Finnish heavy metallers OCEANHOARSE have released their highly anticipated sophomore studio album “Heads Will Roll” via Noble Demon. With eleven brand new tracks, the album seamlessly picks up where its predecessor “Dead Reckoning” (2021) left off and even goes one step further! “Heads Will Roll” is an album packed with tense arrangements, vocal harmonies and crushing riffs and a must have release for all fans of heavier but dynamic sounds!

Ben Varon on “Heads Will Roll”:

“Heads Will Roll is literally Oceanhoarse 2.0. We kept all the elements we liked the most from our first album, and kept building on that. I think Heads Will Roll is richer in dynamics, hooks, attitude and dirt. This time around we really wanted to capture the live vibe in the studio, so we rehearsed the songs properly and locked ourselves in a nice big studio for a week, where we banged out all the basic tracks together and chose the best takes at the end of the day. Most of what you hear on the album is from those live takes, even down to many of the guitar solos! I think you can really hear the difference, and feel the band as a living, breathing organism executing these songs, warts and all.“

To celebrate “Heads Will Roll” finally being available worldwide, Oceanhoarse have released a brand new lyric video for the album’s opening track “Fall Like Dominoes”.

“Fall Like Dominoes was the obvious choice for the opening track of the album, with its big, epic build-up. I love this song, to me it sounds like a mix between Metallica and Children Of Bodom, with a serious Hoarse-y twist!” Ben Varon comments.

“Heads Will Roll” is out now on Noble Demon and available for purchase at THIS LOCATION

Amsterdam-based modern metal act, THE LAST ELEMENT, has announced a worldwide label deal with Drakkar Entertainment / Soulfood Music. In support of a new record to follow in the not so distant future, today, the band has premiered a music video for new single “Waves”, featuring a guest appearance by Jett Rebel!

Since their formation, THE LAST ELEMENT has reached +3 Million streams on Spotify alone and +10 million across platforms, fully DIY and this only proves they are getting the recognition and support from their listeners. With these numbers increasing daily and previous releases added to editorial playlists such as “New Blood” “New Core” “New Metal Tracks”, THE LAST ELEMENT is definitely levelling with established names in the genre on the way to determine their goal in life to share their music and lyrics with a global audience.

Label manager Maximilian Föse comments: “We are super stoked to join forces with THE LAST ELEMENT. From the very first moment of hearing the songs we knew it is a good fit! The bands attitude is killer and we can’t wait to let the world hear the new stuff we are preparing together. We believe a lot of new people will find the new music very enjoyable.”

“Now we head for a new road, a new opportunity with Drakkar and we can’t wait!” Says the band about their signing with the Hamburg-based label. “We are very excited to be part of the roster, we’ve met with Max and knew this would be a good fit for us! We’ve got loads of songs coming up and we really wanted to professionalize the process. So here we are!”

Watch the band’s new video for “Waves”, featuring multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Jett Rebel, here:

About the new single, vocalist Jasper reveals:

“The song tells a story about falling in love and feeling like both of you are on the same level, made of the same cloth, the same frequencieis and waves. But with time the other one pulls away, not sure why, cause the love between you both feels so real. The chorus is the plea don’t you feel the same way? Do you know that I’ve changed (over the years) but my heart is still the same, always there for you.

It’s an emotional song with the hapiness as the main theme, but the sad undertone of realizing you might have lost the one you love the most. We feel like the whole track is a strong tale telling my personal story in that regard. In the bridge Jett Rebel also has a part with a dashing guitar solo to really make the whole song feel as one epic ballad.”

THE LAST ELEMENT started in 2018. Immediately they found common ground, both Jan (bass) and Jasper dealt with hardship in the past, each song they wrote was a way to lift a burden. Jan most notably dealt with the suicide of his life partner, and Jasper came from a history of child abuse and the fallout that created. They bonded over the troubles they lived but more importantly who it made them and what it made the band, they became stronger, the damage, the scars of their past gave the fuel to their music and helped them write what is closest to their hearts. THE LAST ELEMENT is the bond between them, and all the people who are scared to get hurt or that have to deal with misfortune, “we all heal when we are together, together we are stronger. Thus our music became the translation of those feelings, the dark, the heavy, the rage but also the light, the love and hope. The band says.

“With our songs, music, videos and stories we want to keep that as a theme that, no matter how dark the cloud, there’s always a silver lining of hope and resilience. (this is also portrayed in our artwork and band pictures, we combine black with a color of choice).”

THE LAST ELEMENT is:
Jasper Roelofsen – Vocals
Noah Grim – Guitar
Jan Bijlsma – Bass
Mark Cappon – Drums

DISILLUSIVE PLAY are excited to announce the signing with Wormholedeath label for the distribution and promotion of their second full album entitled “Songs for the Non-Existent”, which will be released in Spring 2023.

The album will include 11 songs.

For Disillusive Play there were never strict limits on the music style. The different influences of every member are put together and the final outcome can be described as hard/heavy rock with a metal attitude and some progressive nuances. However, if some influences should be mentioned, these would be bands like Queensrÿche, Conception, Marillion, King Crimson, Pendragon, and also more modern bands such as Halestorm, Stone Sour, Avenged Sevenfold and many, many others.

After a very hard working and tough period, Disillusive Play is coming back with some very strong inspirations that deal with several aspects of society, everyday life, and feelings. A wide range of thoughts is revealed concerning criticism, racism, inequality, persistence, weakness, unfulfilled dreams, family, past relationships, life choices, suppressed souls, despair, and hope.

Music is unity! This is the motto that also unites the members of Disillusive Play. A no-destination journey with the sole goal of writing and producing the music of their hearts and communicating it to our fans, pure, unfiltered, and full of energy in every live. Disillusive Play is a band based in Athens, Greece that has been together since 2014. Disillusive Play music can be considered Melodic Progressive Metal.

Disillusive Play has a strong presence in the local live scene with many lives together with well-known artists and bands such as: “Gus G”, “Newman”, “La Tulipe Noire”,” The Silent Wedding”, “Meden Agan” and many more, together with a powerful presence in local music festivals (Ladies of Metal Festival, etc) and club gigs.

“Open Arms” is Disillusive Play’s first full release. The album is featuring Johnny Thermos of “The Silent Wedding” on keyboards. The 9+1 compositions have a modern metal sound with progressive parts and nuances. “Open Arms” has been released in 2018 and is available for purchase and streaming on all major digital music platforms as well as in physical form.

The Band will release their new full studio album near the Summer of 2023.

The new album, entitled “Songs for the Non-Existent”, will feature Marios Karanastasis (The Silent Wedding) on the duet of the album, Bob Katsionis (ex. Firewind) on Keyboards, Iliana (Enemy Of Reality) in backing vocals, and guest appearance of bass player Panagiotis Bourazanis in one track.

BLOODJOB from Giessen/Germany relentlessly delivers their uncompromising blend of death metal and grind since 2007. After years of dwelling in the underground and brutalizing their style with influences from slam, thrash and black metal, they released their first EPs “Scalptures of Laceration” in 2010 and “Misogynic Obsessions”  in 2012. These raw pieces of disgusting death metal offered a first taste of their trademark style consisting of sickening vocals, nasty riffs and blasting drums. The following years were characterized by several lineup changes but also powerful live performances as they shared the stage with Entombed, Lividity, Ingested, Inhumate and other well established acts. In 2019 they returned on the scene with their self-produced first album “Sick Concept Humanity” which caused international recognition and was re-released by PRC Music in 2020. In contrast to their first EPs, the lyrical themes now matured from perverted tales of horror to misanthropic reckonings with our rotten society. Following the vein of its predecessor, they recorded their new EP entitled “Metastasis” in 2022 which will also be their first release with Italian extreme metal label Lethal Scissor Records. Despite ongoing lineup changes they’re now working on their next full-length record.

Ukrainian ORBSTRUCT Release Music Video for ‘Reaper’s Path’

New music video by Ukrainian death metal band ORBSTRUCT for the song “Reaper’s Path” from the second full-length album Deimos Falling.

The plot tells us about an alternative vision of Death, as a kind of creature that has a certain life cycle and must be reborn in a new image at the end of this cycle. But every time a new candidate is needed for rebirth, who will follow its path – the “Reaper’s Path”, proudly walking through the desolate lands of the dead, where silence and peace reigns, and there are no wars, no regrets, and no remorse.

Death Metal band from Ukraine inspired by such iconic bands as Morbid Angel, Bloodbath, Vader, Arch Enemy and Carcass. ORBSTRUCT successfully combined classic Swedish and American death metal schools with themes of Death, Agnosticism, Atheism, Self-improvement, Self-development. The band’s mid-tempo guitar riffs create a viscous, oppressive atmosphere, while high-speed blast beats evoke primal aggression. In their sound and composition, ORBSTRUCT focuses on the dark mood and atmosphere of their music.
