After the release of their latest album “Live at Maximum Festival”, today Italy’s very own The Devils follow up with a brand new music video for the track “Time Is Gonna Kill Me”.

The duo from Naples embodies the ultimate sound of chaos; their style is primitive, loaded with sex, sin and Rock’n’Roll!

The band on “Time Is Gonna Kill Me”: “There is no poetic content in our music. Actually this song says that we don’t kill time, but time is gonna kill us. The music is inspired by Otis Rush blues, who clearly explained that ‘Someone promises you the world and then gives you nothing: that’s the blues.’“.

“Live at Maximum Festival” by The Devils is out NOW on Go Down Records and available for purchase at THIS LOCATION

  1. I Appeared To The Madonna

ROBERT JON & THE WRECK Release ‘Come At Me’ Single Ahead of February 2023 UK Tour

Southern roots rockers ROBERT JON & THE WRECK are pleased to announce “Come At Me,” the hard-charging, rock & roll infused final single from their new EP ‘One Of A Kind,’ out March 10th via Joe Bonamassa’s newest independent label, Journeyman Records. An instant rock & roll classic produced by the renowned, multi-GRAMMY Award winning producer Don Was (Bonnie Raitt, The Stones, John Mayer), “Come At Me” was recorded at Hensen Studios in Los Angeles (the same studio that gave us legendary albums including “Tapestry” by Carole King and “Blue” by Joni Mitchell, and many others).

Watch the official music video for “Come At Me” on YouTube HERE.

“’Come at Me’ was one of the first new songs we wrote for our summer recording sessions,” commented frontman Robert Jon Burrison. “The song happened so fast, it almost wrote itself. It’s another fun upbeat song that makes you wanna scream along with the chorus after hearing it just once.”

“Working with Don was great because he has a zen-like quality about him that makes you feel very comfortable,” Burrison added. “He knows what it takes to make a band feel relaxed to get the best performances from each player.”

“Come At Me” follows the release of the album’s captivating, Americana-infused single “Who Can You Love,” and the “Pain No More,” an outstanding riff-driven roots rock track produced by the eight-time Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Blackberry Smoke, Rival Sons). In contrast, “Come At Me” showcases another side of the band’s dynamic sound, as they gear up to release a series of diverse singles over the next year, beyond the release of the ‘One Of A Kind’ EP.

Prolific songwriters with a wealth of new material who refuse to be constrained by traditional release strategies, the band’s new partnership with Journeyman Records affords them the opportunity to work with the world’s top producers and release a steady stream of high quality singles on an ongoing basis, cutting through the industry chaos and ensuring new music is accessible to fans as intended.

Reigning from Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck take the Southern rock sound from the east coast and make it their own. Since their inception in 2011, these four native Californians; Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), and Warren Murrel (bass) have been electrifying audiences all over the world with their soaring guitar leads, rich vocal harmonies, and memorable tunes. Simply put, it is difficult to ignore when these talented musicians take the stage.

Little wonder they have made an impact on audiences across the world, where they’ve played a run of sold-out shows and proudly shared bills with talent the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Peter Frampton, Buddy Guy and Rival Sons. 2020’s ‘Last Light On The Highway’ garnered worldwide acclaim for the band and 2021’s ‘Shine A Light On Me Brother’ continued their upward trajectory, leading to a collaboration with Journeyman Records. They released two singles in early 2022 “Waiting For Your Man” and “She’s A Fighter.” On September 30th, The Wreck released their latest Album ‘Wreckage Vol. 2,’ which has paved the way for even more new and exciting music from the band.

Canadian DECORPSETATED Announce Debut Album “Human Words”

East Coast Canadian death/Thrash act DECORPSETATED announces upcoming debut album “Human Words” and reveal artwork.

decorpsetated
/dəˈkôrpsəˌtādəd/

adjective: decorpsetated

(of a sentient being) to have had one’s corpse violently and abruptly removed from their soul.
“this decorpsetated soul may never find its way without a vessel”

Description:

Track by track, Human Words peals back the layers of human selfishness. With teeth gnashed and claws drawn, this vicious account of raw humanity will leave you questioning how we still exist, as well as whether we should… oh, and it rips pretty hard, if you’re into that sort of thing.

From the artist:

“As musicians we often end up with seemingly endless folders of unreleased music for one reason or another. You always tell yourself you’ll put together an album but you never do. So I started chipping away at a collection of my favourites with absolutely no vision of how it would turn out. 3 years later I’m sitting back in my studio listening to songs I thought were about greed, war, and extinction, only to be slammed with the reality that these were in fact metaphorical manifestations of my own emotional bullshit. In that moment I knew these stories had to be shared. What if someone else is facing similar struggles and trying to interpret them through a similar lens?” -Marc

Angolan KISHI Release Video for New Single ‘Dead Lost Rumbled’

Dead Lost Rumbled is the new single from Angolan metal tyrants KISHI taken from their new EP Khaos which releases on the 17th February 2023 via Mongrel Records (digital) and Nightfear Records (CD).

Formed in October 2017 by Bruno Braz (Guitar), Hugo Domingos (Bass), Yannick Merino (Drums) and Mankav (Vocals).  The band’s sound is an amalgamation of metal, stoner rock, doom, and death metal.

“Dead lost Rumbled” is inspired by episodes of sleep paralysis that I’ve been experiencing for a few years, At first it haunted me every night, I was afraid to sleep, I felt paralyzed, I had a lot of difficulty breathing, I couldn’t speak, I had blurred vision, as if I was trapped inside my own body, and it all ended after hearing some kind of rumble, this experience is metal as fuck, so I told my bandmates what I’ve been experiencing and we started writing the song” – Mankav, vocals.

In December 2017, they surprised the public by introducing the band with the release of two singles ”Pina” and ”Kianda”. Thus began the band’s journey into the rock scene in Angola, with their first live performance taking place in May 2018 at “Moonfest” in Luanda.

In 2018, under the guidance of Mauro Almeida, the band recorded eight songs for the album ”Depois da Meia Noite” at Estúdio Rádio Vial, in Luanda. The band later took over the editing and mixing of the songs with mastering being handled by Brad Boatright, from Studio Audiosiege (Sleep, Obituary, Code Orange).

This album was highly acclaimed in the international specialized media, on sites such as Audioinferno Whiplash.Net, 666MrDoom, Portal do Inferno, amongst others.

The track “Get Stoned” was chosen to be the first official single and video off the album “Depois da Meia Noite”. The second music video “Balada de um Mwadié” was recorded by the band during a trip, that took them to play at ”Metal Conquest Namibia” at the venue Warehouse Theater, Windhoek (Namibia) and ”Overthrust WinterMania Metal Fest 2019” in Ganzhi (Botswana).

Ending 2019 with the participation on the 9th edition of the mythical Huambo rock festival ORLEI (Angola). This would be the band’s last concert with the drummer Yannick Merino.

After Merino’s departure, the band went on hiatus during 2020. The covid and the global crisis slowed down the band’s progress but inspired the next steps. In mid-2021, Kishi began the process of recording the EP ”Khaos”, produced once again by Hugo Domingos and Bruno Braz and mastered by Brad Boatright. Completed in November 2022, it will be released on the 17th February 2023 with the South African label Mongrel Records and Portuguese Nightfear Records.

HONG FAUX Release Video for New Single ‘Starkiller’

‘Starkiller‘ is the second single from Swedish rockers HONG FAUX in anticipation of their upcoming album Desolation Years, due out later in 2023. Flirting with the songwriting of the 90s, this track seduces you with an Americana seasoned verse before throwing you into an arena chorus laced with big vocals and a message to get your shit together.

ABOUT HONG FAUX
Ever since Hong Faux’s very first recorded notes that started their journey from blog, to magazines, to radio and MTV, people have tried to label the music and try to figure out the meaning of the band’s name. A London promoter called it “Old school super sludgy riffology with blues wailin’ vox”. Listening to the songs ‘Present Tense-Less’ and ‘Bad City Blues’ on their debut album, it would be foolish to argue against such a statement. On the other hand, you’ll find the sound that brought together four guys with very diverse musical tastes and backgrounds.

One of the things the band members all dig on the same level is the harder bands that came out of Seattle in the early nineties. So, all put together, with a few added ingredients, you get heavy stoner riff galore with strong melodic vocals that honour the harmonic complexity of the grunge era.
“Our ambition is to combine the guitar riffs from the 70’s, the grunge scenes more melodic arts from the 90’s with modern rock. We have always enjoyed pop choruses and were convinced that the harder rock crew would think we were wimpy. But we were wrong… I guess even the cool dudes like to be tickled on the thighs every once and a while.” – lead singer Nik Serén.

The four-piece has done shows all over Europe, sharing stages with such diverse bands as D-A-D, Clutch, Graveyard, Danko Jones, Coheed and Cambria and Babyshambles. You can count on Hong Faux delivering both weight and melody, just like they always do.

Line-up:
Niklas Serén – Lead vocals & guitar
Björn Billgren – Lead guitar
Johan Bergqvist – Bass & vocals
Jonathan Hummelman – Drumkit
