band’s singer, shared the first studio update:
“BAD AS new album “Fight The Demons” was born when John Jeff Touch (rock & metal singing expert/ songwriter/producer) joined the band in 2022.
Alberto Rigoni and the rest of the band already had new musical ideas. John and Alberto decided to create an album more radio friendly that will show all their technical skills in a more commercial way, without losing the power and the aggressiveness of the previous ones.
“Fight The Demons” is a combination of classic rock / prog and new metal. This album has powerful, aggressive and mellow vocals combined with modern heavy riffs, powerful drum and bass rhythms.
A really powerful album made up of 11 exceptional songs. Bad As can’t wait to perform it live to their audience!
Fans of Dio/ Metallica / Megadeth/ Devin Townsend/ Whitesnake shouldn’t miss it!”

Alberto Rigoni adds, “We are very happy with the production and with the songs, for us they are killer!”

More details TBA, stay tuned!

More on BAD AS

While ‘Hard Rock’ is the foundation of BAD AS (formerly BADASS) works, the depths of their music expresses a crossover of genres including metal and prog, taking influence from legends such as Metallica, Megadeth, Whitesnake and DIO. With little more than a year’s worth of action as BAD AS, the members themselves are world renowned, and are no strangers to the music world. Read on to delve into the intricacies and formation of BAD AS..

Well-known rock vocalist Titta Tani (Takayoshi Ohmura, ex DGM, CS’s Goblin), metal bassist Alberto Rigoni (solo artist, Vivaldi Metal Project, TwinSpirits), guitarist Alessio “Lex” Tricarico (HorsePowerOverload, Four Roxx Down) and amazingly talented drummer Denis “Denzy” Novello in 2016 teamed up to create this outstanding new metal band, originally called BADASS (and for a short period called Ardityon). Who within the first year of establishment have unleashed their debut album ‘More Pain, More Gain’ and through their relentless promotion and fast-growing fanbase, they’ve caught the attention of journalists and promoters..

In February 2018 with a second album ready to be released the band decided to split. In April 2018 Alberto Rigoni took the decision to find new members (except for guitarist Lex) and to start writing a new album. In May young and very talented singer Mattia Martin and drummer Marino De Bortoli joined the band and “Midnight Course” and “Crucified Society” have been released worldwide. Moreover the band supported legendary guitarist Vinnie Moore tour around Europe in Autumn 2018.

In 2022 singer Mattia Martin left the band and Greek singer John Jeff Touch joined (winner of various European Artists Awards and collaborations with bands such as Deep Purple, VISION, S.I.N., COSMICRAY, Sanny X etc). Fourth album is now going to be produced and it’s to be released in 2023 along with promotional live shows in Europe.

New Line-up:
John Jeff Touch – vocals
Alberto Rigoni – bass
Alessio ‘Lex’ Tricarico – guitar
Marco Andreetto – drums
