AMMOTRACK have been a force to be reckoned with for almost two decades now, making appearances in National TV and being heard on the radio throughout Europe. The band is also known for its explosive live shows, and has been on the road with D.A.D and Hardcore Superstar to mention a few.
Now they are back with new music and release their single ‘Under My Skin‘. An energetic and fierce track filled with explosive riffs. Behind it, lies a deeper meaning: As rock musicians, it’s very common to suffer from tinnitus, and approximately 14% of the adult population has it.
“It’s not easy to live with but it does get better if you accept it. To everyone of you out there, stay strong and safe and don’t forget to protect your ears. It’s a high price to pay to being a rock n roll soldier!” – Ammotrack.
After releasing their 9th studio album “Graces Came with Malice” in April 2022, followed by organizing their own two day festival “Märvelfest” and heading on a tour in Spain, the Swedish power trio MÄRVEL continues the celebration of their 20 year anniversary. In the beginning of 2023, the group will be releasing the double vinyl compilation “Double Decade”. Packed with Märvel’s patented take on high-octane and super-catchy rock’n’roll, the double vinyl contains Märvel‘s greatest hits remastered and previously impossible to get B-sides and rare tracks, as well as two brand new, previously unreleased tracks.
The first of these brand new tracks is called “Turn the Page” and is released as a digital single on the 2nd of December. Listen to the track via your favorite streaming platform or right here:
Märvel on “Turn the Page”: “This song was inspired by the way Sweden’s king Carl XVI Gustav handled his affair of infidelity in the Stockholm archipelago by stating that he and the queen would simply turn the page. You don’t have to be a monarch to see the value of being able to move in life without bitterness and remorse. Instead of clinging on to old injustices, ask for forgiveness and a hug and get on with your life. Because life is too short to hold grudges.
Turn the page was recorded at Solskensfabriken while we were working on the album Graces Came With Malice. We loved the songs from the start but it didn’t fit the album. Now it will get its revenge and a moment to shine.“
The double vinyl “Double Decade” will be available in two different set of colors, one containing 2x transparent clear vinyl, and the other containing one transparent orange and one transparent purple vinyl. Both versions come in a luxurious gatefold with an exclusive booklet. “Double Decade” will be released on The Sign Records on February 24, 2023. The album is available for pre-order HERE

Veteran heavy rock band MOS GENERATOR has released their final single, “Getting Good At Revenge,” from their forthcoming, 10th studio album, “Time//Wounds,” that’s due out December 16th. Pre-order the album now at https://mosgenerator.bandcamp.com/album/time-wounds.
Commenting on the song, Tony Reed (guitar/vocals/keys) says:
“Unlike many of the other songs on Time//Wounds, the influences on Getting Good At Revenge are relatively clear. The opening riff was actually written in 1991 and I can say it definitely pulls from things like King Crimson and No Means No. After the vocals enter it becomes full-on My War era Black Flag and stays that way until the breakdown. From the breakdown out, it seems to have more of that underground 80s sound mixed with goth style guitar work. Like if Rick Agnew was in Fugazi. This track stands out as an unexpected turn on the album, but then again, that seems to be the spirit of this collection.“
“Time//Wounds” Tracklisitng: 1. Aja-Minor 2. (Don’t) Wait Until Tomorrow 3. Burn Away The Years 4. Getting Good At Revenge 5. Only Yesterday 6. Until We Meet Again (Parts I-IV)
About MOS GENERATOR: Mos Generator formed during the winter of 2000 in Port Orchard, Washington from the ashes of a ten year off and on collaboration between its three members, all of which are long time veterans of road and studio. The need to strip down to the basics of hard rock was apparent from the start and continues to be the foundation for all the bands recent material.
Mos Generator have released 9 full length studio albums, a retrospective album, 2 live albums and a plethora of split 7″ and 12″ singles on such labels as Listenable, Roadburn, Glory or Death, Small Stone, Ripple, Nasoni, Lay Bare, Hevi Sike, H42, Argonauta, Kozmik Artifactz and Heavy Psych Sounds. Touring has been just as important to the profile of the band as making records has.
Over the years Mos Generator has shared the stage with many great heavy rock bands across Europe and North America including extensive tours with Saint Vitus, FU Manchu, Elder, Spirit Caravan and Atomic Bitchwax. They have also played many prestigious festivals throughout Europe including 2 appearances at Hellfest in France, opening up a whole new fan base to the Mos Generator sound. Their musical partnership extends all the way back to 1984 and the release of the now classic sophomore album from Dokken, Tooth And Nail. No wonder then that when guitarist George Lynch and bassist Jeff Pilson get together, not only do the creative sparks fly but the memories come rushing back as well. Following up on the duo’s most recent trip down memory lane, a full-length a collection of fresh and invigorating versions of hits from yesteryear, 2020’s Heavy Hitters, Lynch and Pilson are releasing a brand new single today, an original song co-written by both artists that reflects back on all the twists and turns that life can bring.
“It’s A Wonderful Life” is simply a gorgeous power ballad that brings out the best in both Lynch and Pilson. Musically, the song has echoes of Tooth And Nail’s smash hit single “Alone Again,” with a beautiful, chiming acoustic guitar intro that gives way to epic, fist-pumping riffs. But lyrically the song couldn’t be more different – instead of regret and sorrow, “It’s A Wonderful Life” boasts a surprisingly optimistic and hopeful outlook on a life’s journey despite the bouts of doubt and indecision. Since the song borrows its title and refrain from the popular 1946 Frank Capra Christmas classic, it seems only fitting that the single is being released just as this year’s holiday season is getting into full swing.
Lynch shares his excitement about the new song, saying “Jeff and I have been woodshedding and writing songs together for 40 years and we’ve never lost that enthusiasm and passion that we shared since day one.” Pilson likewise proclaims, “We just HAD to write our own Christmas track. No ‘Jingle Bells’ for us!”
Watch for Lynch & Pilson’s highly anticipated follow-up album, Heavy Hitters 2, coming later next year!
