Power Progressive metal band FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE have signed a multi-album deal with ROAR! Rock of Angels Records!

Formed in the mid 90’s, FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE deliver power prog metal, combining traditional heavy metal with technical and melodic power metal. Having released their debut self-titled mini-CD in 1996, FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE are among the first Greek bands that ever played progressive power metal. Since then, they have released three full albums ‘The Mortal Flesh of Love’ (2011), ‘Phoenix Rising’ (2014), ‘Atlantis’ (2020).

Having shared the stage with bands like Accept, Mayfair, Soul Cages and Wardrum and played several local gigs and festivals, FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE are currently on the process of booking as many gigs as possible both locally and abroad. The first confirmed dates are at the Winter Masters of Rock 2022 supporting Hammerfall, Guano Apes and Serious Black and XMas Metal Spirit Vol.1 festival in Athens, while new dates in Greece and European festivals are about to be announced.

Although only two years have passed after the highly acclaimed full album ‘Atlantis’, which was released by ROAR – Rock of Angels Records, FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE are ready to deliver their new effort.The recordings of of their new album took place at Devasoundz studios with Fotis Benardo undertaking the role of the producer. Fotis Benardo and George Nerantzis are responsible for mixing and mastering respectively.

Today the label proudly announces the signing of a multi-album deal with Fortress Under Siege and welcome the band to the ROAR! Rock of Angels roster.

17 CRASH Release New Single ‘Strike First’, New Album Out Now

Italian rockers 17 CRASH‘s fourth studio album “Stamina” is now available as of November 18th via Rockshots Records. For the album’s release day, the band is channeling the power of the Kobra Kai (Karate Kid) for their new music video for the full-length’s closing track “Strike First“.

The band continues to explain the song:

“We took the inspiration for this song from the Karate Kid/Kobra Kai – movie/pictures, series. Therefore, it’s necessary to be on guard, without, however, being defeatist or pessimistic. Be always prepared when things are going against you. Be brave and show no mercy to the ones with bad intentions towards you. Don’t let them smell your fear, let them smell the taste of your fist.”

17 Crash‘s new record “Stamina” is a much more complex and profound piece of work written entirely during the endless lockdowns from the 2020 pandemic that the world experienced. Their passion for the 80’s glam / hard n’ heavy rock n’ roll crossed with a particular duality between human struggle and the will to fight and resist against all the odds. It might seem that 17 Crash has come a long way, but rest assured they are just warming up for what’s to come.

Colliding their emotions, fears, and wishes, mixing up everything they got inside, and talking about their experiences and how they changed over these past testing years, 17 Crash explains their album in further detail.

“People should listen to this album very carefully, trying to catch the real spirit of it. Words have a very important message in this one, considering the times we are living in and what happened in 2020. The singles show what we are and what we want to say after these two terrible years. It’s like a concept about this crazy modern era and all the effects it brought to us. This record, it’s a box with all the emotions and the feeling we had during the composing process. Canadian rockers JADED TRUTH unleash a new video for their track “Lapse In Judgement” from their upcoming album – Take A Seat. The video recently premiered via The Ripple Effect and the feature can be found here.

Jaded Truth adds – This song conjures an atmosphere of loneliness & isolation in a dreamscape reminiscent of Pink Floyd & The Cure.

This is the third album in a trilogy of music which explores the darker sides of our reality… On Rx, we took a journey into insomnia & addiction.

The themes of the next album Tsukimono, were more spiritual & paranormal…

Jaded Truth was formed in 2019 in St John’s Newfoundland. It all began when Kyle Woodland & Aaron Jones were looking for a drummer after the demise of their previous band. They soon recrutied Michael Small behind the kit and began writing songs. Influenced by the 90’s bands of seattle such as Nirvana & Alice in chains, jaded truth has a heavy & dirty sound with influences of punk & metal.

2020 the band released their debut album Rx, which was a concept album about insomnia & addiction. They soon followed up in 2021 with Tsukimono which was mastered by legendary grunge producer Jack Endino.

Veteran heavy rock band MOS GENERATOR has revealed the second single, “Burn Away The Years,” from their forthcoming,10th studio album, “Time//Wounds,” that’s due out December 16th. Fans are invited to pre-order the album now at https://mosgenerator.bandcamp.com/album/time-wounds.

Commenting on the song, Tony Reed (guitar/vocals/keys) says: 

“‘Burn Away The Years’ is another song about time and how it gives and takes. Like many of the songs on the Time//Wounds album it’s hard to pinpoint the direct source of inspiration. The song was arranged and recorded in one day in between a series of shows we had and I have to say that the final outcome is much different than I would have expected from hearing the rundown demo. The synthesizers, horns and Mellotron strings mixed with the seamless series of tempo and mood changes makes the track feel like seventies prog – pop with some underground eighties sprinkled over the top.“

HN is one of the heaviest bands, straight from the streets of Hollywood CA. Since their first EP release, Scary AF in 2019 and several singles, the band has gained momentum and established a reputation for themselves in the music industry. The original story of “the Catalyst”, vital core character of the band’s concept, is being carried through these 10 brand new tracks. As a “concept band”, CATALYST tells an original story of a universe brought to life by 9 Lords, originally protecting its integrity, but now corrupted by the almighty Creator.
