SADISTIC RITUAL have released their second album, The Enigma, Boundless, in its entirety via Prosthetic Records. The Atlanta, GA psychedelic thrash group’s sophomore full-length is nine tracks of hallucinogenic terror, infused with enough electrifying energy to propel them into the bright future they surely deserve.

Speaking on the album release, SADISTIC RITUAL comments: “Now that the public has access to The Enigma, Boundless they know what to expect out of our camp from now on. No trendy, formulated copycat gimmicks, but a universal take on heavy music. You can tune into our spot on Gimme Metal Radio on May 27 if you want to know more about our influences. And to our fans, you’ll see us on the road this year…”
SADISTIC RITUAL delivers classic thrash licks in spades, set against a backdrop of chugging, headbang-worthy tunes. The accessibility of their songs – which will delight metalheads across subgenres – belies the thought and consideration that goes into each element of SADISTIC RITUAL. Their strong DIY ethic means everyone’s getting their hands dirty along the way, and allows each member to play to their strengths. In the case of guitarist, Alex Parra, that includes notching up production credits on the recording of The Enigma, Boundless, Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Tomb Mold, Venom Prison) was brought in to master the album.
With a disdain for authority, and themes of real world horrors – specifically spiritual and political fears being confronted – running through the album, there’s a dark and sometimes paranoid undercurrent to the lyrical content on The Enigma, Boundless, penned by Southern and drummer, Joe Sweat. Throw in an affection for LSD and the psychedelic part of ‘psychedelic thrash’ starts to become further apparent. The Enigma, Boundless was written, recorded, and ritualized under the dystopian schism that was 2020 – and arrives here in 2022 to annihilate the fallacies of a fabricated reality. The distinctive album art was crafted through a collaborative process between artist Erica Frevel and Sweat, who shared themes, ideas and creative directions to guide her visual representations. Bassist LaMar George worked on the album layout, making the presentation of the overall album aesthetic a truly collaborative effort – and an accurate depiction of SADISTIC RITUAL in 2022.
Los Angeles power trio SASQUATCH announce the June 3 arrival of their awaited sixth album, Fever Fantasy. Preorders are open now for the Mad Oak Records release, and the band has booked a four-week US/Canada tour alongside Portland, Oregon’s Hippie Death Cult as well as an early fall Australia/New Zealand tour with Pieces of Molly.
It’s been five long years since Sasquatch powerhoused their way through Maneuvers, their last LP. With Keith Gibbs on guitar and vocals, Jason “Cas” Casanova on bass and drummer Craig Riggs (also Kind, Roadsaw, etc.) making his debut with the band, the album established a raw rock-for-rockers ethic that Fever Fantasy pushes forward and builds on. Returning to New York to work again with producer Andrew Schneider, the album was completed late in 2019 and has been waiting for release ever since.
“There was no way to know when the time would be right, of course,” says Casanova, “but we didn’t want to throw the tunes out there without being able to support them in the right way. We can’t wait to hang with old friends and new on the road for this album.”
With more tours to be announced and more music to come, Sasquatch aren’t just “returning” or “picking up where they left off.” In Fever Fantasy, they’re answering a call with volume heavy-hitting rock and roll as only they can.

For over 20 years, Los Angeles power trio Sasquatch have been an institution among fuzz heads and those willing to groove. Their early work on 2004’s self-titled debut, 2006’s II and 2010’s III took them through lineup changes but found them unflinching in their purpose toward modernizing the classic heavy rock of their youth, and with 2013’s IV and 2017’s Maneuvers, their maturity — such as it is — has seen no letup in urgency. Founding vocalist/guitarist Keith Gibbs, bassist Jason “Cas” Casanova (ex-Tummler and Behold! the Monolith) and drummer Craig Riggs (Roadsaw, Kind) recorded Fever Fantasy late in 2019 with NY-based producer Andrew Schneider, and have held back releasing it until conditions permitted touring, and having already been to multiple continents and reaped the reward of a dedicated, still-growing fanbase, they look to 2022 and beyond as a chance to build on the accomplishments that have made them one of their generation’s most heralded American heavy rock bands.
Dawn of Solace, the solo project of Wolfheart/Before The Dawn mastermind Tuomas Saukkonen, have released their brand new EP “Notes Of Perdition”, out today on Noble Demon. Just a few months after the release of their latest album “Flames Of Perdition”, the new EP from the Finnish masters of melancholy offers four intimate and soulful unplugged versions of songs from their latest full-length and is once again an unforgettable journey through breathtaking atmospheres of incomparable class.
Tuomas Saukkonen comments:
“I love making unplugged and minimalistic version of DoS songs and strip the songs to the core where so little is needed to produce so much sadness and emotion.”
In support of the new EP and to celebrate the release in style, Dawn of Solace have released a brand new music video for the track “White Noise”.

MOTHER OF MILLIONS have released the fourth and final video, from their EP “Orbit”. It´s a beautiful piano version of the song Rome.
Orbit is the band’s first release after the loss of keybordist Makis Tsamkosoglou, during a show in June 2019. It is a soul-searching, introspective and affecting record, that attempts to share all emotions that followed this tragic event. Recording it, was described by the band as a necessary healing experience for its restart process.
Mother of Millions is a prog-metal quartet based in Athens, Greece.
The band has released 3 albums, “Human” (Bungalo 2014), “Sigma” (ViciSolum Productions 2017), Artifacts (ViciSolum Productions 2019), getting the most positive reviews from the audience and the global music press. A new EP is soon to be released, while Mother of Millions are working on a new album.
The band performed sold-out headline shows in Athens, shows with Textures on their last European tour, support shows with Ruud Jolie’s For All We Know in the Netherlands, while the band has shared the stage with artists such as Pain of Salvation, Devin Townsend, Leprous, Oceans of Slumber, Septic Flesh etc.
In June 2019 during a show promoting Artifacts, Mother of Millions’ keyboardist and beloved friend Makis Tsamkosoglou passed away. Following this tragic incident, the band decided to keep going as a quartet.
Mother of Millions sounds equally massive as cinematic. Intense soundscapes involving elaborate rhythms, folk aesthetics and progressive rock tunes.
