Finnish progressive metal band SUM OF SEVEN released a new single and music video ”The Monster…The King’. The track is released in collaboration with Inverse Records.
Ari Lempinen comments: “In the song The Monster…The King we We wanted to give more room to the instruments to tell the story supporting the vocals. The song flows with tasty solos and tight riffs in synergy with Marko’s vocals and dances between succulent blasting and a relaxing respite. The music reflects the atmosphere of the lyrics, which dive deep into a dreamlike space where the monsters and kings within us are in juxtaposition. The music video features the skilled breakdancer Jose Granados aka Bboy Kalaco who interprets the mood and the message of the song with his skillful moves.“
TEMPT have released their cover of Queen’s iconic masterpiece “We Will Rock You” for distribution to all DSPs. The single release which was mixed by Grammy Award winner Chris Lord-Alge follows the band’s successful premier of the song’s video that highlighted the incredible response that they received on their European tour.
Dr Sir Brian May has blessed Tempt’s version of his classic song giving the band meaningful words of encouragement. On hearing the track he said “I’m very honoured that Tempt play We Will Rock You, and with so much passion! – Tempt I’m all ears !”
“We were very excited to hear that Sir Brian heard the track and liked it” said Tempt’s lead guitarist Harrison Marcello. “When artists of his stature take the time to listen to and recognize the work of the next generation it means so much to all of us. We had a similar experience with Def Leppard posting our work on social media. When legends such as Sir Brian or Def Leppard extend a helping hand it has a real impact”
The band is donating all the proceeds from the single to Save Me Trust (www.Savemetrust.org) a group dedicated to protecting the welfare and dignity of wild animals. “Although I am an American, I spend a good deal of time with family in the UK countryside and honoring Sir Brian by supporting a UK initiative that he is involved with that also feels local and important to us gives the project extra meaning.” continued Marcello, “We hope that Queen fans everywhere will join us and donate and that fans in other countries will reach out to donate to causes that support wildlife in their part of the world.” Anne Brummer, Chief Executive Officer of Save Me Trust, adds “We are thrilled that Tempt are supporting Save Me Trust and helping us to continue to give wildlife a voice; we love their positivity and the energy they bring to their cover of ‘We Will Rock You’ – rock on!”
“We get asked a lot about why we did this cover” said Lead Singer, Zach Allen. “The reason is simple. This song is a rallying cry and a celebration of rock music. It’s emblematic of the fact that rock music has never gone away and never will. While we are exploring songs and sounds that are different sonically and that can’t be placed into a tidy musical box and labelled as rock, it is in our DNA and we want to pay homage to and acknowledge the greats that came before us and the influence that they have on us. It’s the same spirit that moves us and this song captures that. On our tour, we saw just how passionate and fearless rock music fans are. They actively seek out and embrace new music and bands and we’re grateful for all of the enthusiastic support we have received from them”
The band will be launching a number of social media initiatives in support of the video and single including appearances by special guest guitarists and fan participation. “We wanted to encourage participation from fans, so we have invited a number of well known guitarists to perform on the solo section for inspiration and will then open it up to fans to put their own spin on it whether with their own electric guitar solo or a banjo or vocal or kazoo. We just want to let everyone jump in and rock us.

Tara Lynch returns with her legendary guests Vinny Appice, Bjorn Englen and producer Brent Woods to bring you an anthemic song she wrote in dedication to her love for fast cars and the racetrack. Check out her official “Badassery” video, a documentary-style love note to cars and guitars that features Tara Lynch doing exactly what she loves both on tour and at the racetrack.
Musicians with as many talents as Tara Lynch (nickname: “Gui-Tara”) are a rare find. The American multi-instrumentalist, who has both recorded and toured internationally, sings and shreds on guitar, as well as plays bass, drums and piano, in addition to composing all her own material. At the same time, she enjoys an excellent reputation among her colleagues and not only deployed her own skills on her debut album Evil Enough but was supported by international stars such as Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath/Dio), Tony MacAlpine, Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne/Billy Idol), Mark Boals (Dokken/Yngwie Malmsteen, Ted Nugent), Brent Woods (Vince Neil/Sebastian Bach), Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper) and Björn Englen (Quiet Riot/Yngwie Malmsteen) as guest musicians.
Tara Lynch, who has studied with Steve Vai (Frank Zappa, Alcatrazz, David Lee Roth), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Black Country Communion, Joe Bonamassa), among others, relies primarily on inspiration and instinct, despite her accomplished technical skill: “What you hear is exactly what comes out of me without any pre-programmed ideas. I have lived quite a colourful life thus far and have lots of things to talk about, so when I write my music I just say it like it is. I do the same with my guitar playing. I’m not out there to impress anybody, just to tell my story and hope that people enjoy what they hear and can even relate.”
In March/April 2019, Tara embarked on her EVIL ENOUGH TOUR in the UK & Ireland as special guest of UFO where the crowds filled each and every venue to capacity to see Tara open each night, which is very unusual for an opener! The tour was a great success. In October 2019, TARA continued her EVIL ENOUGH TOUR joining the ranks of artists Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Queensryche and many more, rockin’ the high seas on the MEGADETH MEGACRUISE where she put on her touring show and also participated in a Q&A and artist/cruiser jam session. November 2019 through February 2020 saw Tara continue her EVIL ENOUGH TOUR in the USA (as special guest of Last In Line).
Tara headlined the HeartSupport stage in September 2021 at the sold out Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Danville, Virginia where 160,000 tickets were sold. From December 2021 thru April 2022 Tara Lynch continued her EVIL ENOUGH TOUR in the USA as special guest of Last In Line. In May 2022, Tara brought her EVIL ENOUGH TOUR back to Europe as special guest of Vinnie Moore. This month-long run included headlining shows in Austria and Czech Republic.
“I have known Tara for years now and have always been amazed by her grace and poise as a lovely human being and dear friend. Well now it is time for all to be amazed by these divine musical gifts that she also possesses! A great player and singer to not only work with, but to listen and rock to!” – Tony MacAlpine
“Tara is like discovering an unfound gem. Combining fantastic guitar playing, great songwriting and amazing vocals she is a new force to be listened to!!!” – Vinny Appice
“Tara is an as yet greatly undiscovered talent. Writer, guitar player and singer she represents a powerful presence in this mainly male dominated genre. Working with her on her new record it is evident that she is destined for greatness.” – Phil Soussan
“Tara Lynch has a beautiful natural vibrato that I have only heard in the very top guitar players.” – Derek Sherinian
Drummers like to be challenged and Tara’s music definitely fits that description. I had a blast recording these songs and it’s an honor to be featured on a record with so many other great players and friends!” – Glen Sobel

SERAINA TELLI has released a new single “I Dare To (Acoustic – Live From The Cave)”.
SERAINA TELLI dares to be different and she definitely dares to leave her band out for once and show off her talent only with an acoustic guitar. Well, a great song does not need many bells and whistles as the acoustic version of “I Dare To” proves it.
The electric version of the song is part of Seraina’s great debut album “Simple Talk” wich was released on 21.10.2022 on Metalville Records.
Driven by the desire to be part of the solution rather than the problem, WRITING THE FUTURE raise the metal-axe for those who can’t do it alone. They offer a punch to the face in all the colors of the rainbow, a rush of feelings that will make you lose your breath.
Their emphasis lies in their pride to stand up for themselves and fight for the mutual goals between them and their fans and followers. Expect to relate if you have ever been bullied, abused, or depressed or if you have opinions on religion, climate or world health.
They release their new single ‘Sk1nD3ad’, continuing to expand on their patented sound and concept. It’s a fierce uptempo song that feels like a brutal and captivating tornado of emotions which is something that reflects in the music video – we dare you to watch it! Sk1nD3ad is the last single ahead of their upcoming album.
