A riveting blues-rock tune from Joanne Shaw Taylor’s forthcoming album “Nobody’s Fool” comes with the title track single, “Nobody’s Fool”. It’s evident that Joanne has a keen sense of storytelling through her lyrics as she reveals the experience of her years as a sweetheart of the British blues genre.

The album “Nobody’s Fool” will release digitally worldwide on Joe Bonamassa’s KTBA Records on Friday, October 28th. TheCD edition of the album will be released in the UK on November 11th, followed by the release of the vinyl edition released worldwide on December 16th. Joanne as born and raised in the UK and was discovered at the age of 16 by music icon Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics. Right from the get-go, Joanne’s incredible guitar playing, and distinctive sultry vocals set her apart from the rest of the crowd.

“Nobody’s Fool” is her most personal album to date. Joanne’s writing lays bare love, loss, and the desire to be free of the past through the vessel of catchy hooks and infectious guitar riffs.

Her vocal style, writing prowess and guitar skills take the listener on a journey into the wasteland of love and back into the light of hope and redemption. “Nobody’s Fool” takes Joanne into new territory that can be described as retro pop with a modern flare, yet still encompasses the emotion of her blues roots.

Joanne wrote all the songs on the album except “Missionary Man,” which is written by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics.

“Until We Rest Beneath the Winter Way“ frames vignettes into the life and times of Laika. Each track on ‘UWRBTWW’ represents a slice in history, as she endured it. The album culminates with the launch of Sputnik II, the second major event in humanity’s reach to the heavens, symbolized by a lifeless canine body orbiting the Earth for months on end — a somber meditation on humanity’s innumerable self-inflicted tragedies, as if stuck in orbit, forever.

CULTØ Premiere ‘The Ashes Of Annihilation’ Single, Debut Album “Of the Sun” Out October 27th

Italian melodic death metallers CULTØ have signed to Time To Kill Records for the release of their debut album “Of the Sun”. The album is out October 27th on CD, LP, and digital formats.

Today the band shares the second single from the record with “The Ashes of Annihilation”. Stream it HERE.

CULTØ was born from an idea of ​ mastermind Dave, who, in a very short time span, managed to put together a line-up made up of well-known musicians from the Lombardy underground scene (Ghostheart Nebula, Vide, Perfidious, etc.) and record an album of nine songs.

The style of “Of The Sun” comes straight from the Gothenburg sound of the 90s (In Flames, Dark Tranquility, etc.) opening on to more aggressive musical tones. The album is not only a personal interpretation of this music style, but revolves around a message on the awakening of generative consciousness and on the power of artistic expression.

The concept of the lyrics is focused on the awareness of the artist and his creative abilities, through the metaphor of a star that, following a flare, becomes a creator and destroyer god in search of himself and his kind.

CULTØ combine a number of genres and influences, ranging from In Flames to Bloodbath and Septicflesh, filtered through a prism of metallic extremity. The result is fierce melodic death metal, mixing the best of old and new school into their own sound.

LASTBREATH is an hardcore band based in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. Formed in 2017 from members of local bands Gold Kids, Stigmalized and Riflesso, the band released their first DIY EP “Thousand Traitors” in June 2019. In October 2020 they returned to the studio to record a split EP with Earthfall – “Values Never Die” – released via UK label Mark My Words Records. After the Covid-19 pandemic, LASTBREATH are now ready to release their first full-length “Vendetta”.
