On this tour we’re playing 29 shows in 16 different countries including our first shows ever in Lithuania, Finland and Sweden! The band will be supporting their latest album, ‘Noktvrn,’ which was released in November 2021 and cracked the Billboard Charts for the first time ever! In the U.S., the band landed the Current Hard Rock Music Albums (#27) and Top New Artist Albums (#30) while in Germany, the band made the Offizielle Deutsche Charts (official German charts) (#34). The album was named one of the best records of 2021 by Metal Injection, No Clean Singing, The Big Takeover, Heaviest of Art, and more!

On April 28, Swedish supergroup IRONMASTER will release their new full-length record “Weapons Of Spiritual Carnage” via Black Lion Records, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut “Thy Ancient Fire” (February 2022). In support of the soon to be released album, the band has shared a lyric video for the track “Monolithic Suppressor Engaged”. Watch the video below.
Ironmaster on the new single:
“Monolithic Suppressor Engaged; The Black-Thrash song of the album, some King Diamond-inspired guitar stuff in the chorus that’s a bit unusual for us, but adds an evil flavor to the whole thing.“
Featuring current and ex-members of Dark Funeral, Scar Symmetry, Raubtier, Carnal Forge, and Facebreaker, this strong follow up album is a natural continuation of the path taken on the band’s debut album. This time there is even more death, more black and more thrash, the performance level from all the band members has risen a notch compared to the previous album. More powerful and faster than ever at times but the flow of the album has been the focal point of the whole writing and reording process. Everything has been done with the album format in mind so that the experience when you listen thru the album from front to back will be a good and memorable one.
Edvin Skårud has written all the lyrics (except for one song) on this album, his dark and masterful lyrics deal with death, cruelty and the dark side of life, and the blackness of one’s soul.
“Weapons Of Spiritual Carnage” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Blacklounge Studios between May2021 and October 2022 by Jonas Kjellgren. The album is available for pre-order at THIS LOCATION

METHADONE SKIES is an independent psychedelic rock group from Timisoara, Romania. Active since 2009, the instrumental quartet has released 5 full length records so far. Each album shares its own musical direction, often leaning into stoner, post-rock and doom metal territories. There were never any boundaries set, so each affair is the sum of various influences and constant sonic exploration.
In 2020, the band remastered the first album, Enter the Void, originally released in 2012. As the 10th anniversary approached, a vinyl edition was long overdue. Stumbling upon “The Velvet Suit”, a song from the respective era played only live, it marked the perfect occasion to record and include it on the 2LP. A limited run of 300 copies was pressed on white vinyl and will be available on April 14, 2023, a joint release by Methadone Skies and independent Romanian label Supersomnic Records. There is also a cassette tape version available, limited to 40 copies. The pre-sale is now available at THIS LOCATION!
““The Velvet Suit” was a song completed right after we finished tracking Enter the Void in 2011”, says the band about the new song release. “We played it throughout 2012, but for reasons unknown, we never recorded it until last year when we decided to reissue the record in vinyl format. Luckily, our friends at Robust Fest in Kiev issued a cassette tape with our gig at the festival in the same year. We used the live version as the basis for this recording with minimum tweaking. It’s quite a powerful song, mixing straightforward, heavy riffs with a couple of melodic moments in between. We’ve been having a blast playing it again at our gigs last year, so we’re excited to share it now with everyone. A lovely animated video was created for “The Velvet Suit” by Alexandra Dragu and our drummer, Flavius Retea.”
Regarding the vinyl issue of Enter the Void the band comments:
Enter the Void is our first album and a favorite among our fans. When we remastered it in 2020, it was reissued only on CD, because we decided to focus on our then-upcoming LP, Retrofuture Caveman. People have asked us for a vinyl release multiple times over the years and we also felt we hadn’t truly done the remaster justice. As the 10th anniversary was coming up, we had a number of discussions on how to proceed. Ultimately, we teamed up with independent Romanian label Supersomnic for a limited run of 300 copies, white double LP. We also stumbled upon a song played live around 2012, called “The Velvet Suit”, which was never recorded until last year for inclusion on the vinyl version. Unfortunately, the anniversary was missed due to very long turnover times at the pressing plant. Despite this inconvenience, we’re really happy to finally have it available in this format, as well as cassette tape.
The Enter the Void remaster, as well as the recording of “The Velvet Suit” were handled by Andrei Jumuga, Edmond Karban and Cristian Popescu (members of dordeduh, Sunset in the 12th House) at Consonance Studio in Timisoara, Romania.

LORD OF THE LOST will bring a glamorous party between Glam Rock and Metal to Eurovision Song Contest 2023, when they will represent Germany in Liverpool with the title track of their current #1 album “Blood & Glitter”. In a show with multiple great artists from many different musical genres at the German preliminary shows, the band got by far the most votes in the public voting.
LORD OF THE LOST to their fans and everyone that took part in the show: “BLOOD & GLITTER is “Our song for Liverpool”! THANK YOU, for everything! We are not the best band in the world (they already exist), but we are the band with the best fans in the world: YOU! Thanks also to everyone who made this show possible. Since there are too many names, summarized: NDR, ARD, Bildergarten TV, everyone orbiting in the orbit of this event and our crew! And greatest respect, thanks and love to you: Anica Russo, René Miller, Will Church, Patty Gurdy, Trong, Frida Gold, Lonely Spring and Ikke Hüftgold. From day 1 of the rehearsals we lived the spirit of the ESC: UNITED BY MUSIC. With each other – not against each other.”
Watch below the winner performance of “Blood & Glitter” live at the German preliminaries.
In 2023, German genre-fusing visionaries LORD OF THE LOST are jumping from one highlight to the next! The appearance at Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool on May 13, 2023 is another huge highlight in the band’s career. The year began with their first-ever #1 debut on the Official German Album Charts with their new album, Blood & Glitter, followed by a completely sold-out club tour throughout Germany, and will continue on to support Iron Maiden again on their upcoming European tour. LORD OF THE LOST will also appear at several major festivals throughout Europe through the rest of the year and recently announced further shows.
When conjuring the concept of Blood & Glitter, the band was inspired by the eponymous work of legendary music photographer Mick Rock, known for taking a large majority of the most famous photos of musicians in the 70s glam rock era. LORD OF THE LOST visually immerse themselves in the lifestyle of that era and combine it with the new wave and pop sound of the 80s, building on their own familiar dark metal foundation. The result: a glamorous party with critical and direct messages.

Contrasts run like a thread throughout the album, once again proving different in comparison to their previous work. In addition to Chameleon Studios in Hamburg, Blood & Glitter was produced and recorded at the Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki. The album goes all the way from start to finish – thus completely bypassing ballads. The hard-hitting dancefloor track “Leave Your Hate In The Comments” makes a strong statement by addressing the increasing hate culture in social media. Furthermore, the eighth studio album features a variety of very special guests such as Heaven Shall Burn singer Marcus Bischoff on “The Future Of A Past Life”, Andy LaPlegua of Combichrist on “Reset The Preset” and Subway To Sally‘s Ally Storch on violin for “Save Our Souls”. Wrapping up the record with “One Last Song”, Chris Harms states on the track: “I was wondering what song I would want to sing last before I die and realized that song didn’t exist yet. So here it is. Probably the most important song I’ve ever written.” A bonus track, a remarkable cover of Roxette’s “The Look”, features none other than German 90s popstar Blümchen as a duet partner. The band once again goes its own way and releases, without much advance, an album that defies all clichés, prejudices, genre norms and conventions, and makes strong statements in terms of content! So to say: Blood & Glitter is 100% LORD OF THE LOST.
LORD OF THE LOST live 2023: After a full year of touring, including a support tour for Iron Maiden, a headline tour, an acoustic tour, several festival appearances and the band’s own Lordfest, LORD OF THE LOST were once again invited by the legendary Iron Maiden to be direct support on their European tour in 2023, beyond major festival and club appearances.

2 years on from the third album “Eternal”, RUADH return with the 4th album entitled “1296“. Following on from previous releases this album is again built around a concept, this time from arguably the most important period of Scottish history.
“1296” saw the “Sack of Berwick” and the beginning of the English invasion of Scotland in what is known as the first wars of Independence.
The album contains 6 tracks built around the people and events of this period with some noted absences due to the obvious limitation to tell a story in this medium without it being excessively long. “This is an album not a book, so it won’t map the entire multiple decade conflict but an abbreviated version of history!” says Tom Perret, Ruadh’s mastermind.
The album announcement comes with a promotional video as well for the track “Sack Of Berwick“. The video was filmed by Comharra Music and can be seen on youtube below:
