Minneapolis hard rock quintet, SLEEP SIGNALS have announced that they will be hitting the road this fall on ‘The Return Of ‘ tour. This is the first tour for the band since their devastating bus wreck that happened a year ago leaving some of the band members will debilitating injuries. The tour will kick off on September 29, 2022 in Redmond, OR at General Duffy’s Waterhole.

“I’d be lying if I said we’re excited to be in a bus again after severity of the wreck and our injuries a year ago, but I know the second we step back on stage and feel the love and energy of the crowd, it will be worth it. The most amazing part of tour has been and always will be meeting our fans and sharing that short moment together on stage and it’s something we’ve all been looking forward to as we heal and deal with all obstacles the wreck presented us with. We cannot wait to see all of you very soon,” says the band’s frontman Robert Cosgrove.

Sleep Signals – The Return Of Tour:
9.29.22 Redmond, OR
9.30.22 Kennewick, WA
10.2.22 Salt Lake City, UT
10.6.22 Grants Pass, OR
10.7.22 Vancouver, WA
10.8.22 Takoma, WA
10.9.22 Okanogan, WA

Recently, the band released their haunting new video for single “The Return.” The single is from their EP, Ethereal.

Stream/Download “The Return” here: https://music.sleepsignals.net/thereturn

Sleep Signals have garnered a dedicated following through relentless touring, their explosive live performances, and their ability to blend catchy hooks with their high-energy songwriting style.

In 2021 the band released a new EP, Ethereal, featuring the single, “Fireproof,” which garnered the band’s first commercial radio success. The single was featured on Sirius XM’s Octane and received spins on 80+ US FM radio stations, spending 11 weeks on the Billboard Active Rock radio chart.

Unfortunately, 2021 also saw the band experience a severe bus accident on tour with POD, From Ashes To New, and All Good Things that left several members in the hospital and rehabbing injuries for months. The band released the music video for “The Return” to commemorate their comeback from the accident and look to get back to the touring circuit as soon as late 2022.

Founded in 2014, the band hit the road in early 2015 and has since played over 500 shows in 45 states. Prior to the accident, the band was coming off of major full US tours with heavy hitters Hellyeah and Nonpoint, as well as Atreyu, Memphis May Fire, Ice Nine Kills, All That Remains, Attila, Escape the Fate, and Like A Storm.

“Sleep Signals embodies the same DIY hustling ethic that Ice Nine Kills has used since the beginning. Great songs, and a work ethic that is quickly making this band stand out” says Spencer Charnas of (Ice Nine Kills).

Alex Varkatzas (Ex-Atreyu) adds, “Seeing Sleep Signals’ tireless work ethic and energetic live shows nightly, it’s only a matter of time before this band is a household name.”

Stoner Punks BOKASSA to Embark on European Tour in September

Hailing from Trondheim, Norway, hard rock trio BOKASSA have made a name for themselves with their brand of hard-hitting, melodic, catchy punk and metal fused stoner riffs, straight from their first full length, Divide & Conquer (2017). During the Worldwired tour with METALLICA, the band released the critically acclaimed Crimson Riders (2019). On top of this, the Norwegians were nominated for the prestigious Spellemann-Award for Breakthrough of the Year in 2020.

Now, following the release of their latest album, Molotov Rocktail, BOKASSA will finally embark on an European tour together with Greek heavy rockers Planet of Zeus to present their untameable power live on stage!

BOKASSA  on their upcoming tour:
“We are beyond excited to finally be able to go out on this European tour with Planet Of Zeus and play live again. While we’ve been playing Xbox, binging Netflix and listening to every podcast in existence, we have also been starved for live music. Now we are back on the road – we´ve waited a long time for this and are so ready to finally bring Molotov Rocktail to the people. Expect two overly hyped bands that are stoked as hell to be playing live music again.”

02.09.22 FI – Helsinki / On The Rocks
03.09.22 FI – Jyvaskyla / Lutakko
05.09.22 SE – Stockholm / Hus 7
06.09.22 SE – Gothenburg / Valand
07.09.22 DK – Copenhagen / Pumpehuset
08.09.22 DE – Hamburg / HeadCrash
09.09.22 DE – Leipzig / Naumann’s
10.09.22 PL – Wroclaw / Akademia
12.09.22 DE – Berlin / Badehaus
14.09.22 DE – Munich / Hansa 39
15.09.22 DE – Nuremberg / Der Cult
17.09.22 NL – Enschede / Metropool,
20.09.22 DE – Cologne / Club Volta

On Molotov Rocktail, vocalist and guitarist Jørn Kaarstad’s unmistakably raspy voice and crushing guitar riffs hit satisfyingly hard with the snappy drumming and fat bass tone of drummer Olav Dowkes and bassist Bård Linga. Songs like “Hereticules” effortlessly pull off the transition between melodic choruses and punishing breakdowns, while the title track “Molotov Rocktail” is two minutes of pure stoner punk paradise with its dense songwriting and dynamic production. The album closer’s intro riff (“Immortal Space Pirate 3 Too Old For This Sith”), meanwhile, could be lifted straight off a classic BEHEMOTH album. BOKASSA’s daring but cohesive tightrope act of singalongs and neck breaking grooves is highly contagious – mixed and mastered by Machine (CLUTCH, THE BRONX, EVERY TIME I DIE), the powerhouse from Trondheim misses no chance to entrance the listener with every second of runtime!

Rockin’1000 – The Biggest Rock Band on Earth

In 2015, a marine geologist passionate about rock who had never organized an event before got help from his friends, who were insiders in the world of entertainment, to achieve the impossible. Fabio Zaffagnini’s goal: to gather 1000 musicians in a meadow to play “Learn to Fly” by the Foo Fighters in unison to convince the famous American group to perform in his city, Cesena. The video of the performance immediately went viral (today it has over 60 million views) and the Foo Fighters responded, accepting the invitation and adding a date to their tour. From this unexpected success, a format was born: Rockin’1000, the Biggest Rock Band on Earth. The band has performed many concerts in stadiums and special locations, created an album produced with Sony Music Italy and the outbound film We are The Thousand – directed by Anita Rivaroli, which tells the story of the band’s genesis and is currently nominated in some of the most important international film festivals. From an original idea by Fabio Zaffagnini, created with founders Claudia Spadoni, Martina Pieri, Mariagrazia Canu and “Cisko” Ridolfi, today Rockin’1000 is an award-winning company that carries out international projects and is invited to collaborate with partners around the world.

INGESTED Share ‘Shadows In Time’ Video from Upcoming Album “Ashes Lie Still”

Modern UK death metallers INGESTED will release their new album “Ashes Lie Still” on November 4 via Metal Blade. Pre-order it here: metalblade.com/ingested

Today, the band has shared the video for “Shadows in Time.” Watch it below.

“This is our monstrous second single from our brand new album and debut on Metal Blade Records,” the band enthuses. “We’re excited for everyone to hear this bone-breaking beast and watch the brand-new music video directed by Loki Films! This banger has got everything fans of Ingested love, plus a few little surprises to boot! So kick back and let us make your ear holes bleed.”

Ingested offered a deeper insight into Ashes Lie Still as a whole, as well.

“This is our most personal offering yet – 10 tracks of dark, brutal, and atmospheric extreme metal, written during some of the most difficult periods of our life and career as a band,” Ingested explain. “We’ve sweat every ounce of passion into this record, and we can’t wait for you to hear it in its entirety.“

Ingested are the flagbearers of modern UK death metal. They have been churning out bilious anti-anthems for more than a decade-and-a-half, dropping a string of releases that have helped shape the genre. They return with Ashes Lie Still, their most dynamic, inventive, and daring release to date, holding nothing back. The band describes it as “a modern essential. It still has the core Ingested elements of groovy slamming riffs, quick drumming, and guttural vocals but there’s also atmosphere, ethereal moments, and some raw old school aggression.”

Over the course of 10 tracks, Ingested hack, slash, and steamroll through everything in their path, and Ashes Lie Still easily stands as the highpoint of an already impressive career.

Founded in 2006 in Manchester, England, Ingested have since toured extensively with Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Nile, Carnifex, and Revocation, and have been seen on European festival stages including Summer Breeze Open Air. Slimmed down to a three-piece, the band feels it is in the best place it ever has been, enabling the members to work at the top of their game.

Ashes Lie Still was co-produced by the band and previous collaborator Nico Beninato, with drummer Lyn Jeffs living close to Beninato’s studio in Mallorca and recording his drums there, while Sean Hynes recorded his guitars at home in the UK with the producer assisting remotely. Vocal tracking was interrupted by Jason Evans falling seriously ill when finally making it to Mallorca and was ultimately tracked back in Manchester. Bass was again supplied by Dominic Grimard (Ion Dissonance/The Last Felony).

Ingested succinctly encapsulate their existence, saying, “We’ve always been the underdogs, always fighting for scraps. Well it’s time to get out of the fucking way, because now it’s our turn to eat at the table.”

You’ve. Been. Warned.
