AMERICAN TERROR Announce New Album “Where We Are”, Release New Song

AMERICAN TERROR, the heavy punk/metal band based out of Atlanta, has revealed a new single, “End Of America,” out now. The track, a wildly fierce takedown of the current state of American politics, is available on Spotify and all major digital platforms, with its accompanying video out now on YouTube. The video recently premiered at KNAC.COM and the feature can be found here. Their sophomore album, “Where We Are”, will be released on July 8th, 2022, with more singles arriving beforehand.

“’End Of America’ represents the state of our country right now,” says vocalist Brad Cox. “No matter what side you’re on or what you believe, everyone’s pissed off and feeling this way. History is being rewritten in so many ways. People are passionate again and willing to fight for what they believe. ‘End Of America’ is the anthem for standing up to bullshit and making a change.”

AMERICAN TERROR’s critically-acclaimed debut record, Influencer, arrived in May 2020 and led to the band quickly tallying up 350,000+ streams. The album, which was released by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson’s EMP Label Group, arrived on the heels of the success of the singles “Judgement” and “She’s A Bitch”. These two tracks quickly built momentum for the band, thanks to features on Spotify’s editorial and algorithmic playlists, in addition to spots on hundreds of user playlists. Prominent rock media outlets took notice and covered the band’s progress, including iHeartRadio, Revolver Magazine, KNAC, Blabbermouth, BraveWords, and Ultimate-Guitar. Influencer was followed up by a hard-hitting, genre-bending remix of “Judgement” featuring legendary rapper Sticky Fingaz (known for his group Onyx’s hit “Slam” & his feature on Eminem‘s The Marshall Mathers LP; also, a 2020 ASCAP songwriter award-winner for his work with Travis Scott). The one-off single “Legend”, a cover of a lost track from classic hip-hop group House of Pain, followed in February 2021. The band then teamed up with world-renowned rapper Krizz Kaliko (a frequent fixture of Tech N9ne’s records and his Strange Music label over the past two decades) to release a remix of their single “She’s A Bitch”. This release was followed by the aggressive, snotty, and uptempo “Attitude”, the first single from their upcoming sophomore album.

AMERICAN TERROR’s releases are engineered, produced, and mixed by vocalist Brad Cox at his Black Paw Studios in Lawrenceville, GA. Brad recently co-wrote, produced, and mixed the Billboard chart hit “Like ‘Em Wild” for rap/country duo Moonshine Bandits and is partners in the publishing company Black Paw Music with legendary producer Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses, Megadeth, Metallica). The band began as a studio project featuring members of Skid Row (drummer Rob Hammersmith), Sugar Ray (ex-bassist Murphy Karges), Phunk Junkeez (DJ Soulman), and Grayson Manor (singer Brad Cox and guitarist Pat Valley). However, upon receiving highly-enthusiastic feedback from new fans and press outlets, they decided to continue their path forward with touring and multiple releases in mind, leaving Brad, Pat, Rob and fellow Grayson Manor alumnus GK Via to take over those duties.

“The past couple of years have been so crazy and my heart goes out to everyone affected by them,” Cox says. “Everyone felt this in so many different ways. For my mental health, I decided it was time to focus on writing and recording a new album. ‘End Of America’ was the first song to come out of this. After that, the rest of the upcoming album basically wrote itself.“

Emmy Award-winning singer-songwriter LITTLE BIHLMAN presents the official video for “Tooth And Nail”.

The song is the seconds single from the upcoming studio album “The Legend Of Hipster Billings” (Metalville Records – release 17.06.).

“The Legend Of Hipster Billings”, is an Americana influenced rock album. GUINEAPIG Release Music Video for ‘City Of The Monkey God’

Goregrind unit GUINEAPIG are gearing up for the release of the band’s highly anticipated new album, which will be coming out on June 10th via Spikerot Records.

Eight long years after the debut “Bacteria”, the Italian trio delivers with “Parasite” an album that will redefine the very concept of Goregrind. The material is absolutely cutting-edge and forward-thinking without ever losing sight of the roots, the production is crisp and blistering, the songwriting fluctuates between abysmal tunings, Death Metal mid-tempos and ripping breakdowns.

After the release of the first two singles “Mermaid In A Manhole” and “Taxidermia”, the band follows up with a brand new music video for the track “City Of The Monkey God”.

Guitarist and vocalist Fra comments: 
“CITY OF THE MONKEY GOD takes its name from a 16th century legend about a curse spreading disease in a lost city in Honduras. The mystery was solved only 500 years later, when a group of explorers got their faces disfigured due to a flesh-eating parasite.In opposite to the lyric, which explains what happened to the poor explorers, the video focuses more on the old legend, envisioning the whole story from God’s point of view. We, guineapig, have always wanted to be off the grid, breaking down  schemes and clichés, both musically and aesthetically: CITY OF THE MONKEY GOD is a symbolic video about an ancient divinity, more precisely a Goddess in our interpretation, who’s conscious of her power but at the same time affected by it. What she created, her land, is what is soiling her state of purity.“

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Marco Mastrobuono at Kick Recording Studio – Rome (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hour Of Penance, Shores Of Null) in September/October 2021. Stunning artwork by Fabio Timpanaro.

EDENBRIDGE Premiere New Song & Video ‘The Road To Shangri-La’ from Upcoming Album

August 26, 2022, will see Austrian symphonic metal force, EDENBRIDGE, release their eleventh studio album, Shangri-La, on AFM Records. 

With its nine epic, new tracks, Shangri-La takes the dedicated EDENBRIDGE listener on a musical ride into the realms of finest symphonic metal. Their forthcoming album not only unleashes a sophisticated range of compositions along with an intoxicating and bombastic sound atmosphere EDENBRIDGE are known and loved for, but the band created their most diverse record to date. Despite constantly high quality standards and as the new offering proves, EDENBRIDGE continually expands their musical expression from album to album without abandoning their trademarks. This time, the band has created a fine balance between emotionally magical moments, an ever-present mystical atmosphere and heavy, fast-paced riffage.

Formed in 1998, EDENBRIDGE belongs to one of the most style-defining bands of their genre, spearheading its domain since their pathbreaking debut album “Sunrise in Eden” (2000). Their forthcoming magnum opus, Shangri-La, was recorded at the Farpoint Station Studio, mixed by Karl Groom and was produced by Lanvall himself. “Instead of going on a European tour in spring 2020, it was a matter of flipping on our creative switch and channelling those intense energies into a transformative song writing process for the new album,“ he says.

The cover art was created by United Arab Emirates artist, Muhammad K. Nazia, and features a pictorial representation of Shangri-La embodied as a synonym for paradise. The term was first mentioned in the novel “Lost Horizon” by James Hilton. It is described as a mystical place where people live in peace and harmony. However, the story itself is based on the ancient Far Eastern legend of “Shambala” depicted in long-preserved Buddhist scriptures. The legend depicts a paradise that is to become accessible again only when humankind is ready for it and only when a few have the spiritual maturity to understand and preserve the teachings. Sabine reveals: “For me, ‘Shangri-La’ is a wellspring of wisdom, a deeply secluded spiritual centre and a realm of retreat that casts a magical allure over we humans. And there is a reason why it is so meaningfully said: ‘You do not enter paradise with your feet, but with your heart’.”

RESISTANCE Sign Worldwide Deal with Pure Steel Records

Los Angeles Metal Machine – RESISTANCE – is pleased to announce signing with PURE STEEL RECORDS (GER).

Since its 2000 inception, RESISTANCE have become one of the standout bands carrying the torch of the N.W.O.T.H.M. (New wave of traditional heavy metal). Through years of songwriting, recording and touring through North America, South America, Europe and the Mediterranean, RESISTANCE have forged and refined their brand of American Power Metal. The quintet has released four prior studio albums and now ride into battle with the PURE STEEL RECORDS team. 

They are now presenting to the world “Skulls of my enemy”, their follow up to 2017’s critically acclaimed album “Metal Machine”. The artwork of the new album was completed by Dusan Markovic.
