FLESHCRAWL unveil a torrent of ferocious bloodshed, chaos and power in their tenth studio album, Epitome of Carnage, out now via Distortion Music Group (DMG) – Powered by Reigning Phoenix Music. Accompanying the full length release is a rampage of gloom in the new music video for “Chapel of Guts”.

On “Chapel of Guts” FLESHCRAWL share, “with ‘Chapel of Guts’ we wanted to showcase the full spectrum of our sound. This track stands out from our more classic Swedish Death Metal tracks, making it the perfect contrast to the other singles and the album as a whole. It’s a short break from the more straight-forward tracks, offering a more dark contrast.”

“It digs a bit deeper into the Fleshcrawl roots, combining heavy, doomy passages with intense blast beats and a lot of dynamics. It captures that darker atmosphere we wanted to have on the record. It is Death Metal with a room to breathe and then to choke.”

On the writing process the band explain, “We didn’t force it into a specific direction; we just let the track develop its own flow and energy during the writing process.”

A foreboding darkness awaits in “Chapel of Guts”. A haunting, enveloping atmosphere swells and hurriedly subsides as the pace increases and intensity rises. As the heaviness ebbs and flows through chaos, it’s ferocious brutality leaves nothing in its wake.

The long-awaited Epitome of Carnage is constructed on the foundation of an expansive career. FLESHCRAWL remain devoted to the death metal genre despite having encountered loss and change along the way. As the tenth full-length release, the new album stands as testament to FLESHCRAWL‘s unwavering creativity and drive. Arriving seven years after 2019’s Into the Catacombs of Flesh, Epitome of Carnage reveals a renewed vigor and power that bleeds through the track list.

Contained within Epitome of Carnage are twelve vicious onslaughts that showcase FLESHCRAWL‘s unimpeded speed and power. Materializing alongside demonstrations of inescapable heaviness, explosive riffs, and melodic touches amongst the shadows, they leave behind no survivors.

About FLESHCRAWL:

FLESHCRAWL was founded in the spring of 1987 in Illertissen, Germany, by Stefan Hanus and Bastian Herzog. Initially operating under the name Morgöth, the band adopted a markedly more extreme musical direction in 1990 and briefly performed as Suffocation. However, with the emergence of the American band of the same name and their impending vinyl debut, another name change became necessary. Thus, FLESHCRAWL was born.

Through decades of evolution, challenges, and perseverance, FLESHCRAWL has remained steadfast in its mission: delivering uncompromising, traditional death metal with authenticity, power, and unwavering conviction. In 2020, with a completely renewed and revitalized guitar lineup, the band entered the first songwriting sessions for their tenth studio album.

On June 11th, 2021, long-time vocalist Sven “Svenson” Gross passed away after a courageous battle with cancer that lasted over a year. His loss was a profound tragedy, deeply felt by his family, friends, and the entire FLESHCRAWL community. Despite this immense personal and professional blow, stepping back from their mission in death metal was never an option. The band began the search for a new voice to carry their legacy forward, and on October 15th, 2021, Borisz Sarafutgyinov was officially announced as FLESHCRAWL’s new and permanent frontman, ushering in a new chapter for the band.

Songwriting continued steadily throughout 2023, 2024, and into 2025, while the band maintained a strong live presence, performing at further renowned events such as Metal Gate Czech Deathfest, Hell over Aschaffenburg, Nice to Eat You Deathfest, Eindhoven Metal Meeting, Bucharest Deathfest, Heidelberg Metal Meeting, Braincrusher in Hell, Sick Midsummer, and the 70000 Tons of Metal cruise.

By 2025, songwriting for the successor to Into the Catacombs of Flesh (2019) was nearing completion. The band found a strong and capable new partner in Reigning Phoenix Music, securing a new label home for the release of Epitome of Carnage. In November 2025 FLESHCRAWL signed a worldwide deal with DMG.

XION Reveal New Single ‘Zero Light’ & Kick Off Album Pre-Order for “When Stars Collide”

Swedish metal newcomers XION are set to release their second album, „When Stars Collide“, on September 11th via Fireflash Records. XION’s fresh blend of speed and thrash metal sounds unique, and you can clearly sense the power, dedication, boundless energy and ambition of this young band.

Today, XION release the first new single “Zero Light” from the upcoming album ”It is one of the heaviest songs on the album. It’s fast, chaotic, and hits you right in the chest”, comments the band

  • Get the single here: https://save-it.cc/fireflash/zero-light
  • Get the track on Bandcamp: https://ff-xion.bandcamp.com/track/zero-light

The quintet was formed in 2022, when some of the members were still under 18, yet they were already playing with the same precision and energy as more established metal bands. Since then, the band from Falun – the hometown of acts such as SABATON, BROTHERS OF METAL, TWILIGHT FORCE and others – has taken the world by storm. The combination of the members’ young age and their extremely precise and virtuosic musical skills has made XION one of the most interesting and promising newcomers on the Swedish metal scene in many years.

In January 2024, XION released their debut album “Between Shadows and Gods”, produced by Johan Reivén (RAM, HOSTILIA, among others). They performed as the support act for IN FLAMES and the GENE SIMMONS BAND at the legendary “Dalhalla Arena” and played at several festivals, including “Gefle Metal”, “Sweden Rock Festival” and the “Sabaton Cruise”. Their concerts have been highly praised. Sweden Rock Magazine rated one of their live performances 9/10, and their performance at the “Sweden Rock Festival” itself received a rating of 4/5. In 2023, the band also won the “Imagine Sweden” music competition.

In June 2025, XION released the single “Wasteland of Time”, produced by Jonas Arnberg (METHANE, DEMONICAL, among others), who is also producing the band’s upcoming studio album, “When Stars Collide”. This track also convinced Fireflash Records to offer them a record deal.

The upcoming new album “When Stars Collide” takes things a step further and showcases the band at their very best. The entire record is packed with surprises and metal anthems that stick in your memory. “This upcoming album consists of tracks we’ve worked on for a very long time and put a lot of effort into,” reveals the band – and every serious metalhead should definitely check out these young, up-and-coming stars. XION is the future!

“When Stars Collide” will be available on a CD Jewelcase, phantiom purple Vinyl (incl. 4-page insert & signed autograph card), digtal and via Bandcamp with various bundle options.

Necrodeath Drummer PESO issues updates on his project PESO666:

The composition phase is well underway, the songs are taking shape, but some things still need to be completed and arranged in various places. However, one thing is definitely finished, the logo design, thanks to the great artist Stefano Rumich with whom I was in contact for several weeks, and thanks to him I achieved the result I wanted.

Recently Peso shared about his new project:
December 27th, 2025, is a date I will always carry in my heart. It was the last live show by Necrodeath, the band that has been my life for the last 40 years. On January 1st, 2026, I felt the need to close myself in the studio for all these months to compose new songs, trying my hand on the bass and even vocals, something I had never done before, thus giving life to my new solo project: PESO666 Stay tuned…. (Marco “peso” Pesenti)

Stay tuned for next updates!

BLOODHUNTER Celebrate Release of New Album “Sons Of The Abandoned” with Video for ‘Masters Of Deceive’

Spanish melodic death metal powerhouse BLOODHUNTER have officially released their brand-new studio album “Sons Of The Abandoned” via ROAR – A Division of Reigning Phoenix Music.

Marking this milestone, the band are not only kicking off a run of Spanish live dates alongside CRYPTA today, but are also premiering a brand-new music video for “Masters Of Deceive”, one of the album’s most dynamic and emotionally charged tracks.

Guitarist Dani Arcos comments:

“This song is insane. We mixed guttural and melodic vocals, slow and melodic choruses with the most extreme riffs on the album… and there’s even a recorded piano that you only realize has been there the whole time at the end of the song.”

Vocalist Diva Satánica adds:

“This song includes my very first clean backing vocals in BLOODHUNTER. I really wanted to give it a try because it represented the eternal disappointment of people trying to pull out from me a different version of myself but which I didn’t really feel identified with as a vocalist. This song speaks about toxic environments and how hard is to step out from there to follow your own path. It was the first song that we wrote for this album: it goes from a very dramatic chorus to the most enraged verses, to represent the complex dynamics in a relationship.”

Formed in Galicia, BLOODHUNTER have steadily carved their name into the international extreme metal scene through relentless touring, uncompromising sound and a clear artistic vision. Fronted by Diva Satanica, the band blends extreme metal aggression with melodic depth, groove and narrative ambition, forging a sound that is both ferocious and emotionally charged.

Since their inception, BLOODHUNTER have stood out for their conceptual approach and strong identity. Their music has always balanced brutality with atmosphere, drawing from themes such as ancient civilizations, power, human conflict and transcendence. Over the years, the band has evolved naturally, refining their songwriting and pushing beyond genre boundaries without losing their aggressive core.

“Sons Of The Abandoned”, produced by Tue Madsen, marks a turning point in BLOODHUNTER’s career. It is their most personal and honest album so far, shifting the focus inward to explore identity, vulnerability, personal struggle and the cost of pursuing one’s own path. For the first time, the lyrics speak directly from the heart, addressing inner demons, toxic environments, generational disconnection and the feeling of being lost in a world driven by individuality and superficial values. Musically, the album expands the band’s palette. Crushing riffs coexist with elegant grooves and striking melodic passages, while sharp contrasts define the songwriting: rage against beauty, speed against atmosphere, darkness against clarity.

With “Sons Of The Abandoned”, BLOODHUNTER solidify themselves as a band unafraid to evolve, challenge expectations and expose their own scars. This is not just another extreme metal album, it is a statement of identity, resistance and survival in a world that constantly demands compromise.

MOLOKEN Release Second Single ‘Fault Line’ from Upcoming Self-Titled Fifth Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on June 13, 2026

Umeå, Sweden based four-piece Moloken recently announced their self-titled fifth album for a September 25th release via Discouraged Records, marking a powerful return after six years of silence – a dark, introspective journey through themes of consciousness, death, and eternity. The announcement was accompanied by the first single and video ‘A Night Vision Revealed (Asterion Pt. I), and today, the band follows up with the second single ‘Fault Line’.

‘Fault Line’ continues the band’s exploration of new sonic territory while remaining firmly rooted in the darkness and weight that have defined them for nearly two decades. Clean vocals intertwine with towering walls of sound before giving way to a crushing growled refrain, creating a stark contrast between fragility and force. The result is a song that feels both familiar and transformative — a fault line between who Moloken were and who they are becoming.

Guitarist Patrik Ylmefors states on ‘Fault Line’:

“Fault Line emerged from the ruins of a friendship that slowly unraveled, transforming shared histories into distant memories. It captures the moment when the fault line finally breaks open beneath your feet — when the certainty of loss becomes impossible to ignore. Balancing sorrow with hard-won clarity, the song reflects on endings, the faint possibility of new beginnings, and the realization that some absences remain with us long after we have learned to live around them.”

Alongside the release of ‘Fault Line’, the band also shares the artwork and the album tracklist, which consists of seven compositions. The album is released on digital formats, CD and on vinyl in 250 copies with pre-orders being available soon.

Listen to MOLOKEN’s new single ‘Fault Line’ HERE

Doom, death, black, sludge or post – few metal subgenres escape Moloken’s gravitational pull. Since forming in 2007, the four-piece from Umeå, Sweden has consistently pushed the boundaries of their sound, carving out new musical terrain with each release.

Moloken’s music moves like a shifting legend. For nearly two decades it has passed from listener to listener, changing shape along the way and leaving behind a lingering aura of mystique. Pinning the band down to a single genre is nearly impossible – but their uncompromising weight and precision as a live act are undeniable. At its core, Moloken is an experience: something to be felt rather than explained, reaching its full force on stage.

The band’s fifth album revolves around the burden of consciousness, death, and eternity. It unfolds as a journey through a Nordic mythscape, drawing the listener deep into a dense forest. Lush melancholy intertwines with a creeping unease; what first feels inviting gradually becomes disorienting. When the illusion breaks, you find yourself alone in the dark, surrounded by your own thoughts – with only a faint light somewhere beyond the fear.

After six years of silence, the album marks a powerful return. Moloken reconnects with a more primal, doom-laden foundation while expanding their sonic palette: clean vocals, acoustic passages, and subtle traces of Nordic folk music are woven into the whole. Since ‘Unveillance of Dark Matter’ (2020), the band has undergone significant changes shaped by loss, hardship, and transformation – all of which resonate throughout the new material.

BLOOD WHITE Release New Single ‘All I Said Was A Lie’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on June 13, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: BLOOD WHITE. Leave a comment

BLOOD WHITE release the new single “All I Said Was A Lie”, taken from the upcoming studio album “From Hell” out on August 28 at Metalville.

‘All I Said Was A Lie’ unleashes melodic death metal at its most powerful: heavy riffs, driving drums and epic melodies merge into a storm of energy and emotion. Combining Nordic power with modern precision, the song delivers a gripping blend of intensity and atmosphere.

There are countless young bands that are still searching for their own individual musical identity and a breakthrough image based on their own visionary concept. And then there’s BLOOD WHITE, a band that has already found all these factors. Although the five-piece band has only been together since 2022, their sound is incredibly mature, creative and unique. BLOOD WHITE have developed a refined, distinctive mix of modern metal, rock and hardcore which leaves a lasting impression. Added to that, the band’s incredible stage outfits, highlighted through their glaring red and white ‘corporate identity’, sets the quintet apart from the genre’s standard dull, black style which so many of their contemporaries seem to favour. But most importantly, their debut album, “From Hell”, presents music of a standard rarely found in newcomer acts.

The songs mix raw metal riffs and brutal grooves with catchy choruses which enables listeners who are less into the metal-genre immediate access to their exciting, hellraising music. Listen to tracks such as “All I Said Was A Lie”‚ “Bloodified”, “I Smell Blood” or “From Hell” and watch the videos of “Run Or Die” and “Guns & Fear” which all show BLOOD WHITE’s extensive range of stylistic potential and musical influences. At the same time, the album also provides a number of surprises.

Practically out of nowhere (or rather, out of darkest hell), singer Dr. Zero projects a deep sense of melancholy, grief and anger on “Before I Die”, deliberately leaving a number of questions unanswered. Dr. Zero: “The song says something about me, and its metaphors express precisely what I want to share with our audience. It’s about love, about its dependence on your own emotions and on what constitutes the bleakness of grief. Thoughts of having nothing left but a refuge, albeit one that makes you slide even deeper into the abyss than you already have.”

“From Hell” and “Fear” strike a similar lyrical note and present demonic verbal exchanges on God and the world, preachers, monsters and demons, as well as the eternal horror of war and devastation leading, ultimately, to the destruction of one’s own soul. Dr. Zero added: “Most of our songs are about the chasms of the human mind, its capacity for absolute evil, a contradiction to love and compassion. This contraction also resonates in the name “Blood White”, red being a symbol of blood, but also of love, and white stands for innocence and eternity evoking that glistening, bright light that people who have experienced ‘being clinically dead’ talk about.”

The appraisal above says it all! BLOOD WHITE hold everything in their own hands, it’s all there to be seen and heard: the music, the videos, the album sleeve, the photos – the entire band and its image!

BLOOD WHITE are fulfilling the promise of an even more spectacular (metal) future!
