International Supergroup THE LAST ROCKSTARS to Release First Single ‘The Last Rockstars (Paris Mix)’ on December 23rd

THE LAST ROCKSTARS, a newly formed outfit comprised of four of Japan’s biggest rock stars – YOSHIKI, HYDE, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI announce the release of their highly anticipated first single on Melodee Music, aptly titled “The Last Rockstars (Paris Mix),” on Friday, December 23rd.

The single will be distributed globally by Ingrooves Music Group to music streaming services. (Ingrooves is part of Virgin Music Group, the newly formed global independent music division of Universal Music Group.) Melodee is a next-generation platform connecting artists and creators with their fans.

This release marks the first of what will be a big roll out of new music to come from the group through 2023.  A music video for the hard hitting, alternative rock anthem is also scheduled to drop the same day.

The announcement comes on the heels of a worldwide live reveal on November 11th in Tokyo, where the four international rock legends announced a series of “Live Debut” shows scheduled for early 2023 in Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles. The group most recently added a second show at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. Tickets for all shows are on-sale now.

The idea to form THE LAST ROCKSTARS came together organically according to all members.  Under the shared goal to “make the world rock,” the group have been actively collaborating on new music, with highly anticipated releases to come through 2023.  

YOSHIKI said, “Because I was traveling around the world, I finished recording in Paris remotely with the US and Japan. That’s why we call this the “Paris Mix”. When I composed this song, I was imagining all 4 of us together combining dance music and rock. Let’s dance to this song.”

Irish Post Metal Sludge Doomsters RAUM KINGDOM, after their critically acclaimed debut “Everything & Nothing”, announce full details of their sophomore album entitled “Monarch”.

Grateful and humbled by the inundation of positive reviews and attention from music critics, webzines and fans from across the globe, haunting, fearful, Raum Kingdom continue to create hype in the community by doing what they passionately enjoy doing.

RAUM KINGDOM started out in late 2013 on the east coast of Ireland when singer Dave Lee and guitarist Andrew Colohan set out to create a soul crushing experience of sonics. When long time friends, bassist Ronan Connor and drummer Mark Gilchrist joined the line up, the project was ready to express itself. 

Exploring their collective passion for all heavy genres of music, the four-piece began to channel that energy into what would turn out to be RAUM KINGDOM’s first, self-titled five track EP, self-released in April 2014. Taken unawares by the instant and positive critical response, RAUM KINGDOM‘s ability to resound with their audience comes from their heart for turning negativity into positivity and the ethos of having a blast doing what they have a passion for. To date, the band has completed numerous shows on the Euro circuit, and released an EP, a split EP with Belgian group All We Expected, and their much acclaimed debut album ‘Everything & Nothing’, a one hour sonic journey of redemtion and hope.

After the sudden and sad passing of bass player Ronan Connor in March 2021, RAUM KINGDOM wanted to release their last recordings and writings in respect for Ronan’s memory. 

Their new effort is something beyond everything: emotive, melodic, atmospheric and hypnotizing. A musical journey for our deep senses.

MONARCH will be released on January 27th by ARGONAUTA Records.

COOCHILLA is a groovy five headed alt-rock band with an organic, yet extraordinary feel. Israeli SCARDUST Reveal Secret Project with ‘Evolution of the Disney Princess – but she’s METAL’ Video

Over the last year, SCARDUST have been teasing a “Secret Project” on their social media channels, asking their fans to guess what the secret is about… Today the secret is finally revealed. A magical fairy tale or heavy progressive complexity? WHY NOT BOTH?

“We didn’t have to think too much about this one, our fans did it for us,” explains singer Noa Gruman. “Over the years, they have called us ‘Disney Metal’ on so many occasions while describing our music, we felt like we owed it to them and to the rest of the world!”

SCARDUST is proud to present: “Evolution of the Disney Princess – but she’s METAL.” A journey through the years, chronologically representing the different Disney princesses, backed up with the band’s heavy and complex instrumentation, Noa’s versatile singing, and the epic Hellscore choir. All this goodness is brought to life in a complementary one-take video, emphasizing the evolving medley concept.

Between writing and recording their next album, and while touring again after the pandemic pause, SCARDUST were able to put this project together and even document the entire process. A recording VLOG can be found on their YouTube channel, and soon after the video release, a behind-the-scenes video will pop up there as well. Additionally, the song is available for streaming and download on Bandcamp and various other digital platforms.

SCARDUST’s last album, ‘Strangers,’ was released in late 2020 and despite the world’s Covid setback the Israeli quintet persevered through the challenges presented to them and recorded and released a phenomenal effort described by Dead Rhetoric as “captivating from start to finish.” Their sophomore record, ‘Strangers,’ presented a unique concept album built of complementary song pairs working from the outside in resulting in something fresh which received strong critical and fan approval. Seven music videos were presented and the band played shows in their native land, as well as various spots throughout Europe culminating with an appearance at Wacken Open Air Fest.

Noa Gruman is also recognized as a verifiable talent and has also been a featured guest lead vocalist on albums from noteworthy artists including Therion, Amorphis, Orphaned Land, Gloryhammer, Mike LePond, Winterhorde, and Subterranean Masquerade.

HORSE OF TROJA Release New Official Video ‘Night Ride’

Swedish hard rock metallers HORSE OF TROJA have released their official music video for ‘Night Ride’, watch it below.

One of our favorite songs, with lots of melodic parts in a driving uptempo beat. A great live song with lyrics about embracing the night and living in the fast lane at your own terms and conditions.

In any case, Horse Of Troja has a rather nice style and the first thought goes to RAINBOW during the 80s when the not entirely too pronounced guitar arrangements have some Blackmore over them while the keyboard fills in very nicely.  The tough uptempo punk that has given the record its name is a real smoker of the «Spotlight Kid» class, but the band also has heavier veins that can be heard in, among other things, the PHENOMENA-scented «No Mercy» and the opening track ‘Leaving’.

CIRKUS PRÜTZ have released the official lyric video for “Only Rock’n’Roll”. The song is taken taken from the news studio album “Blues Revolution” of the Swedish blues rockers which was released on 29 July by Metalville Records.

When was the last time you heard a blues-rock record that paid tribute to the Ramones and Lemmy alongside Howlin’ Wolf and Chuck Berry?

On their new album “Blues Revolution”, Cirkus Prütz want to disarm the world with the combined support of blues and love.

With their roots in blues, hard rock and punk, the band is not afraid to break the rules. No one tells them what they should or shouldn’t do. They push the limits and break new ground. .

Cirkus Prütz take us from their Swedish home without detours on a hot road trip through Texas with Queens Of The Stoneage, Muddy Waters and ZZ Top on the car radio.

All songs on “Blues Revolution”” were composed by the band together. As was the case with 2019’s previous album “White Jazz – Black Magic”, guitarist Franco Santunione (Electric Boys, Glory Bells Band) took over the production.

It’s bluesy, it swings and it’s in the here and now.
