DIETH – Feat. David Ellefson, Guilherme Miranda + Michał Łysejko – Sign Worldwide Contract with Napalm Records

Austrian rock and metal empire Napalm Records is thrilled to announce its exciting latest signing – death thrash force DIETH – featuring the iconic line-up of Grammy Award winning bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), Swedish Grammy nominated guitarist/vocalist Guilherme Miranda (former Entombed A.D.) and drummer Michał Łysejko (ex-Decapitated). 

DIETH have pushed beyond the stereotypes of their genres to create a charismatic new sound, one rich with inventive guitar riffs, tight drum grooves, technical prowess, guttural vocals and catchy melodies. Seeking new musical projects, the band members came together in early 2022 after being introduced by mutual friends in the music industry, and immediately began sharing creative ideas – shifting things into high gear this year with the release of their debut track, “In the Hall of the Hanging Serpents”, and a blistering accompanying music video.

Following its heavy acclaim and fan response, DIETH knew the only way to move was up, and now plan to drop their debut album in 2023 via new label partner Napalm Records. The album is currently in progress with producer Kristian Kohle at Kohlekeller Studio in Frankfurt, Germany, and will feature “In the Hall of the Hanging Serpents”.

DRABIK Unleash New Album “Mannequin”, Produced by Lacuna Coil’s Founder Maki

After several anticipations and some singles released in the past months, Italian metallers DRABIK are finally ready to announce that “Mannequin” is out now on all the streaming platforms and digital stores through Volcano Records & Promotion / Believe Digital.

“Mannequin” is a powerful and hitting-hard album that includes ten songs produced by Marco “Maki” Coti Zelati, founder and bass player of Lacuna Coil, and mastered by Alessandro Del Vecchio.

This new record in DRABIK’s discography intends to well represent the sound and the attitude of a band seeking for a modern way to approach alternative metal. Each track in “Mannequin” shows a full world of emotions and meanings that go deep into the darkness of the soul through epic musical moments and massive sounds.

NICKLAS SONNE Releases Debut Solo Album “Resonance” on November 11th

NICKLAS SONNE, best known as the lead singer, songwriter and producer for the progressive metal band DEFECTO, has announced his much-anticipated debut solo album “Resonance” which is set for release in November 2022 via Prime Collective. 

Seen as one of Denmark’s biggest musical talents in recent years, Nicklas takes listeners through big symphonic arrangements, equilibristic bombastic choruses, in a grand, yet traditional heavy metal style. 

“My past is still reverberating in my mind. Through depressions, low self-esteem, bullying and torn families, I’ve always felt like I was balancing on a thin line over a burning abyss. Always barely clinging on to the desire to exist. This whole album takes the listener through a variety of very moments and feelings I’ve never shared before” – mentions Nicklas.

Also known to perform with groups such as Malrun, Theory and Hank Sherman, now this talented multi-instrumentalist and producer expresses himself on his own terms. In his new album ‘Resonance’ we’ll see 10 tracks all written, arranged, produced, and recorded by himself. The project he dreamt of doing for many years, is finally ready!

Multinational ASTERISE Release Debut Album in December, Reveal First Single ‘Falling Stars’

Multinational symphonic power metallers ASTERISE are set to release their debut album “Two Worlds” on December 2nd 2022 via Finnish record label Inverse Records. 

The first single ‘Falling Stars’, which features Jimmy Hedlund (Falconer), Tristan Harders (Terra Atlantica), Arnaud Menard (Marius Danielsen’s Legend of Valley Doom) is released today and official video can be seen below.

The mastermind behind the band Bartlomiej Mezynski comments:
“Asterise is not a typical Power, Speed Metal project. I wanted it to sound different, to take the listener on an emotional trip. Of course it still has fast guitar riffs, high vocals and amazing shred guitar solos – everything thanks to great guest appearances. The idea to have multiple vocalists on the album was heavily inspired by Avantasia. The lyrics on the other hand, by old Stratovarius albums. You will hear a lot of references to albums like Visions, Destiny or The Metal Opera 1&2. With everyone presenting different styles of singing and playing, we were able to create an interesting material that will be stuck in your mind for a long time.”

Asterise is multinational Power Metal “opera” project. The project started in 2018 when Bartlomiej Mezynski and Dionysis Maniatakos joined forces to create something fresh and new, however which will also refer to the classic bands like Stratovarius, Gamma Ray or Avantasia. The lyrics are about a person being trapped between two worlds. Souls being locked between good and bad sides. It tells a little story about different states of minds. Former Frozen Crown + Skeletoon Members Launch New Project NEKOMATA

NEKOMATA is a new Italian modern metal band born from the ashes of the band PROJECT KASHA. Founded in 2022 by Filippo Zavattari (ex FROZEN CROWN) on bass and backing vocals and Andrea Cappellari (ex SKELETOON) on guitars and programming, the band has recently been joined by Andrea Olivieri on vocals and Nicolò Buganza on drums.

The vast experience and diverse musical background of the musicians involved and their desire to create something new, detached from trends and labels, has led to the composition of an album that will be released in the near future. Combining a powerful and modern sound with melodic singing, NEKOMATA have been labelling this sound “power-core”.
