South African Super Rock Group FEAR OF FALLING has been on a roll the past 18 months, with no sign of easing their foot off the gas! Their highly anticipated 5th single called ‘All My Time’ is available today on all platforms.

Stream HERE.

‘All My Time’ is the first single with new vocalist Ross Harding, who joins the lineup with drummer Dale Schnettler, guitarist Lloyd Timke and bassist Brendon McCaig. With this lineup Fear Of Falling begins to fulfil the full potential of this supergroup.

‘All My Time’ is a song that reflects on the short duration we have available to live our lives to the fullest for a meaningful existence, within a world that is in a perpetual state of chaos.

Ross Harding (Vocals) shares that “The writing and recording process for ‘All My Time’ was really interesting to me. The musical arrangement had been fleshed out already, more or less, so it was about sitting down in studio and piecing together lyrics, first of all, and vocal melodies. Inspiration for lyrics is often a subconscious process for me, while words hit the page without any real consideration for their deeper meaning. It’s the retrospective look at the songs that show me their meanings, at least, how they unveil themselves to me, or how I interpret that meaning. The overarching theme of ‘All My Time’ is about making the most of the short time we have in life, within a world in perpetual chaos. While life comes with extreme challenges, to be alive is a gift.”

Vocally the track delivers a powerful, yet restrained arrangement, reminiscent of a theatre-like production with highs and lows that take you on a journey of deliverance … and almost stadium-like anthem, living and breathing its way through the almost 4 minutes, through the creative talents of the musicians involved. It’s lifelike in the way that it takes breaths and pauses, before driving forward and delivering a massive chorus – all understated by the melodic basslines that create magic.

The band can be seen maturing through its development, and Ross Harding could not have delivered a better performance on his first single with the band! Fear Of Falling has skilfully learnt and developed their sound, showing why they are on top of their game and the Rock Scene in Africa!

Line-up

Fear Of Falling released their debut EP ‘Breaking Point’ in May 2021, and soon followed with their debut album ‘Turning Point’ in December 2021. They achieved charting positions on the Independent UK Music Charts, Banks Radio Australia, Banger Music, and the MIX FM SA Top 40.

Danish STEEL INFERNO Release New Album “Evil Reign” on October 21st

Denmark has a thing or two to say about traditional heavy metal and hard rock. As the nation that gave birth to bands such as Mercyful Fate, Artillery and Pretty Maids, the steel seems to be strong in the country’s soil. STEEL INFERNO is one of the latest offerings in this line of succession. The raging speed metal-machinery from Copenhagen has been, in the last decade, among the local frontrunners in the new resurging wave of traditional heavy metal.

And now the band’s third full length album “Evil Reign”, is ready to be unleashed. It features a handful of ferocious metal assaults that leaves no listener spared. The collective appeals in an irresistible manner to fans of classic metal in the vein of Agent Steel, early Slayer, and Overkill and to everyone who is into speed and intensity mixed with a sense of malicious melody. With a timeless production made in Angioni Studios by Marco Angioni (Tygers Of Pan Tang, Iron Fire, Meridian), “Evil Reign” is the heavy/speed metal battlecry of 2022.

“Evil Reign” will be released on digital, CD, and LP (black vinyl, limited to 300 units) via From The Vaults on October 21st, 2022. Pre-orders available here and here.

“Evil Reign” tracklist:

1. No Escape
2. Breakout
3. Siren Of The Air
4. Queen
5. Jaws Of Evil
6. First Strike
7. Dark Tower
8. Caught By Her Web
9. Succubus
10. More Than Meets The Eye
11. Claws Of Death

Steel Inferno was formed in 2012 and has since its formation released two full length albums: “Aesthetics of Decay” in 2016 and “…And the Earth Stood Still” in 2020.

In 2020 the band joined forces with a new singer – Chris Rostoff – and while the world was shut down the band started to write new songs. The band then signed with From The Vaults in 2021 and entered Angioni Studios in early 2022. The result is the album “Evil Reign” which takes the band in a slightly different direction. If the Steel Inferno’s early material was akin to European metal like early Accept and Judas Priest, the newer material is closer to some of the earliest US power metal bands such as Helstar and Jag Panzer – all mixed with a fundamental inspiration from early thrash and speed metal.

Lineup:
Chris Rostoff – vocals
Jens Andersen – guitars
Thierry Zubritovsky – bass
Lars Lyndorff – guitars
Krzysztof Baran – drums

The first-ever, career-spanning documentary on the life and times of legendary metal icon Ronnie James Dio comes to cinemas worldwide for two days only on Wed., Sept. 28 and Sun., Oct. 2. Executive produced by Dio’s widow and longtime manager, Wendy Dio, and fully authorized by the artist’s estate, “DIO: Dreamers Never Die” delves deep into the singer’s incredible rise from a ‘50s doo-wop crooner to his early rock days in Elf and Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, to replacing Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath, and finally cementing his rock star status with his own band, DIO. The film incorporates never-before-seen footage and personal photos, as well as offering intimate scenes with his closest peers, family, and friends, among them Wendy Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Glenn Hughes, Vinny Appice, Lita Ford, Rob Halford, Sebastian Bach, Eddie Trunk, and Jack Black, as they bring viewers inside the life of one of rock and roll’s true heroes and one of the most beloved figures in rock.

In addition to the feature-length film, this special cinema event will also include a hand-picked selection of outtakes from the cutting room floor, creating an experience that is exclusive only to fans in attendance.

Presented in cinemas worldwide by Trafalgar Releasing and BMG, tickets for “DIO: Dreamers Never Die” go on sale on Wed., Aug. 24 at 10:00 a.m. EDT at www.diodreamersneverdie.com

“We are excited to be partnering with BMG and Wendy Dio to present ‘DIO: Dreamers Never Die’ in cinemas worldwide,” said Kymberli Frueh, SVP for Programming and Content Acquisitions for Trafalgar Releasing. “Ronnie James Dio has and continues to influence the heavy metal movement. This cinema event will take fans on a big screen journey into the creative and personal life of this notable frontman.”

Ronnie James Dio, who died of gastric cancer in 2010, reigns as one of the most influential rock artists of all time and one of the greatest vocalists ever. With an illustrious recording career spanning from the 1950’s through to the 2000’s, the documentary follows his trajectory from sideman into singer, songwriter and frontman of not one, but three, of rock’s internationally-renowned, multi-Platinum-selling arena attractions: Rainbow, Black Sabbath and DIO. Famous for popularizing the ‘devil horns’ hand gesture that is now synonymous with hard rock and heavy metal music, Dio was known for not wavering in his pursuit of his rock and roll dreams and continues to influence a new generation of music artists.  His fans the world over remember him not only for his massive talent, but for his kindness, resulting in millions of dollars raised for cancer research in his memory.

“DIO: Dreamers Never Die” was financed solely by BMG and was directed by Don Argott and Demian Fenton (Framing John DeLorean, Believer, Last Days Here), produced by Don Argott and Sheena Joyce for 9.14 Pictures, and executive produced by Wendy Dio for Niji Productions and Kathy Rivkin Daum for BMG.

Argott and Fenton said, “People who have conviction, talent and heart like Ronnie James Dio are in short supply these days. It is refreshing to share his inspiring story of believing in yourself and chasing your dreams. As life-long DIO fans, it is incredibly humbling to bring Ronnie’s journey to the screen and we can’t wait to share it with audiences.”

Rhino/WMG will release the soundtrack from “DIO: Dreamers Never Die” in the fall.

2008 founded Finnish technical death metal band RASTER DENSITY has played brutal technical death metal for almost 15 years. The track represents the melodic and more traditional death metal side of the album. But it also include maybe the most chaotic riff that the composer Luukas Savolainen has ever made.

TONIC BREED Releases Music Video ‘No Rocks on the Scotch’, New EP Out Now, Ft. Guests from Megadeth, Soilwork, Kamelot + More

Norway’s TONIC BREED having burning up mosh pits this summer since unleashing their latest EP “Fuel The Fire” this past July. The EP includes guest appearances from Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth), Bernt Jansen (Artch/Wig Wam), Björn Strid (Soilwork), Martin Skriubakken (Endezzma) and Oliver Palotai (Kamelot).

Today, in support of the EP, Tonic Breed is pouring one for the fans to drink up with the partially animated music video for “No Rocks on the Scotch” featuring guest vocals by Björn Strid (Soilwork) and drums by Martin Skriubakken (Endezzma).

“Björn Strid pushes the limits on the chorus to places I never will be able to vocally. This song has some serious groove elements. This song has the sound I always wanted and is the reason why I chose Viktor Gullichsen to do the mix and engineering on Fuel the Fire as well.” adds Tonic Breed‘s Patrik K. Svendsen.

Tonic Breed was established in 2006 as a full on thrash quartet that abruptly disbanded in 2019. With much thought by founding member Patrik K. Svendsen, he decided to take the reins to reinvent the band and keep its candle burning for its next release as part of its new chapter. The outcome is now a one thrash army led by Svendsen with support from metal friends to give metalheads raw, energetic hard-hitting thrash, with melodic and groovy elements.

The four-track EP was recorded over 18 months with multiple sound engineers from different countries, along with various guest musicians.

“I believe the EP will not disappoint the Tonic Breed fanbase. The starter songs are right up there in the alley they would expect. However, some new elements here and there might cause disagreements. But, after listening to the release, I believe one impression that fans will have is that there is a significant difference between the songs. For some, maybe too much. Personally, I like those kind of dynamics.” says Svendsen.

Tonic Breed‘s new EP “Fuel the Fire” is available on all digital platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
