UK’s FELLOWSHIP have released a video for ‘Oak and Ash’ – third single taken from the debut album ‘The Saberlight Chronicles’, set to be released on July 15^th, via Scarlet Records.

“‘Oak and Ash’ is one of the heavier and shreddier tracks on the album, and one that’s very personal to us. It’s about vulnerability, and how keeping yourself protected also protects you from help. We filmed the video in two sessions because Sam had covid for the first one but had a lot of fun anyway! We hope that this video shows our characters as people as much as our music.”

VIRTUAL SYMMETRY Release ‘Come Alive’ Official Video And Single

Swiss-Italian cinematic/progressive metal outfit VIRTUAL SYMMETRY has just issued an official video and audio single for “Come Alive,” the lead track to be issued ahead of their eponymous fourth album, confirmed for early September release through Sensory Records.

Featuring eight sprawling and immersive songs, Virtual Symmetry was recorded by the band then mixed and mastered at Domination Studio by Simone Mularoni (DGM, Michael Romeo, Turilli Lione Rhapsody) and completed with artwork and photography by Kyrhian Balmelli.

Vocalist Marco Pastorino reveals, “With our new album, we managed to combine our best qualities and selected the best VIRTUAL SYMMETRYsongs so far. The classical prog metal trademarks with some very cool addictions, a couple of choruses sung in our native language, Italian, a very long suite as the opening track of the album, and even more. We really can’t wait to meet all of you during the upcoming European tour with the metal masters Evergrey!”

The official video for the lead Virtual Symmetry single “Come Alive” was directed by Giampiero Zappa.

VIRTUAL SYMMETRY was founded in 2009 as a solo project of guitarist Valerio Æsir Villa, when the first ideas for the debut album, Message From Eternity, began taking shape. The band’s lineup has since expanded to now include vocalist Marco Pastorino, keyboardist Marco “Mark” Bravi, bassist Alessandro Poppale, and drummer Alfonso Mocerino. Featuring members of Temperance and Fallen Sanctuary, the band is a revelation in the progressive metal universe, stunning their fans and listeners with influences which range from classical music to contemporary metal and a style characterized by epic suites, rich of cinematic elements and balance between melody and technique, leading the listeners through a dynamic and emotional journey in each track.

Today, 1 July, the album “Reach For The Scars” is released by PATRIARCHS IN BLACK, the band around ex-Hades/Non Fiction guitarist Dan Lorenzo and Danzig/Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly.

Nine grooving tracks, with dragging riffs and a snotty-rock charm that would also make the album a perfect soundtrack for a remake of “Easy Rider”. The songs, on which Karl Agell (COC), Dewey Bragg (Kill Devil Hill), Rob Traynor (Black Water Rising), John Kosco (Dropbox), Eric J. Morgan (A Pale Horse Named Death) and Dave Neabore (Dog Eat Dog), among others, do the honors as guest musicians, are now available on CD in stores and on all digital streaming platforms.
