Heavy Power Metal force, SONS OF ETERNITY, who just recently announced their worldwide signing with Massacre Records, have shared a first single, the opening track “In Silence”, from their upcoming debut album! “End Of Silence” will be released on December 8, 2023 via Massacre Records, and can be pre-order at THIS LOCATION!

“In Silence is a straightforward song with a bit of arrangement complexity. Heavy pounding verses meet up-tempo choruses, instrumental parts and an epic bridge.” The band comments. “The song deals with all crises and problems humanity has to deal with today. So raise your voices and don’t “live in silence anymore”! We are very proud this song has become the official anthem of the Rotarian Metalhead Fellowship, a community of Rotarian people, who love and live heavy metal and who initiate and support social projects all over the world. It’s an honor to be a small part of it!”

SONS OF ETERNITY‘s members, coming from various musical and stylistic backgrounds, combine their unique influences to a strong, diverse and catchy mixture under the unifying banner of heavy metal: Modern low guitar tunings mixed with melodic harmony leads and rhythms, from up-tempo to pounding heavy grooves, and the unique and strong voice of lead singer Matthias with his impressive vocal range and expression. WHEN RIVERS MEET Announce “Aces Are High” Spring 2024 UK Tour

Hot off the release of their critically acclaimed third studio album “Aces Are High”, award-winning rock duo WHEN RIVERS MEET, comprised of husband-and-wife Aaron and Grace Bond, are pleased to announce their “Aces Are High” Spring 2024 UK Tour.

Planet Rock will run a 48-hour ticket pre-sale from 10am BST on Wednesday October 18th.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST on Friday October 20th  at whenriversmeet.co.uk/tour and ticketmaster.co.uk.

The tour takes in eight concerts and starts at The Brook, Southampton on April 27th, and finishes at The Garage, London on May 11th.

The tour announcement coincides with the news that WRM’s new album “Aces Are High” is in The Top 10 in the Official UK Album Midweek Chart. 

Lead singer, mandolin and violin player, Grace Bond is looking forward to touring the new album. “Aaron and I can’t wait to get back on the road in 2024 to tour the Aces Are High album,” says Grace. “The new songs are powerful and intense. They represent where we are right now as both writers and performers. It’s an exciting journey and we look forward to sharing the ride with our dedicated fans.”

Since their formation in 2019, the husband-and-wife duo Grace Bond and Aaron Bond (vocals, guitar), have been quick to prove themselves one of the most exciting names in British blues rock. Blending Rock, Blues, Americana, and Folk in a distinctly unique manner, they have been showered with many awards and accolades.

When Rivers Meet were the first band to win four awards at the UK Blues Awards 2021 and another three awards in 2022, including Blues Band of The Year on both occasions. In 2023, WRM won Blues Band of The Year, making them the only band to win these category three years in a row, and the only band to be inducted into the UK Blues Awards Hall of Fame for this category.

Just in time for the release of their exciting concept album, Hermitage – Daruma’s Eyes Pt. 2, Italian maestros of modern melodic/symphonic metal TEMPERANCE reveal their third spellbinding single, “Darkness Is Just a Drawing”, together with a colorful official music video.  The new full-length, Hermitage – Daruma’s Eyes Pt. 2, drops this Friday, October 20, 2023 via Napalm Records and unveils stand-out guest performances by Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie, Illumishade), Laura Fella (Faun) and Alessandro Conti (Twilight Force).
 
From its opening notes, “Darkness Is Just a Drawing” envelops listeners in a world of theatrical orchestration and unbridled emotion. From haunting vulnerability to the resounding power of the impressive choir, the symphonic journey traverses the emotional spectrum of the villagers of Hermitage and the enigmatic villain Anningan.

Catapulted into another era by finding the Japanese doll, Daruma, protagonist Viktor wakes up in a magical village called Hermitage, exploring its secrets track by track. Getting into a fight between the siblings Anningan and Irin, only Viktor’s destiny is the key to their conflict. “Welcome To Hermitage” presents the magical world of Hermitage with fairytale-like flutes, twinkling chime elements, and the vocal arrangements of singers Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie, Illumishade) and Laura Fella (Faun). “No Return” glances with the band’s characteristic sing-along refrain and operatic fragments while the track “Join Me” ranges from marvelous vocal harmonies to grand compositions. The spellbinding “Darkness Is Just a Drawing’” and uplifting “Full Of Memories” gather the atmosphere of Hermitage – Daruma’s Eyes Pt. 2 once again, before “Cliff” closes the album with rising melodies, epic orchestration arrangements, and inimitable vocal spotlights. DERISION CULT Release New Single ‘Slaves Rebuild’ Accompanied by New Music Video

DERISION CULT fuses technological sounds with classic metal, rock, and even outlaw country to evoke an entirely new feeling from their audience with each new release. With inspiration ranging from Die Warzau, Sister Machine Gun, David Bowie, Metallica, Megadeth, Prong, Ministry, White Zombie, and Circle of Dust, Derision Cult utilizes varied influences to create a truly unique sound unlike what is typical of rock and metal bands. 

Best described by frontman Dave McAnally himself, Derision Cult forms a “sonic insurgency” through its combination of industrial metal with a tinge of outlaw country. Taking some influence from Producer Sean Payne’s band Cyanotic, Derision Cult uses cyberpunk-infused metal to focus their message on resisting media manipulation and corporate greed within their lyrics and against-the-grain sound. Certain aspects of their music showcase aspects of classic rock, thrash metal, all the way to Western country – especially in their new release “Slaves Rebuild”, which is accompanied by a new music video, watch it below.

Hailing from Chicago, IL, Derision Cult is made up of frontman Dave McAnally and a collective of Glitch Mode artists (Sean Payne, Brad Huston, Jesse Hunt) and includes contributors such as guitarist, songwriter, and record producer Reeves Gabrels (The Cure, David Bowie), Chris Connelly (Ministry, Pigface, Revolting Cocks), and Jim Marcus (Die Warzau, Go Fight!). Their first album “Mercenary Notes Pt 1,” has been described by fans as “a bold sonic rebellion unmasking corporate distortion.” Their new release “Slaves Rebuild” promises to give fans what they know and love – with a new twist and style they have yet to hear from the group.

Derision Cult is a clandestine project by Chicago’s own Dave McAnally – a former advertising industry insider, and now a Chicago artist collective leader. INFECTION CODE Unveil ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes’ Single

Italian death-thrashers INFECTION CODE return today with a blistering single, “Something Wicked This Way Comes”, from their ninth full-length album “Sulphur”, due out November 17th 2023 via Time To Kill Records. Stream it HERE.

The band is back after one year from their previous effort,“Alea Iacta Est”, with a new sound and a new sonic landscape to explore. “Sulphur” is the first album with the new line-up and the first written by new guitarist Chris, who joined the band in 2021.

Today, INFECTION CODE focuses on manifesting crushing riffs laced with visceral grooves that echo somber melodies. Eschewing all trends, the album takes every disparate element that INFECTION CODE previously employed, such as industrial tones, more prominent death and thrash metal influences, and amplifies them, while juxtaposing each next to each other, with genuinely unpredictable and exciting consequences. The tracklist also includes a cover version of AT THE GATES’ masterpiece, “Blinded By Fear”.

Lyrically, the album is based on some sci-fi and horror novels, and stories used as allegories to introduce personal reflections on the decline of human civilization. The authors are Howard P. Lovecraft, Philip K. Dick, Ben Bova, Ray Bradbury, Dan Simmons and Valerio Evangelisti.

“Sulphur” was recorded, mixed and mastered at The Cat’s Cage Recording Studio by Francesco Salvadeo.

The artwork and the cover have been created by Simone Strige of STRX Art.

Spawned in 1999, INFECTION CODE began to weave its own breed of metal based out of Alessandria, northern Italy. The band initially grabbed elements from many industrial and metal bands like Godflesh, Neurosis, Red Harvest, Napalm Death and Melvins, yet their actual musical output never shared a similar sound to the aforementioned artists.

In recent years the band’s sound has started incorporating a rawer and more direct approach, paying tribute to the roots and showing more evident thrash and death metal influences, without however removing the industrial imprint.

Over the past twenty years, the band has toured multiple regions throughout Italy and Europe and kept busy recording. To date, INFECTION CODE have released 8 full-length albums which dragged them out from the depths of the underground and into the forefront of the Italian metal scene.
