BLOODYWOOD, the Indian metal band that has taken the world by storm with their unique blend of heavy music and traditional Indian folk music, is pleased to announce their upcoming RAKSHAK USA Tour. The tour, which will feature support from VENDED and WARGASM, will kick off on May 2^nd in Seattle, WA and make its way across the US ending with an appearance at the Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus Ohio May 25.

“We are thrilled to be back playing for our fans in the United States,” says Jayant Bhadula vocalist of BLOODYWOOD. “This tour is going to be a celebration of heavy metal, Indian culture, and the power of music to bring people together.”

The RAKSHAK USA Tour will feature songs from their 2022 critically acclaimed debut RAKSHAK album. Direct support VENDED, the Des Moines-based hard rock band featuring vocalist, Griffin Taylor and drummer, Simon Crahan, has been making waves with a powerful debut release and is featured on the tour. WARGASM, the London-based duo featuring Milkie Way and Sam Matlock who have been garnering acclaim from their mix of punk and metal genres rounds out the bill.

“We can’t wait to share the stage with VENDED AND WARGASM,” adds Karan Katiyar, the guitarist. “Both bands are incredibly talented and we know that they are going to bring a ton of energy to every show.”

The RAKSHAK USA Tour is the latest in a series of exciting developments for BLOODYWOOD, who have been making headlines around the world for their unique sound and energetic live performances (including representing their country and genre Lollapalooza India Jan 2023). LIV KRISTINE presents the official lyric video for the new single “River Of Diamonds”.

The first single and also title track of the new studio album which will be released on 21.04. by Metalville. Fernando Ribeiro, singer of the Portuguese cult band Moonspell, takes the song to a new, magical level as a duet partner of Liv Kristine. The catchy melody, carried by two of the greatest voices of the Gothic Metal scene, succeeds in captivating its listeners right from the first bars.

“River Of Diamonds” will be released on 03.03. as a digital single, the video can already be watched below.

She started off in her enchanting style and angelic singing-manner with five albums composed by Theatre of Tragedy (1993-2003), her own releases „Deus ex Machina“ (1998), „Enter my Religion“ (2006), „Skintight (2010), „Libertine (2012) and „Vervain (2014), next to five Leaves’ Eyes albums (2004-2015), which gained the bands worldwide attention and recognition.

In 1993 Liv Kristine embarked on a unique and courageous musical path, exploring, redefining, making way, until she became one of the most recognizable voices within the worldwide female voice metal movement.

Her autodidactic way into music and career reflects her strong individuality and courage to create with a free artistic heart, inviting her audience to experience musical and tonal aesthetics on a highly individual and elevating level.

She rose to world-wide fame already in the early nineties with her Norwegian band THEATRE OF TRAGEDY, moreover, as a solo artist, then in the new millennium with LEAVES’ EYES and various projects. For more than 25 years, she’s been and still is a fine inspiration for artists and bands worldwide within her authentic brand of Goth, Metal and Rock, being nominated for the Grammy Award (2005). Her musical achievements are numerous, e.g. a GRAMMY AWARD nomination for the song “Nymphetamine” in cooperation with Cradle of Filth, 500.000 records sold with THEATRE OF TRAGEDY, touring more than 50 countries, including repetitive hits in the official charts with her solo releases and her follow-up band LEAVES’ EYES, as well as European club, DJ, dance, rock and alternative charts. She also lent her voice to title tracks for popular TV series like “Tatort” and “Schimanski”. LIV KRISTINE has released more than 15 full-length albums with her bands since 1995.

Finnish melancholic metal band ABANDON ALL will release their debut album “Far Away” later this year. The second single from the upcoming album is now released.

“Stupid People” is a song about school bullying. This is a topic that affects unfortunately many children and young people. Some members of Abandon All have themselves been through it and that is why it seemed important to them to talk about it through a song.

This Friday, March 3, 2023 sees Australian black- death metal force DREAM UPON TOMBS release their much awaited, first full length studio album, entitled Palaces Of Dust, via Sleeping Church Records.

Torn from the ether by band mastermind Jak Shadows, tales of triumph and despair forged from stone and earth, cloaked in blackened death, doom and woe. An epic metal pulse beats forth… Following two critically acclaimed demos in 1997 and 2020, and after a necromantic slumber between 2000 to 2020, DREAM UPON TOMBS is finally back!

Says the band: “Who doesn’t love a party? Like the echo in an empty room, ghosts of the past usher the sallow face of mortality to its silent shore. You can’t turn away from the shadows as they creep ever closer to your hearth. The black tide will rob you of your humanity and wash away your soul, the only victor will be eternity and the Banshee will wail deaths song…”
