US alternative rock sensations DAKAR, after signing with Epictronic Records, are thrilled to announce the reissue of their critically acclaimed debut album “Say It Again,” released today, October 10th worldwide.

The label shared:
“🎸🤘 Dakar’s “Say It Again”, a mind-blowing fusion of 90s guitar-driven alternative hard rock with a sprinkle of indie, punk, modern, and southern rock influences 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐖 via Epictronic. 🎶🔥 You won’t want to miss this sonic journey. 🚀”

Check it out and buy the album at: https://orcd.co/sayitagain

True to their name, Dakar represents the spirit of American rock from Duval County, Florida. Founded by talented musicians David Benfield, Darrell Edmunds, and Luke Jean in 2019, Dakar has quickly risen to prominence with their distinctive sound that they describe as “analog rock for a digital world.” With a blend of 90s guitar-driven alternative hard rock, indie, punk, modern, and southern rock influences, Dakar’s music captivates audiences with its raw energy and unapologetic style.

Following the success of their EPs, “Come and Get It” in 2020 and “Over the Line” in 2021, Dakar gained widespread acclaim for their raucous dystopian cautionary title track, “Over the Line,” a powerful combination of overdriven classic rock guitars and ferocious vocals. The band’s musical evolution and their passion for crafting authentic and powerful compositions set them apart in the competitive rock scene.

“Say It Again” was recorded at Friends of Friends studio in Jax under the skilled guidance of engineer Brok Mendes. The band poured their heart and soul into the nine-month-long production process, resulting in an album that showcases their collective talent, dedication, and growth as musicians.

“Say It Again” tracklist:

  1. Not Gonna Be Your Sucka
  2. Chase Scene
  3. Say It Again
  4. Over The Line
  5. Come and Get It
  6. Ronnie Jean
  7. Clutches
  8. Grab Your Reigns
  9. Reason
  10. Animal
  11. Projection
  12. Escape From New York
  13. Empire Dreams

To get a taste of Dakar’s powerful sound and musical talent, be sure to check out the lyric video for “Say It Again” on YouTube:

“Dakar,” as the band explains, holds several meanings, but the one closest to their hearts is derived from the Senegalese local Wolof word, meaning “whoever settles here will be in peace.” This sentiment resonates with the band’s mission to create music that connects with listeners on a deeper level, offering solace and strength in an increasingly complex world.

DAKAR are:
David Benfield – Guitar/Vocals
Darrell Edmunds – Guitar/Vocals
Alejandro Soto – Bass
Luke Jean – Drums

DYMYTRY Unleash Brand New Single & Music Video ‘Enemy List’

At the latest with their sixth and first international studio album, Revolt (released in early 2022 on AFM Records, order HERE!), psy-core metal masters DYMYTRY have proven that they are no longer one of the Czech best-kept metal secrets. Followed by several European tours with acts such as Pantera, Hämatom or Lordi, Dymytry returns with a brand new song, titled “Enemy List”, showcasing the band’s epic and powerful, haunting facettes!

“‘Enemy List’ is a compelling anthem that not only speaks to the heart of the bullying epidemic but also offers a message of strength and resilience. We’ve all faced our fair share of online bullies, and negativity in general and we know just how hurtful and demoralizing it can be,” says Alen “AL” Ljubić, lead vocalist of Dymytry. “But ‘Enemy List’ is a reminder that we don’t have to let the haters define us. We can rise above it, become stronger, and show them that their words can’t break us. It’s a life defining mindset to have and we hope that anyone in need of encouragement will feel this message and positive energy in this song and understand that they are not alone with this problem. Know your “enemies” and avoid them and their negativity at all costs.“

After well over one thousand concerts in their home country, six successful records and a platinum award under their belt,  Dymytry has opted for a step that is unusual in two respects: Revolt, originally recorded exclusively in Czech, marked the band’s first album released in English, but also the debut of singer Alen „A.L.“ Ljubic. Bursting with a high-voltage energy, strong melodies and powerful rhythms driven by mercilessly modern metal, Revolt has set all sails on storm. While Dymytry will celebrate their 20th anniversary, with a sold-out show at the Arena Prague, CZ, on November 24, 2023 in front of 13.000 fans, one can only hope, their new single “Enemy List” showcases an incredible harbinger of a new studio album to be released in the not so distant future!

DYMYTRY Live:
24.11.2023 – CZ – Arena Prague (SOLD OUT)
26.01.2024 – DE – Frankfurt – Nachtleben
01.03.2024 – DE – Essen – Don’t Panic

THE HARD-ONS Release New Single ‘In Falls Everything’

Fresh from a successful tour of Europe, and Australian album launch tour, perennial favourites, HARD-ONS release their new single ‘In Falls Everything’. ‘In Falls Everything’ is the latest single from the acclaimed album ‘Ripper ‘23’ which reached #3 on the ARIA Australian Albums chart.

‘In Falls Everything’ is a punch in the face with powerful driving bass and big attention-grabbing riffs.
Blackie says: “Last few albums we’ve been connecting/reconnecting with the more traditional aspects of Oz Rock … when ya have the radio blasting whatever comes on will seep into your noggin… can you dig it!! “

The Hard Ons have released their new album ‘Ripper 23′, out now on Golden Robot Records.
Stream/buy ‘Ripper 23′ here: https://orcd.co/hardons-ripper23

The album ‘Ripper 23’ is The Hard-Ons through and through. Their 14th studio album, ‘Ripper 23’ is their second with Tim Rogers out front, but their first with Rogers as a fully integrated member, contributing to songwriting and arrangements. The difference is palpable, and the album will be an absolute treat to the ears of fans old, new and indifferent.

The striking cover art and album title are inspired adaptations of the crass and outrageously sexist 1970s chart compilations unique to the Australian music marketplace (no, really, check them out!). But in the hands of The Hard-Ons, it’s really just a bit cheeky.

‘Ripper 23’ is out now on varied coloured vinyl formats, black vinyl, CD and cassette. Oh, and something about digital whatever. All on Golden Robot Records.

AMBER WILD (Feat. Evan Stanley) Release New Double A-Side Single ‘Breakout // Silver’

“All live all the time.” AMBER WILD started in January 2023 with one simple goal: make the kind of music they wanted to hear. Fiery guitars, thunderous drums, and raw vocals filtered through a kaleidoscope of influences make for something that’s the right amount of familiar and fresh.

After spending the year developing their sound on the L.A. club circuit, AMBER WILD made their festival debut at this year’s Aftershock in Sacramento.

Now, October is shaping up to be a big month for the band with the release of their double-A side debut single ‘Breakout // Silver.’ These tracks were unleashed to the world on October 19th, which will also be the first date of Amber Wild’s run directly supporting KISS on their End of the Road Tour in the United States. And while it may be the end of the road for KISS, it’s just the beginning for AMBER WILD.

Download / Stream ‘Breakout’ // ‘Silver’ here: https://amberwild.ffm.to/breakout-silver

‘Silver’ is a love song to a moment. It’s realizing you’re in something way deeper than you thought and then choosing to just lean in and give yourself over entirely. Some songs you want to write and some songs you have to.

‘Breakout’ is the latter. A  little while ago I had this feeling of everyone and everything pushing in on me and squeezing until there was none of me left. I’d lost touch with my own compass almost completely. As an artist, it’s a really scary thing to lose that connection and writing ‘Breakout’ was my way of pushing back.

Listen to ‘Breakout’ here:

AMBER WILD is:
Evan Stanley: Lead Vocals, Guitar
Marshall Via: Guitar, Vocals
Jake Massanari: Bass
Thomas Lowrey: Drums

RAISED BY HAZE Release New Single ‘Freedom’

RAISED BY HAZE have released their new single ‘Freedom’, taken from the band’s debut album “Touch The Sky”, coming out on November 17th via Rockshots Records.

Guitarist Gabriele Robotti explains the new single “Freedom” in further detail:

“Freedom” is more than just a song – it’s a journey into the core of Raised By Haze’s musical philosophy. The lyrics, masterfully crafted by Valentina, delve into personal experiences and perspectives on life. In the track, my influences related to American rock from the ’90s and 2000s emerge, from Alice In Chains to Alter Bridge to Linkin Park, with the progressive vein surfacing in the song’s 7/4 time signature special section”

Raised By Haze has once again proven that their innovative approach to music-making knows no bounds. The fusion of genres and the seamless integration of diverse musical elements in “Freedom” sets the stage for a listening experience that is both refreshing and exhilarating.

Founded by the visionary guitarist Gabriele Robotti and featuring the soulful vocals of Valentina Tesio, RAISED BY HAZE’s first full-length promises to be a musical journey like no other, embodying the essence of the band.

“Touch The Sky” offers a mesmerizing blend of soul music, heavy metal, R&B, and progressive rock, promising to captivate listeners with its genre-defying sound. The album was conceived as a reflection of all of Robotti’s musical influences, aiming to weave a common thread through the diverse musical worlds that have inspired him.

“The foundational matrix for this album is arguably progressive rock and metal, with Dream Theater being the band that ignited my passion for playing the guitar during my childhood. However, the primary objective I set for myself with this album was to amalgamate all my influences, spanning from bands like Pink Floyd and Linkin Park to Pantera and Alter Bridge, and from classic 70s rock to modern progressive metal (including Opeth, Periphery, and Between The Buried And Me). Along the way, I ventured into various other musical territories.” adds Robotti.

While “Touch The Sky” is not a concept album, the lyrics, mostly penned by Valentina, draw heavily from personal experiences and the band’s unique perspectives on life and various situations. It can be said that the music serves as an artistic representation of their outlook on life, while the lyrics mirror Valentina’s experiences. The songs you hear are the culmination of this creative journey.
