ONE HORSE BAND Release New Single ‘Santa Claus’

“Santa Claus” is the ONE HORSE BAND‘s first single from the forthcoming album due for release in 2023 via Go Down Records. Recorded at Dream House Studios in Toronto, produced and mixed by Dave Schiffman (two-time winner at Grammy Awards and well known for his long collaboration with Rick Rubin), the track breaks a three-year hiatus and shows a marked evolution in the One Horse Band‘s sound, which is now more layered and refined than in the past. The use of synthesizers, acoustic guitars and percussion works together with the basic setup of every one man band. All this matches perfectly with the dreamy lyrics that give the listener full freedom of interpretation. “Santa Claus” is a wonderful contemporary fairy tale, speaking of oppression, freedom and rising to parallel worlds in which to finally feel at ease.

About One Horse Band:

Someone says he’s half beast and half man, son of a thunderous crash between lysergic hallucinations and brutal reality, a psycho race to a tragic end. The truth is ONE HORSE BAND happens to be the loudest one man band on Planet Earth, standing on the verge of human abyss with his unique blend of alternative rock, post-punk anger and raw blues reminiscence.

Based in Milan, Italy, he self recorded his first album Let’s Gallop! in 2017 and got involved in a never ending tour through Italy and Europe, building his solid reputation and constantly improving his incredible live show.

In 2018 he wrote his sophomore album Keep On Dancing, entirely produced by the legendary Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, The Sonics, The Dirtbombs), recorded at Outside Inside Studio in Italy and released by Area Pirata in 2019.

In late 2021 he travelled to Canada and started working on his new record with Dave Schiffman (two times Grammy Award winner and known for his long time collaboration with Rick Rubin) at Dreamhouse Studios in Toronto. A new album is going to be released in Spring 2023 via Go Down Records, anticipated by a few single releases, leading up to the full record.

Through the years One Horse Band has constantly overstepped every barrier in the one man band niche, destroying cliches and proudly embodying both animal’s wilderness and brittleness of human nature.

Italian SEPOLCRAL Sign with Time To Kill Records, New Album Coming in 2023

Time To Kill Records is proud to announce the signing of Italian death metallers SEPOLCRAL.

The band is currently putting the finishing touches to the new album “Scourge”, which will be released in 2023.

Formed in 1993, Italy’s SEPOLCRAL have lurked in the underground across a handful of demos and a couple of albums (including the infamous debut album “Victims”, recorded in 1996 but released only in 2017).

SEPOLCRAL’s vision of death metal is as relentless as it gets: sinister and raw, often influenced by grind and hardcore and always sharp, full of barbed hooks, thick with atmosphere and drenched in groove.

SAVAGE EXISTENCE to Release Self-Titled Album on April 27th

On April 27th, 2023, SAVAGE EXISTENCE will present their self-titled album — honest, violent, groovy and still crazy savage!

As a follow-up to their 2021 album ‘Animals,’ the upcoming album is Just what a true metalhead needs. And prior to the album’s release, a single will be issued for the track “Steady Blows to the Head,” on January 9th, 2023 (with a video for the song to be issued on January 19th that you can view here:

Formed in Costa Rica by Daniel Cleland (guitars) and Jesse Radford (drums), both entrepreneurs from Canada, and singer and songwriter Anton Darusso. They are joined by Daniel Ramos (bass) and Andreas Castro (guitars). 

“Savage Existence revisits old school groove metal with elements of American metal, death metal, and southern rock, with lyrics that speak about real life issues and relevant concerns of the modern day,” is how Cleland describes the group’s sound. 

“We made the new self-titled Savage Existence album as a fully collaborative unit, more experienced and better equipped than the first recording. We recorded with Logan Mader for a second time, but accessed the top notch gear in The Hideout, Skeleton Key, and Logan’s personal studios in Las Vegas. There are more vicious guitar solos, more complex overall arrangements to the songs, and generally we feel that this album shows-off just better composition. I really hope people are going to accept and love this record!”

“Logan Mader is of course one of the pioneers of groove metal from the 90s, and he’s produced debut albums for top selling bands like Gojira, Five Finger Death Punch, Devildriver and Cavalera Conspiracy. So having him in our corner has been a great asset.”

And although its release is still on the horizon, Cleland already has a few favorite tracks. “Personally my favorite tracks are ‘Cull,’ ‘Matricide,’ and ‘Enigma.’ I love the brutality and in your face lyrics of ‘Cull.’ I love the heavy melodic riffs of ‘Matricide’ along with the two guitar solos by Gary Holt. And I love the philosophizing lyrics of ‘Enigma,’ along with another Gary Holt solo. However another couple of awesome songs with great choruses and riffs are ‘Leap of Faith’ and ‘Standing in Flames.’”

Lastly, what are Savage Existence’s plans once the album is unleashed? “World domination! We’re doing some touring in South America while we wait for our USA visas to come though, and planning on touring Europe this summer. The whole idea is to support our upcoming releases with at least a year of touring!”

Polish death metal legends VADER are proud to announce their “Revelation Of The Wicked – North American 2023” tour. The 29-date trek will kick off in Arizona on March 18th, the tour will make stops in Atlanta, Quebec City, and Salt Lake City before concluding in San Diego on April 17th. Joining the tour are Brazil’s death metal heroes KRISIUN and brutal-tech death merchants and labelmates DECREPIT BIRTH.
