Norwegian desert rockers SLOMOSA and Stickman Records are joining forces for the band’s upcoming second full-length, which they recently recorded at Polyfon Studio in their hometown of Bergen! A single from the album will be released in the coming months.
Since their sudden appearance on the scene with the self-titled debut album “Slomosa” in 2020, the band has hit the ground running with relentless tours alongside bands such as Orange Goblin, Sasquatch and Stöner.
Singer/guitarist Benjamin Berdous says of the upcoming record: “The feel good vibes of our first album were apparent in the music, even though the lyrical themes were more serious and angry, but also in some sense comforting for me personally. Since then more of life has happened and things have gotten more serious, and as always this reflects on the music. It’s still important to me that we continue to offer something fresh in an at times homogeneous genre. Catchy vocal hooks and heavy guitar riffs is our recipe, and we don’t plan to mix up our diets!”

Exceptional singer LEE SMALL (Phenomena, The Sweet, Lionheart, SHY) will release his new studio album “The Last Man On Earth” on May 26th via Metalville Records.
Because of his melodic voice Lee Small is often compared to artists like Glenn Hughes, Bobby Bobby Kimball or Steve Walsh and belongs to the most established artists of the AOR scene.
“The Last Man On Earth” is the album that Lee has wanted to realise throughout his career. A melodic Rock feast in the classic style of Journey and Toto. The songs were recorded in London, Los Angeles and Texas in 2022 and mixed & produced by Tom Cory (Sweet).
With its crisp hooks, catchy choruses, outstanding solos and fat production, “Last Man On Earth” has all the ingredients for a future genre classic.
The album graces a wealth of the best musician’s around including, including Dan Reed as duet partner on one song, guitarists Steve Man (MSG / Lionheart), Tommy Denander (Bobby Kimball), Charles Berthoud on bass and Edu Cominato (Geoff Tate) as drummer. Fabrizo Sgattoni (guit), Mika Gronholm (guit), Micke Nilsson (bass), Marshall Harrison (guit), Sony Stevan (key), Rossano Capriotti (key) were also involved in the recording as guest musicians.

One-man atmospheric black metal project YAGON is pleased to announce the signing of a deal with Wormholedeath Records for the reissue of the EP “A Raven’s Tale.” Originally produced, mixed, and mastered by Jaroslav Celujko of Jaro Sound, the EP will be made available to a wider audience on March 31st, 2023 via Wormholedeath Records.

Since a very young age, I have breathed and lived black metal. My greatest inspiration and influence have been – atmospheric/epic/doom metal – Mist of Misery, epic metal – Summoning, and doom metal – Rapture. These bands captured the very essence of sadness in my opinion and brought their stories to a musical stage. At last, my dreams to rise and spread sorrow and great music have come true. Wormholedeath is giving me the opportunity to fulfill my destiny to leave my footprint as an artist. As a one-man band, I used my deepest emotions, self-learned playing skills, unique vocal sounds, and thousands of hours of listening to deep and filled with sorrow musical masterpieces to finally create my own path. My goal is to express my most personal inner thoughts and give my music life. Yagon is working on a new full album. ‘Inferno XXXIII’ is a nightmarish trip through 10 death metal songs infused with crafty black and thrash influences.
The new UIvedharr album is a sonic & lyrical compendium of violence, madness, despair, inner fears and thirst for revenge: a dystopic portrait of the present times and a very bleak vision of mankind’s future.
The creepy but stunning artwork is based on Dante Alighieri’s ‘Inferno’, chapter XXXIII, where the word ‘vengeance’ is the main subject of the action. Thus, the entire mood of the record is dark, morbid and oppressing – just as extreme metal is always supposed to be.
