JARI BEHM Unleashes ‘Coming Back To The Point’ Music Video, Reveals More Details for Upcoming Album “Mind Adventures”

JARI BEHM is a Finnish musician who is known especially among friends of heavier music. He was the bassist for Stratovarius in early 90’s. Later on for Finnish bands like Tunnelvision and STUD.

Mind adventures album is Jari’s type of music which represents a really broad selection of music. “I promise that I will not repeat myself on the album as the music genre of my music varies from metal, funk, classical, hard rock to blues, but still heavier music shows the biggest role”, says Jari.

Jari managed to gather vocalists who fits perfectly to the dedicated tracks. Brazilian Gus Monsanto (e.g. ex-Adagio, ex-Revolution Renaissance), Finnish Peter James Goodman (e.g. Conquest), Turkish Berzan Önen and Italian Alessandro Granato. Toni Paananen (e.g. Malpractice) played drums on 5 tracks. All tracks and lyrics are written by Jari. Also he played basses, guitars and synths.

He was two decades away from music business until he started to put more effort on music again a few years ago. It was finally time to release his own music as he has been composing songs since the middle of 80’s when he started his music career. There are many unreleased tracks in his drawer waiting to be released.

“Break from music gave me perspective how I would like to produce the music and I felt it is the time to finally release my own music without any musical limitations. Distinctiveness of instruments and sound quality without too much of compression are very important part of the whole picture and I put special attention into this”, says Jari who has mixed, produced and mastered the music by himself.

“Coming back to the point”. The most aggressive track on the album. It is about the situation today in Ukraine and human behavior generally which may drive us towards destruction.

Also check out the earlier released “Fight for a victory” Bass guitars have a big role on this track. Meant to be an empowering one. We all have obstacles in our lives which we need to win.

VLAD IN TEARS present the official video for “Running Up That Hill”. The song is the second single from the upcoming studio album of “Porpora”, which will ne released on 19th September on Metalville Records.

With their gothic rock version of the Kate Bush classic, VLAD IN TEARS present probably the most exciting cover song of the year so far.

Due to the use of the song in the Netflix series “Stranger Things”, “Running Up That Hill” unexpectedly reached the top of the charts 37 years after its original release.

VLAD IN TEARS was virtually reborn after decades when the three brothers Kris (vocals & piano), Lex (guitar) and Dario (bass) decided to move from old and sunny Italy to Germany in 2013. The brothers immediately showed their great musical skills and their ability to be fantastic live performers. This rapid development led to a steadily growing fan base to this day.

Tireless and insatiable, VLAD IN TEARS are always looking for new sounds and arrangements to perfectly blend their melodies with very dark sounds, ranging from 80’s wave to the hardest and most modern rock sound. The strongest part of the band is the voice of singer Kris, which seems to know no limits.

HEXED Release New Video for Single ‘Stigma Diaboli’

With the bombastic sound, Swedish metallers HEXED now releases another outstanding track with beautiful vocals, great melodies and grand symphonic arrangements. HEXED third video/single “STIGMA DIABOLI” are taken from their up-coming album “Pagans Rising”, and will take you right into the hunt and escape of the witch trial hysteria.

Pagans Rising will be released via ViciSolum Productions on September 30!

HEXED is a Swedish symphonic and progressive metal band fronted by the amazing lead vocalist Tina Gunnarsson.
It contains thick driving rhythms, melodic orchestrations with dark layers, powerful female vocals and male growl. The band was formed late 2015 by vocalist Tina and guitarist Stellan Gunnarsson, they already had a history in the metal scene and were experienced songwriters.

Since both of them had the source of inspiration from bands such as Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory and Kamelot, their aim was to create music and to focus on strong vocals combined with melodic guitars and progressive elements. Drummer Teddy Möller and Bass player Daniel Håkansson were early chosen to take place and Hexed released the debut single “Dreams” in 2016.
In 2017 the first EP  ”Exhaling Life” came out, which ended up signing a worldwide deal with ViciSolum Productions.

The debut album “Netherworld” was released in 2018 and received great response from both press, media and fans.
It has resulted in tours and gigs at several clubs and festivals all around Europe and the band have shared stages with many bands such as Leprous, Omnium Gatherum and Harakiri for the Sky among others. Hexed have gained a strong reputation for being a fantastic live act and for always delivering a great live performance. After a couple of changes in the lineup Hexed recruited a second guitarist David Nyman and the drummer Patrick Wahlberg. During the years, the music has grown into a unique sound for Hexed.
“The world will soon be divided in two parts, those who already are Hexed and those who are about to be”.

KLOGR‘s Frontman RUSTY WOUNDS Announces Solo Project

Posted by tarjavirmakari on September 6, 2022
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: KLOGR, Rusty Wounds. Leave a comment

After 10 years of total dedication to KLOGR, Rusty felt the need to explore other musical paths and throw himself into something that could not be achieved with the band. Thus was born the idea of the “solo” project, Rusty Wounds. A musical project with which, as a first step, he arranged and produced a bunch of covers and focused on the production of an album.

While KLOGR has focused on social and environmental impacts, Rusty Wounds explores more intimate themes with an expanded versatile sound. Marking a new chapter on Rusty’s path, the musical concept can be performed stripped down with only vocals and an acoustic guitar, but with the same impact, the arrangements that can be performed along with an entire band.

The first single, which will be released in October via Superbia Music, is a cover by Nirvana, a band as much discussed as it is revolutionary, which marked an era and a decisive change in the music market. “I’ve always been fascinated by Kurt’s sensitivity, his hypnotic gaze, and his visionary way of writing lyrics” Rusty says.

Arranged and produced with the collaboration of Federico Ascari, the version of “Come As You Are” is a journey that touches the industrial, disturbing, and how chaos inside Kurt’s soul. A reinterpretation that anticipates the sound of a project that embraces alternatives, electronics, and rock… But always maintains an acoustic sound.
