Singer/Songwriter JASON DELISMON released his new single “Hard To Breathe” to all major platforms on January 12, 2023. Today, he released the official music video for the song. The single was produced, mixed and mastered at Groovetone Studios.
“This song is dedicated to those who have lost a loved one,” says Jason.
He adds, “Music has always been a lifelong passion of mine. My career started behind the drum set. Once I started playing in a band I knew that’s what I wanted to do. I’ve drummed in several bands that have toured and shared stages with national acts. I was in a Chicago based band A.D.D. We did quite a bit of traveling. I was also in the band Heavy the Fall produced by Charlie Benante “Anthrax.” Shortly after in typical Dave Grohl fashion, I transitioned into singing and playing guitar, which branched off to form my own band Frontline. I have also been the drum tech for Eve to Adam, as well as, Survivor. Currently I’m pursuing music as a solo artist. I released first single ‘Gone Away’ in October of 2022. I’m looking Forward to seeing what the future holds.”
Italian apocalyptic death metal act VISION DEPRIVED will release their debut album “Self Elevating, Deep Inside The Void” on March 28th 2023 via Slaughterhouse Records.

Born from the twisted mind of Carlo Altobelli, producer and sound engineer at the Toxic Basement Studio (Cripple Bastards, Insanity Alert, Black Oath, Raw Power, Ekpyrosis, …), the band mixes early 90’s American gloomy metal with grim and dystopian imagery all captured at his iconic studio. And if for some reason the music won’t speak enough for itself, then the amazing artwork by Francesca Vecchio will further clarify what music and words won’t.
With plenty of atmosphere to spare, the band’s compositional skills astoundingly span the full reach of old school US death metal, subtly (and tastefully) touching such boundaries as grindcore and death-thrash.
The band was originally founded by drummer Carlo (Greedy Mistress, Moral Values) and bassist Aldo (Cain, Bang Bangalow), who eventually welcomed Elias (End) on guitar and Alberto (Forged In Blood, Ephyra) on vocals.
“Self Elevating, Deep Inside The Void” is its introduction to their musical abyss, 10 songs of claustrophobic and relentless riffs and hopeless lyrics for a 30 minute visceral trail.
Album tracklist:
01. Massacre Of The Truth 02. Deeper 03. Pledge Allegiance 04. Overturning Events 05. Realm Of Void 06. Lifetime Conviction 07. I Am 08. Beyond Myself 09. Mind Eraser Body 10. Randomly Somewhere
Line-up:
Alberto – vocals Elias – guitar Aldo – bass Carlo – drums

Croatian KEVLAR BIKINI have released a new music video, for “Flirting With Nihilism”, the 8th single off of their latest album, “OPT-OUTism”. The video was recorded in the fringe areas of Zagreb (fringe in every sense of the word!), and everything from directing and recording to editing is done solely by the band.
The video is visually in tune with the hypnotic mood of the song and there is no shortage of psychedelic scenes. This is the eighth video off of “OPT-OUTism” – the band is drawing close to the magic number of 10 music videos – one for each of the album’s songs.
But the band isn’t working only on this video saga – preproduction of new songs is finished and the boys are soon entering the studio to record their 5th LP! Coming soon to an eardrum near you…
JETHRO TULL recently announced the release of their 23rd studio album, ‘RökFlöte’, on the 21st April 2023 via InsideOutMusic. Following 2022’s ‘The Zealot Gene’, the band’s first album in two decades, Ian Anderson and the band are returning with a 12-track record based on the characters and roles of some of the principle gods of the old Norse paganism, and at the same time exploring the ‘RökFlöte’ – rock flute – which Jethro Tull has made iconic.
Today the band are pleased to launch the second single from the album, ‘The Navigators’. Appearing as a special single edit version, mixed by Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief), you can watch the video (created by Christian Rios) here:
The lyrics for this track explored the Norse god Njord, who was the god of wealth, fertility, the sea and seafaring.
‘RökFlöte’ will be available on several different formats, including two limited deluxe formats that include bonus demo material, extensive liner notes & a blu-ray featuring Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround sound, alternative stereo mixes by Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief), as well as a bonus track and in-depth interview with Ian Anderson. The album will also be available digitally in the spatial audio formats Dolby Atmos & Sony 360 RA.
Ian explains the album’s title & theme in more detail: “The title of this offering went through a little change or two along the way. I started with the idea of a predominantly instrumental album for rock flute – as in rock music. When the subject material of the album presented itself, I was drawn to the term Ragnarök from Norse mythology – their version of apocalyptic end times or Biblical Armageddon. The “final showdown” scenario is ubiquitous and inherent in Hinduism, Christianity and Islam, for example. Ragnarök translates as “destiny of the Gods”, the rök part meaning destiny, course, direction. With umlaut firmly in place, courtesy of the Germanic origins of Old Norse, Flute became Flöte in keeping with the spelling. With me so far? I just can’t miss the glorious opportunity for a good and legitimate umlaut.”
Jethro Tull continue live dates this year, with shows in mainland Europe, as well as a newly announced headline date in London on the 23rd May to celebrate the new album release. Find the full list of shows here: https://jethrotull.com/tour-dates/
‘The Zealot Gene’, released in January 2022, was Jethro Tull’s 22nd studio album and it garnered critical acclaim across the board. With more than 30 albums to their credit and sales totaling more than 60 million, Jethro Tull are one of the most successful rock bands of all-time with a catalog that contains classics that still resonate today. Led by Ian Anderson, Tull still continue to tour throughout the world, entertaining audiences of all ages.

U.S. emerging thrash/heavy-metallers FINALITY today share a visualizer video for the title track of their debut album ‘Technocracy’, which is set for release on May 5th, 2023.
The band unites the craft and imagination of vocalist Tony Asta (Battlecross), guitarists Hiran Deraniyagala (Battlecross), John Artuso, and Joe Cady, bassist Mike Heugel and drummer Dan Fayz; a unity of artistry and invention which has bred and distinctly forged a sound which increasingly and brazenly defies its more often stated Thrash/Power Metal tagging as it embroils a host of genre fusing flavours, a proposal hungrily grown again and now ravenously blossoming within ‘Technocracy’.
Metal Injection today premieres a visualizer video for leading single and title track “Technocracy”, check it out at this location.
Self-engineered and produced by Joe Cady and Tony Asta, and uncompromising with its lyrical examinations and implications, ‘Technocracy’ is a protagonist for thought with its emotive heart an open book and further exposed by the roar and outcry of vocals. Equally, wrapped in the melodic intricacies and flames of guitars and led by galvanic rhythmic manipulation as rousing invention and creative surprise weave their innovation, ‘Technocracy’ is a landmark in the sound, vision and enterprise of Finality and the landscape of voraciously adventurous metal. Pre-orders are now available here.
