Columbus, Ohio, Alt Rock band, AEIR, released a brand new single, “Tug of War”, to all major platforms via Stephen Perkin’s label Perkins Palace Records.
“We wrote this song about the bullshit expectations social media puts on our lives and relationships,”says the band.
AEIR is an Alternative Rock band from Columbus, Ohio. With the world facing uncertainty regarding the global outbreak, the newly formed group did not sit idly by, but instead got straight to work and wrote 40+ songs.
Catching the ear of Stephen Perkins (Janes Addiction), they were quickly signed to his label Perkins Palace Records. “I spent 18 months looking for the right band. The first time I heard AEIR, I wanted to know their story and let the World hear their story and music. I am excited to tell the World about AEIR,” says Stephen.
AEIR previously released two singles, “Smoke ‘Em If You Got Em” and “Body.” Their debut album is expected in 2023. The album will deliver songs of angst, awareness, and feelings of despair – along with rhythmic and melodic intent, notable hooks and powerful vocals.
In addition, the band has signed on with one of the leading entertainment and media companies with an unparalleled list of artists and content creators, William Morris Agency (WME) for booking.
AEIR was added to 5 major festivals this year including Welcome to Rockville, Comfest 50!, Louder Than Life, Inkarceration and Aftershock.
Polish AFTERLOAD have published the music video to the single “From The Ashes” with the participation of the Polish Olympic boxer Karolina Koszewska. The song is, on the one hand, a tribute to the sports achievements and boxing career of Mrs Karolina Koszewska, and symbolically speaks of the value of working on oneself, fighting adversities and not giving up.
This song was recorded in following line-up:
Kamil Tynecki – vocal, guitar Piotr “Toper” Torbicz – bass Michał Żardecki – drums
Mix & mastering (audio): Tomasz “Zed” Zalewski (Decapitated, KAT, Vane) Video edit: Kamil Tynecki Video shots: Kool Shooters and Cottonbro Patronage: Związek Artystów Wykonawców STOART
Behold! A new force has gathered and after times of contemplation, the galaxy has chosen its masters: Thalestris, the Queen of the Lazer-Amazons of Caledonia, Skaw!, the Primordial Berserker from the North, and Prince Angus join forces to defeat Arch Demon Seebulon, the origin of all evil. Together they form a power metal force stronger than anything mankind and goblinkind have ever witnessed: ANGUS McSIX. With the sword Sixcalibur that receives a level-up each time an enemy is slain by its blade, the fate of the universe now lies in the hands of these mighty heroes.
ANGUS McSIX states: “Every stroke kills many trolls, some seven at one blow Stronger force than anything we know Mighty blade will never fail All hail!”
Thalia Bellazecca (ex-Frozen Crown) rejoices with scintillating guitar-riffs as her character Thalestris, befitting her status as a Queen: trained to be the best of the best. With a body engraved in stone, Manu Lotter shows his potency as Skaw! The primordial berserker already drudged the drums in Rhapsody of Fire and Emil Bulls, and now returns to unleash his limitless rage on the drums in ANGUS McSIX. Yet behold, for Orden Ogan mastermind Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann is Arch Demon Seebulon. With his powerful guitar, bass and production skills, he unleashes hell on Earth with no mercy. The future of the universe can now only be saved by the all-pervading vocals of Thomas Winkler (ex-Gloryhammer) as Prince Angus. Together they forge new legends never heard before and fight their way to the top of the genre. All hail the new mighty metal alliance ANGUS McSIX – may the sword of power guide them on their quest to save the universe!

SERAINA TELLI has released “I’m Not Sorry”, the new single from her solo debut “Simple Talk”, coming out on October 21st via Metalville Records.
“I’m Not Sorry” is another example for the phenomenal musically diversity of the former frontwoman of the Swiss heavy metal band “Burning Witches”. The charismatic artist leaves a lasting impression. Visually as well as musically. Her music is as colourful and varied as her hair colours, one of her typical distinguishing features. The multi-talent does not like to be confined to one style.
“I am what I am and that’s just right!” This message is very important to Seraina Telli. She wants to motivate other women in particular to believe in themselves, to be completely with themselves and, above all, to stay that way.
Seraina Telli combines everything that the modern rock world urgently needs: great songwriting, vocal power, musical versatility, artistic depth and a really strong attitude. Coupled with her authenticity, she is the ideal mix of power woman and promising young artist.
Colorful-loud-different-and above all-unique! With a style of music that “Straight in your Face Rock” couldn’t describe better. All of this and much more is: Seraina Telli
The album release party will be celebrated on 23.10 at the “Ambossrampe” in Zurich!

FROM ASHES TO NEW have dropped a new song and video called “Until We Break” via Better Noise Music. The new track centers around feelings of betrayal and uncertainty, telling the story of how sometimes the path of least resistance is often the wrong choice. Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire lent his vocals to the track, diving deep into the band’s signature emotional storytelling. This summer, the band toured with Memphis May Fire on the Remade in Misery tour and released an official music video for “Heartache,” a song that sonically depicts the triumphant tale behind the band’s name, earning over 1M views on YouTube in just three months. They will be headlining their “Until We Break” tour this fall, visiting cities in North Carolina, New York, Indiana, Pennsylvania and more – see below for a full list of dates. Purchase tickets HERE. Listen to “Until We Break” HERE. Watch the official music video HERE.
Reciting lyrics from the song, Matt Brandyberry said, “‘Close our eyes ‘cause there is nothing to see. We’ll all be fine if all we do is believe.’ It seems we are increasingly taking the path of least resistance. Although, that is often the wrong path. Closing our minds to the truth because a lie is easier to believe, a short-term solution for a long-term problem. We are following our leaders one by one until we break.”
The official music video is a studio performance of the high-energy track. Matty makes an appearance in the video directed by Eric DiCarlo.
Joining forces with From Ashes To New on the track, Matty from Memphis May Fire said, “I love this tune and I’m so stoked to be a part of it. We had such a killer time having From Ashes To New on tour with us and I can’t wait for people to finally hear this collab!”
The band is ending the year by performing in cities across North America this fall on their “Until We Break” tour. Dates include performances in Jacksonville, NC, Chattanooga, TN, Milwaukee, WI and others.
From Ashes To New has seen great success, earning four Top Ten Active Rock singles and over 345M streams across digital music platforms throughout their career. Last summer, the band released their Quarantine Chronicles EP series, which has been streamed over 20M times as the band explored the trials and tribulations of life and received critical acclaim from outlets such as Loudwire.
