Finnish metalcore eccentrics One Morning Left have released a video for their brand new single ‘Neon Inferno (Paradise)’, out now via Arising Empire. A compelling narrative of a passionate yet tumultuous love affair, this musical masterpiece intricately weaves celestial and hellish imagery, painting a vivid portrait of a love that is as divine as it is destructive.
The song’s lyrical prowess lies in its ability to explore passionate, all-consuming love that walks the fine line between creation and destruction. The ‘Neon Inferno (Paradise)’ becomes a powerful metaphor in this journey – it’s bright and captivating, yet burning with an intensity that could consume all in its path.
Founded in 2008 in Vaasa, Finland, One Morning Left are well known for their unique blend of electro, hardcore and metalcore influences as well as their entertaining and energetic live shows where absolutely anything can happen.
One Morning Left’s most recent album, Hyperactive, marked their first new material in five years. The fourth album welcomed a whole new chapter in their story, drawing inspiration from retro electronic and video game music, as well as 80s hard rock, while staying true to their heavier roots.
Changes happened not only in musical style, but also in their line-up. Returning from the cast of 2016’s Metalcore Superstars were frontman Mika Lahti, singer/guitarist Leevi Luoto and drummer Niko Hyttinen. Additional firepower was provided by new faces Tuukka Ojansivu on guitar and Miska Sipiläinen on bass guitar, as well as the return-to-form of keyboard player Touko Keippilä from the band’s original Panda ❤ Penguin line-up.
One Morning Left have played shows with bands including Amaranthe, Machinae Supremacy, Adept, Protest The Hero, Fear Of Domination, Turmion Kätilöt and We Butter The Bread With Butter. The band have also graced the Finnish festival season, playing renowned festivals like Tuska Open Air and Rockfest.

To celebrate the release of the new DÉCEMBRE NOIR album Your Sunset | My Sunrise the band is happy to reveal the brand new video for the track Sleepwalker(In Yesterday’s Past) taken from the new effort.
The classic performance video was shot by Alexander Dietzof Heaven Shall Burn and their long-time videographer Philipp Hirsch.
As for the direction of their new album, DÉCEMBRE NOIR reveal the following: “Your Sunset | My Sunrise” is the cry for inner peace set to music. A heavy heart full of tears, which threatens to plunge its bearer into the abyss at any moment. Even if this means giving up oneself, in the end only the long-awaited silence counts. It is the escape on the wings of addiction from the battlefield of never-ending depression.
The approach of the band from Thuringia, Germany also reaches deep on their fifth full-time album – both lyrically and musically. This is already known from the previous records “The Renaissance Of Hope” (2020), “Autumn Kings” (2018), “Forsaken Earth” (2016) and “A Discouraged Believer” (2014). DÉCEMBRE NOIR act consistently atmospheric, gloomily tuned and open to interpretation. The underlying thoughts, emotions and intentions of the songs of the quintet are not always clearly determinable. And they don’t have to be. For the nuances and forebodings set to music have a special significance in the German band’s playing.
What once started between doom and death metal, has developed over the years and releases to an independent, organic gloomy sound, which achieves its ominous effect space and its captivating fascination quite independently of liking or style questions. On “Your Sunset | My Sunrise”, produced by HEAVEN SHALL BURN’s Alexander Dietz at his Chemical Burn Studio, DÉCEMBRE NOIR again rely on melancholic as well as melodically addressed pieces that stand completely on their own and therefore captivate because they are presented so heavy, dark and atmospheric.

The show also features a special video and recording by the late, and missed, Graeme Edge of his poems ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Late Lament’. Graeme wrote these poems for the album, but they were originally spoken by Mike Pinder. John asked Graeme to record them so that he could always be on stage with him. Jon Davison of YES also joins John to perform the classic songs, “Nights in White Satin” and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’. Jon is John’s son-in-law and great friend, having originally met back in 2019 on the ‘Royal Affair’ Summer Tour with YES, Asia, John and Carl Palmer.
“The show came about following conversations with Graeme, Alan (Hewitt) and Jon (Davison)… This album and these Moody Blues songs changed our lives, they may even have changed the fans lives, and I felt they deserved to still be heard and experienced live as they were originally intended. My hope is that coming to one of my shows, you can close your eyes and we can all take a moment to turn back the clock as we celebrate this music together. Alan, Jon, and my band have done an incredible job in realizing my vision. It was always important to me to remain true to the original whilst at the same time use modern sound and all the wonderful new technology to reveal the richness of these songs. ‘Days of Future Passed’ was released 56 years ago, and was arguably the start of progressive rock. These songs began the long standing cross-over between rock and classical music, and the Moody Blues shows were always known for recreating this incredible sound, and for the wonderful atmosphere. John has surrounded himself with a band that are equally passionate, who put simply, love performing together, and who appreciate and respect the legacy of the music.

John Lodge is bass guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for the iconic Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2018 inductees, The Moody Blues. Founded in 2016 in Marseille, France, STONE HORNS have been unleashing groove death metal since debuting “The Beast Inside” released in 2018, along with 2021’s “Rise of Apophis”. Signing with Rockshots Records, the band is gearing up for their third album “Chimaira” for release in January 2024 along with tour plans across Europe.
Featuring seven groove-laden hell-bent tracks, “Chimaira” tells the story of an odyssey of being rejected by all and thirsting for revenge. It explores life’s thirst for recognition, whatever its form. Through its various acts, the story continues in different states, colors, and landscapes. A raw, merciless finality that leaves little room for breath in this torment of violence.
“We’re all chasing a chimera, but isn’t it the chimera that’s chasing us? That’s the question this album tries to answer, combining freshness and warmth, violence and peace, waves, and digressions.” adds the band.
With their headbanging groove, this third studio offering “Chimaira” is a culmination of all the band’s experiments to date. This is the band’s most accomplished album to date, both in terms of composition and production. The band’s long-time fans will be satisfied, but they also hope to bring in new fans with this record, with a slightly more modern production. Each track has its own universe on this full length, but it’s also part of a whole, because like their previous albums, “Chimaira” is a concept album.

The aim of this album is for fans of every sub-genre of metal to be able to say to themselves at some point when listening to it: “I really like that beat”. “Chimaira” is a bit like the child of “The Beast Inside” (2018) and “Rise of Apophis” (2021)”. says the band.
Today, Stone Horns gives their first glimpse into “Chimaira” with a music video for their first single “Age of Chimairas”, a groove anthem from which the album takes its name. A real steamroller that has also proved it’s worth live for the band. With a “patriotic” chorus, accompanied by melodic guitar. The song has a certain metalcore feel to it, while retaining its groove and remains in the band’s tradition.

October 20 will see the release of “Right Place Wrong Time”, the brand new album by Italian heavy psych veterans ANUSEYE, which will be coming out on Go Down Records. “Right Place Wrong Time” is the first of two chapters and deals with space/ time perception. It’s a journey, a little bit real and a little bit dreamlike, to explore places relevant to the inner consciousness of the band members. Departures and arrivals are on a loop: each song is named after a city, each city represents a trip, and each trip is a song. The nine tracks feature the artistic maturity of these heavy psych veterans, blended with fresh sounds and beautiful arrangements in psych/kraut sauce.
After the release of the track “Churchofchrist”, the band follows up with the the second single “Odessa”. The track is accompanied by a visualizer, which you can watch here:
